  1. Thanks, I'll do that and give it a couple days.
  2. I don't know how to do that. Do you see a pic of me at Soldier Field? I see Cutler on his keester.
  3. I've been trying to change my personal photo and avatar with no luck. It shows I've changed them in my controls section, but not anywhere else. Please advise when able. Thanks
  4. Pertaining to space. I remember them signing vets to the minimum and it not counting against the cap. Does anyone have info on if any of those guys paid off?
  5. I was thinking he was giving Tucker a pass, based on the fact that he blamed himself for not providing depth and admitting SMC and Hardin are busts and Bostic was out of position he was drafted for.
  6. Coach meat head and J Marcus Webb don't sway your opinion at all? How about Alshon being a soft rookie, Forte and Marshall less than healthy. Oh, Kellen Davis...
  7. Think of this... If Cutler is getting X, then Y is all that's left. Since everyone knows what Y is, it's easier to accept a lower contract or move on. As bad as our defense was, they will not be in demand. Check mate! After that our Casio looks great for future seasons. I'm good with it...
  8. Thanks fir sharing, but that was a completely useless article. All of those QB'S had a better OL and coordinator those years previous to this. I'm not a Cutler apologist but damn. Nobody could work under those conditions. Hester as the number one receiver, Tice as OC, Webb...
  9. Ha, you may be right. It could be argued he was our best defender this year. But, dollar for dollar, he could be the worse value.
  10. I'm not sure why there is so much negativity surrounding this contract. Trestman and Emery have deemed Cutler worthy of this deal and Cutler took less to stay with the Bears. That is a win win. Look down the road at the Cutler effect and you will see that Brandon marshall probably won't be a dick when it comes time to re-up. Marshall may in turn have an effect on Jeffrey, etc... Cutler and the Bears by knowing and showing could make this off season very productive in retaining the talent we want to keep without losing the ability to sign other help. Oh, and we keep the #2 scoring offense intact. I'm glad they got it done so quickly too, as we all know everything hinged on Cutler.
  11. I said it with the O for years. Fix the line first and the rest will follow. Done! So, you all know my thoughts on drafting D...
  12. I think if you look at again, he really wasn't in a position to do anything else.
  13. That may have been true in high school, not the NFL. Players have to do extraordinary things to make a difference. Peppers job on that play was to get there and disrupt. Check. Kuhn made a miraculous block, plain and simple. Rodgers even said so. Rodgers said they were fooled by the blitz and we're fortunate to have success on that play. If you want to blame anyone up front, take a pick of the rest of those that didn't get there.
  14. He was the only defender to earn his pay last Sunday
  15. It only stands to reason that he should make more than Stafford. I like that he's in the fold quickly.
  16. That's a great point. It even made me think a new coach trying to build a locker room would pay a premium for the work ethic and leadership.
  17. I have to admit two things: One, I don't know a lot about the 3-4 defense and secondly, I'm intrigued by the thought of it. What I do believe is that Wooten and Peppers are big and athletic enough to play 3-4 ends while I have reservations about Paea playing any role at his size / athletic ability. That's not saying he can't add girth to play the nose. I like McClellin and Bostic on the outside utilizing their speed Briggs and Williams look to be a fit in the middle, as they are surer tacklers and range and explosiveness not what it used to be. Not sure Green fits in this scheme unless he can move inside. In the secondary, I would really love to see Tillman move to safety or let him walk. He is simply a funnel corner and a liability if left alone. He's still a great tackler and very instinctive. I could multiple strips and picks for him next year. I like us to sign Jennings. He is a really good cover corner. Imagine the confidence he would have knowing Peanut has his back. I may be alone here but I think Conte is redeemable next year. He was better in 2012. Was his regression due to scheme and coaching or ability. Wright can go. He simply doesn't make enough plays for his aggressive nature.
  18. Fire him. Someone has to fall on the sword.might as well be Tucker.
  19. His post has him getting an avg of 16 mil a year.
  20. Based on what I saw yesterday, Jay should be back.
  21. He could probably put on weight if we wanted him to too. No more need for light and fast, which is not how he plays anyway.
  22. Coach said he had a personal matter.
  23. Did they use money from this year to save on cap hit? Hello cap guys...
  24. Yes to all! I bet you are loving the success of our BIG receivers. Are you still deployed?
