I could have done that too with Favre. But, I didn't. You learn who you are as fan, coach, and player if you get your ass kicked a lot. You learn how to overcome it. If you don't, then you have lost your title of "die hard". If I had lost my desire to watch Favre kick our ass, I never would have seen the last play of his career.(how great was that?) It's pretty tough to win time of possession when you can't run the ball. It's not all on Jay. We have 40% of our OL missing along with our 2 stud receivers hobbling around. They'll hopefully heal up. No turnovers was great. Win was better. Jay had a good, not great game.

While I see a need for improvement at safety, I see no reason to get rid of Conte. I would honestly shelve him for as long as possible to make sure that shoulder is ready for when the weather gets cold. We are going to need that depth in December and January, whether he is a starter or not.

He's fast anywhere. It was 14 degrees last year vs free Packers and he was clearly the fastest player on the field. I get that outdoor are faster on turf, but he's far on both. Never have seen him get caught from behind on either.

He plays for Lovie...

He's so much more fluid than most players. The way he effortlessly changes direction, in a deceptive way, is a huge plus for him.
