  1. Since we invested highly on D via free agency, I'll go O. We need OL, youth and speed everywhere. Amari Cooper WR Jake Fisher OT Tevin Coleman RB Arie Kouandjio. sp? OG Andy Gallik C Jeff Heuerman TE Antwan Goodley WR
  2. Due to having the oldest secondary in NFL history the Cincinnati Bengals select the third Collins in a row. CB Jalen Collins from LSU. Not sure who's next...
  3. I agree in principle only. So many other things need addressed before we mortgage the future again with an unknown. If Cutler it's as bad this year as last, we'll be in good position to go all out next year. But, let's fix some of the other shit first.

    Good Articles

I wanted Chandler Jones or Whitney Merciless
  5. I'll take Cincy to help take some load off you.
  6. I was done with him halfway through the Ohio State game.
  7. Kiper has him as the 6th best player in the draft.
  8. Just mentioned him on the draft post, so obviously I'm in!
  9. This is what I want as well. I don't think there is a corner worthy of 7, so I wouldn't go there. That OT from Iowa is 6 on Mel's big board. I wouldn't mind that either.
  10. Guarantee he's bigger too. Garza is lucky if he's actually 285...
  11. So, if Gurley or Gordon is there in the 2nd round, you don't pick them? Forte would be gone before the draft was over.

    Chris Conley?

From my perspective, you must have ability to stretch the field to be able to effectively run the ball. We don't have the speed at any position to get any team out their game plan.
  13. With the lack of talent all over the team, I don't think BPA was never not an option.
  14. Now I hope we draft an OLB, so you can finish falling off the deep end, lol...
  15. I think the vet min signings are no cost on cap.
  16. Michael Bush ran a 4.91...

    Crazy Draft

You are not wrong. If Collins goes to us at 7, I would be shocked.
  18. Damn, you are a perpetually negative f'er aren't you? Lol...
  19. Wow, that's a lot of draft choices added in the last 4 years.(21 picks) Add that to the studs they already had on the roster and they should have been a juggernaut. I'm really interested to see what SF looks like after losing a bunch of talent, because it looks like they should have replacements in the pipeline. Also interested to see how many of them stuck and are with other teams.

    Draftek Mock

It depends on whether they think Winston is a fit. On the BPA front, nobody said draft a QB every pick if they are BPA etc. The premise is to not let needs dictate your draft. Proactive vs reactive is all it is.
  21. There absolutely nothing more effective for a defense than to keep them off the field...:-)
  22. That's an intersting take. I know from my own standpoint, we never talked about concussions in sports. We just called it getting your bell rung. I remember the trainer popping amonia packets to revive guys and having a ringing in my ears after a good hit. I'm approaching 50 now and sometimes feel as if I'm a little more foggy than I should be. Other times, sharp as always. The more I read and learn, the less I like. The study that bothered me most was the one published in the last year. They performed baseline studies on HS football players before they started the season and all of the kids brain functions lowered as the season progressed. That being said, the brain recovers and the kids functions returned to baseline shortly after the season ended. Scary stuff though, as I have a nine year old that really loves to play.
