I've always wondered why. My only thought is that defenses are so fast that the QB's can't execute. There are a thousand guys that have the arm skills, but only about 10-15 guys in the world can execute.

Alshon will more than likely have to come down more than the Bears go up. He is playing a dangerous game with his future with the team. He does have leverage this year regardless of the franchise tag. The 14 mil goes a long way in offsetting any annual shortage he receives in a long term deal. But, if he has another injury plagued season it will erode the cushion.

Yet another shameless ploy by Madlith to get the "Honey Bears" back. Count me in!

I'm hopeful, but skeptical. There are too many factors involved, including that we don't know how teams planned for us. For all we know teams may have decided to work on other stuff when they played us from lack of respect. I'm almost certain Fox will establish a strength and identity with this team and that he and Pace are on the right track.

We will be in a 4-3 quite a bit. At that point our 3-4 OLB will become DE, giving us 5 LB on the field. I think we'll keep a high amount of LB on the roster.
