  1. I'd rather have the eighth pick in front them. More trade value and one pick closer to Bowers.
  2. What is the keep Justin, trade with Patriots at 3 look like? MHJ at 3, 32, 68 and next year's first rounder.(from NE). Plus our picks That might be nasty, because the Patriots play in a tough division and need retooled. I would feel confident we'd get another top five pick.
  3. It's weird that their QBR is so far apart. I like Sanders. He'll be one of the top QBs next year.
  4. You could add the value of trading for the number three in the keep Justin part.
  5. Yet it dominated the news today. It was on Greeney, Kap and J Hood and Carmen and Jurko.
  6. Money is not a problem, yet. The minute you overpay Fields, it compromises the ability to retain other players. If you pay Mahomes, he makes up for it with his greatness. If you pay Justin, he will need to do the same or it's a flatline. It may not be that way ?, but percentages say it is. I'm not going to the casino with that mindset.
  7. Kmet is a pure inline TE. He doesn't have the lateral agility and separation quickness. Bowers has the ability to line up in the backfield, slot abd wide. He's not an online blocker, but is a great blocker with LB's and DB's, due to his willingness, technique and lateral quickness. How many times have we seen a YAC opportunity for Kmet and his change of direction was summit not there. Dude is a diesel though. I honestly believe a guy like Bowers, frees Kmet up more. I'm good with Moore getting 100 catches, with Bowers and Kmet getting 100 total. After that, our number two receiver can get 50-70 and we have a squad.
  8. This, I can get behind. There is an element that may attract him to a team. Potential suiters could be someone that really thinks that Justin has been used incorrectly. (Like a lot here think). Or that they can fix him. (Same). Or they feel they have the talent to support him. (Same). There are coaches and GM's that have the arrogance to think they can do something that the other guy can't. There are also coaches and GM's that are stuck in the mud. (Belichick for example). There are also owners that get in the way. (Jones, Tepper, Bidwell, Brown and the McCaskey's) I've seen some weird stuff over the years. But, you are probably correct that he doesn't go to 15. I was even thinking 20-32 area.
  9. What you are missing is, you keep saying dumb stuff like, he didn't name sources. And in the context of your sentence structure, it comes off as the person you were conversing with is wrong or misspoken and you are setting it straight. Then, when pressed on the issue, you don't reflect on it, you double down on the same rhetoric. If I had a dollar for every time you end your opinion with, "we don't know what Poles will do". No shit. That's how we all feel. We all know, that we don't know. Even Schefter says the same. That's why we're here. You initial response about Sheffter, was that we don't know his sources. Well, you never will. That's why he gets paid and remains employed. So, why the counter comments when, essentially, we agree? Asking for a few friends...
  10. Again, you know better. He is NOT in the business of bull-shitting. He is TRUSTED. If he weren't trusted, they wouldn't give information. Is it gospel? No. But, it's more credible than EVERY other source out there. It's NEVER mere speculation on his part. His journalistic integrity is everything.
  11. Adam Schefter is not the average schmuck off the street. He and Ian Rappaport are the ones that people talk to. But, of course you already know that. C'mon man...
  12. That's kinda the thought I had. He also stated that teams have already been sniffing around concerning the number one pick. I'm betting it happens shortly after the combine, if we move the pick.
  13. It was on espn1000. They asked him if he thinks they could get a good draft pick for Justin. He said they can easily get a first. They said really? Then, he said something like, "from what I'm hearing, I'd be shocked if they didn't".
  14. That's actually 90% of what I'll be focusing on. The other part is the eye test of seeing it in person.
  15. My Combine plans are growing. Five of us going. (Dad in tow ) All three of my buddies have a fun claim to fame. One played against Thurman Thomas and Barry Sanders on one team and Sean Payton and Jurko on another.(he went on to play pro football in Germany for fifteen years) The other played WR for the old ball coach at Florida. The last, was in the movie Wildcats with Goldie Hawn. He was the one that had Finch fall on him. He got paid an extra fifty bucks cash for that. All told, I'll have a decent scouting team there.
  16. He's got a live arm and great release. He'll throw it anywhere. Very mobile and multi-sport athletic...
  17. Urlacher was just on Waddle and Silvey. They brought up how popular Justin is in the locker room. He spoke about what a great dynamic that is. Then, he asked, "but are they winning"? As a locker room leader, he said that players love their QB more when they win. He said Caleb...
  18. I think there are a bunch of really intriguing QBs in the draft this year. I wouldnt be 100% sure that JJ McCarthy isnt gonna come into the league and ball out, but of course the likelihood of that is less than some of the bigger names. Spencer Rattler is coming into his own as well. He was a 5star out of highschool. He was also an arrogant prick. He was slinging it at the senior bowl. (Game and practice)
  19. My guy Drake. First, we fleece Washington for picks. Then we draft Maye. Adam Sheffter said he's almost certain the Bears will get a first for Justin. (That's what he's hearing)
  20. You would love it. We want to move there in a few years.
  21. We went to Rincon Puerto Rico last year. We always felt safe, but the roads were treacherous. Cantina life is great there. Love PR...
  22. Was it this one? Very trendy these days and delicious...
  23. Thank you Grizz and Stinger. We are staying near the marina, so that is awesome stuff! Anyone else have some advice. I'll take all I can get to make this trip safe and memorable.
  24. I'm taking my son fishing fishing there in June. What places are best to see and avoid?
