    Arthur Brown

So you base your opinion off what other people think? How original...

    Arthur Brown

Agreed. I'll add, Ogletree is a natural 241 with room to add weight, while Brown is an inflated 241 with no room to grow. Combine that with speed, power and aggression and Ogletree is hands down the better athlete.
  3. I'd like Fluker as a RG On Mathieu; he's immature, a pothead, verysmall, weak and does not like to hit or be hit. The only CB I ever saw thrive without having to hit was Sanders. Mathieu is not remotely close. On Te'o; I think he's going to be a bust. No strength at point of attack, no burst and no natural size. It will remain to be seen what he is in the NFL.
  4. I think Fluker can actually play OG. If that were the Bears intent with drafting him,I could live with that. As a RT,I would think it would be a waste, as we already have 3 RT's signed to compete. We need and OG and C upgrade. I would not be mad if we took Barrett Jones in the 2nd. I love watching film on him. Very good at point of attack, sound technique, locks on when engaged and gets to the 2nd level very well.(very impressive with his hands) Smart sound player. Will be a very good C in the NFL...
  5. Hate all 3. We already have 3 guys signed to compete at RT. Drafting Fluker would be like drafting a TE with the 1st pick. 2nd, I simply feel Te'o will be a bust. Mathieu is a huge gamble in the 4th and not needed. Our immediate upgrade list includes OG, OC, LB, CB, DT and WR.
  6. Great post. On Forte and Earl, if they don't stay healthy this year, I'm looking for them to renegotiate or be cut loose.
  7. I agree with the key word collective. As a collective, we cover all the bases. As individuals, I doubt any of us could do as well as any seasoned NFL personnel. Now, I believe some have the talent required to work in the league, but time in the league would be required to gain the experience and connections before ever thinking we could fill a GM role.
  8. My original statement stands. We need 2 quality OG's or OG and OC. I'm not counting on unproven OT's to fill that role.
  9. My bad, I thought you both qouted and replied to me...
  10. We were talking about the draft...
  11. I think they'll play that out until the last minute. You never pass on or trade out of a situation where you feel you can get an impact player. If Emery feels he can trade down and get the same amount of impact players, I'm all for it.
  12. DE would not surprise me at all. For one, you can never have too many. Add to that, Peppers cap hit is going to be around 16mil next year and may be a casualty.
  13. I'll take McCown or Rexy. I'd also like to see a running QB as a 3rd option. When in doubt, run like hell!!!
  14. It all depends on what player I am. If I feel I'm good, yet unrecognized, I want to be the man somewhere. If I'm in the twilight of my carreer, I want to win, so I go to a winer. If I'm greedy, I go to the Browns for top dollar. If I'm pretty and personable, I go to a big media market for more endorsements. If Ray Lewis gets me any of that I'll take it. If not, I'll go where I can. I see no place Urlacher helps anyone fit better.
  15. Your proposal has been rejected! We will decide what is best for this team...

    Urlacher

Obtuse? Careful bro, that'll get you a month or two in solitary...
  17. We need two starting guards or one guard and one center. That's it for needs. After that, we could use fresh bodies at WR, LB, DT and CB. All said, after OG, we should expect a heavy defensive draft.
  18. The 49ers have 14 picks in this draft. I wonder what the trade index would say if we traded our 1 and 2 for their 1st, 2nd pick in rd2 and a 3rd? C'mon chart-meisters give me a stat!
  19. Your 5 or 6 option needs to be a young developing player. People in the work place thrive better with something to aspire to. If the cream rises to the top, so be it. Ocho is far past that.
  20. I'm convinced you will say anything to win an argument...
  21. LOL! Thinking the same. Seriously, maybe Trestman put it out there to make teams gameplan a little differently against us. It's been said, that it affects prep time for other areas. So it could be a smokescreen we see in preseason and never see utilized in the regular. Or just a plan for the backup QB.
  22. I DVR it and have seen every single episode. If a seller wants 1000, he offers 500 and settles for 750. Just like you said negotiations work.
  23. I remember. I agreed with you Moss, but strongly disagreed on T.O. DJ Williams is cheap with all upside on this deal. I'm good with it. He should be an upgrade.
