Cap Space - your thoughts
Mr. Cutler needs tear his contract up and renegotiate at a lower rate. Our only leverage is threatening to cut him. Then someone will sign him much less.

Colts Targeting Brandon Marshall
Most experts, including ALL of us, claim we stole Marshall with the two 3'rds. At 30, he easily can have 4 productive years. I would give a 2nd for someone that proven. Many teams have a demand for that right now and don't want to wait for a rookie to develop. Sometimes it's worth a slight overpay. While we are at it, let's get their 3rd for Forte. Running back is loaded in this draft.

Colts Targeting Brandon Marshall
Brandon Marshall is exactly what the Colts need. If they can draft one of the stud running backs and get Marshall watch out. Plus they are waaaay under the cap...

McCown to Bills
Yup. I think it's been Cutler all along. Fox and company have been doing their level best to discretely tear Cutler's ego down/humble him. You have to do that with smart stubborn people sometime. I wish we had better options because I'm simply tired of the roller coaster and like my leaders to be vocal and encouraging.

Trim, bald, Brazilian or landing strip?- The anti-Lovie draft
I'm not a Collins fan, so I hate it. Give me BPA all day long.- Post Combine 4R Mock
Suggs was too slow for us to draft back in the day. Shelton is a good football player. If the staff likes the film, I hope the short arms and 40 don't scare them off.- Let's play a game
They might be able to get two seconds and a third.- Combine updates
Somewhere, Mike Mamula is smiling. We must look at film and like. We passed on so many good film players due to size and speed concerns. No more men in shorts drafting for us.- Let's play a game
I mentioned teaching those three in a post before Trestman was fired, so of course I'm good with it. My only concern is who replaces Cutler. If we could hit on a serviceable QB it could electric sooner than later.- Who will be at #7
There is something to be said for taking matters into your own hands. Some do that by standing pat with their pick, some pay the numbers game to see what sticks. Playing armchair GM, I'm first and foremost a BPA guy. But if I don't see that guy, I become a numbers guy.- Rumor: Bears asking BMarshall to Take PayCut
Marshall will not be cut. He IS tradeable. This is ridiculous. I guess they'll cut Forte next...- Harvin to Bears?
I want Hester back.- LaRon Landry released by Colts
No he doesn't. There is a reason he is available. We all should be are of previously popular names and other such shiny things...- LaRon Landry released by Colts
Agreed. I live outside of Indy so I've seen enough of him. He sucks...- GM for the day(free agents) defense
Agreed. I hope we can harvest according to his strengths...- Cutting Cutler
Why discuss cutting Cutler? He has trade value. Why not erase the cap hit and gain a pick?- Feeley Gives His Perspectives on the Bears
The article actually makes me optimistic. Fox is known to be a strong leader. One thing about good leaders is that they know one when they see one. It will be important for them to find those guys and channel the locker room through them. This can help Jay if he's never going to be the voice. Fox will be that strong from the top which will help as well.- With new coaching staff in Place, Briggs wants back
The only way I would consider having Briggs back is if we are in win now mode and he was the missing piece of the puzzle. He's never played inside in the NFL, so why would be want to try him for a year. They would simply lose a year of developing someone much more ascending.- With new coaching staff in Place, Briggs wants back
No thanks. He's washed up. - Lions Cut Bush
