Belichick was probably laughing his ass off as he was making the trade too pick behind us too. Sorry guys, there were 10 guys I'd have picked before this one. Hate it, but giving it a chance now that it's done.
Hopefully a trade is going to occur???
Exactly. The Browns wanted to guarantee their single greatest need was met. Tampa was sitting at 5 coveting Richardson and was probably in play. Time will tell if they gave too much. But, they got their man and still have another first they can spend on WR.
I read an interview with Emery and I think he made a little dig at JA. He spoke of NOT drafting guys that are small or slow with a specific role in mind.(Beekman, Okwo, Bazuin, Wolfe, Gilbert, and Joe) Anyway, it made too damn much sense to me.
There is a reason the 46 defense is no longer used. It's been figured out and now is just a small piece of any of any teams gameplan. Martz is the exact same parallel. He was too stubborn or ignorant to accept it. He was when we hired him and is now over, forever.
That's what I thought too. I'm thinking we go DE, WR and DT in that order. He commented those were the three deepest positions. Probably can get starter quality with all 3 picks. I would go BPA from there on out. I really doubt OL is going to be addressed to our satisfaction.(miracles happen)
I think me most people are done with TO because he simply can not run anymore. They always put up with his crap as long as he could play. He's done. Hes not better now than Bennet or Hester. Give it up Jason.
Good work. You know the difference between 23 and 13 percent is ten, but that actual percentage difference is around 48% better.(almost a 2-1 ratio) Also, you didn't give Cutler credit for a PB. Was he an alternate or something. I'd be curious to see how your stats break down per round.

I don't see it happening but... What if Kalil falls out of the top 10? What would it take to move up 8 spots and would it be worth it to you?
Please no bitching about the Bears winning the last game in this post...
Three odds are just far greater that you get a good one the earlier you pick them. Use the Gallery example. He was supposed to make a great tackle and ended up being an ok guard. The later you are drafted, the odds of that decrease, a they just get cut.
Nothing says, get your shit together like going in the 7th round. What have we got to lose? I definately don't want to see a 7th round OL or DL. Never know, he may hang out with Url and Briggs and decide he wants to be a big boy.
That goes along with my thinking. I said in another post that I thought pass rush will be the key to the success of the team. It does make a difference where it comes from unless Lovie wants to adapt his scheme. It has to start with the DL. If that happens, they can have success from other areas.
I want the OL fixed as much as the next guy, but damn thats steep. Is he that much of a can't miss prospect?
Anyway, I would not do any trading up. Unless, it was too good to be true.
