  1. I'd like to see some film on him. At his height, pad level and knee bend are crucial. Also like to see if there is any burst.
  2. Don't let Wesson see this. He'll pass out like the girls used to at the Elvis concerts...
  3. Agree with your perspective on JC and the fotogs. Let me add that he brings a lot on himself by being aloof and dickish with the media. The finger incident will only make them harass him more, as they will now attempt to incite and bait him. That being said, I think my personality would make me standoffish with the media as well. Especially fotogs. I think they are representative of what is wrong with civilization. Bottom feeders preying to serve the interest of dumbasses who give a crap what Cutler and GF do on a Saturday in April.
  4. Love the new CBA! I'm glad not to have contract talk cloud ESPN in August.
  5. I'm leary of nearly all rookie WR's. I don't factor Broyles at all until I see otherwise.
  6. I'm not surprised. We have done nothing substantial to bolster the talent. What we have done that the media does not see: Got rid of Martz, traded for Marshall, drafted Jeffrey, identified remdies to enhance our weakenesses, have a full offseason to work and got Williams and Carimi back. That being said, my confidence is iffy due to the following reasons: Tice has given me no reason to have faith in him yet and Williams and Carimi have not proven they can stay on the field. The things I like are continuity, Martz is gone, Marshall will be a huge bailout and eternal hope as a Bears fan.
  7. I'll take 2 young ones. Clady and Suh.
  8. Finley too. No way our recievers are as good yet.
  9. I agree with you 100%. But, I alsmost shit myself laughing at the irony of your post. Dude, you are the king of size matters. The over/under of you posting a size stat is at about 40%. I can remember you wanting big WR's and DB's to matchup against these smurfs. I'm glad Dr. Mongo has worked miracles with your psychy.
  10. Somewhere between 11 & 16 in yards. 8 to 12 in points.
  11. Agreed! You don't have to leave a LB or SS in to cover him. He can simply be defended with members of the nickle or dime package in passing situations. If he can not block, he literally creates zero mismatch opportunites. Now, that being said, if he can block, he has the ability to isolate the occasional mismatch. Here's to hoping...
  12. Mongo is my nickname. 3451 needs no explaination. Bears fan since birth 1965! Chile, what part of SO Indiana? I hunt down there...
  13. I gave this draft a C. It was strange to see we drafted players that no one thought we should draft, outside of Jeffery. Also stranger that we drafted no OL, DT or LB. It means they really do trust the OL to be better, they plan on utilizing offensive weapons in new ways and our great linebackers are ageless. I think they drafted the safety with Megatron in mind. All told, I like what I see on offense. Indifferent about the D.
  14. What I take from this draft is the word bizarre. I'm not complaining but just thought it would have turned out much differently. If anyone would have told me an OL, LB or DT would have not been chosen, I would've said they were nuts. BTW-That easy name to spell... You misspelled it....

    2nd Round Pick

Martin in the 2nd and Quick in the 3rd. Would love to see a trade up to get in the 3rd again for a DT...
  16. Not starting a race thing here, but what does color have to do with it? The type of player someone is starts with talent, brains and heart.
  17. For the record; I was against this pick last week when AZ54 posted we were interested and was shocked he was drafted by Emery with so many other options availible. I was particularly amazed that Emery went against his mantra of drafting properly sized players for position. You usually want your LDE to be bigger and stronger than McClellan. That being said, I'm done bitching and am putting my good karma towards the kid. He's a Bear, a hard worker, productive, talented and a good kid to boot. Welcome aboard Shea!
  18. Belichick was probably laughing his ass off as he was making the trade too pick behind us too. Sorry guys, there were 10 guys I'd have picked before this one. Hate it, but giving it a chance now that it's done. Hopefully a trade is going to occur???
  19. I'm sick of the fake cell phone calls and hugs for the commish. WTF? Maybe the beer is talking...
  20. Exactly. The Browns wanted to guarantee their single greatest need was met. Tampa was sitting at 5 coveting Richardson and was probably in play. Time will tell if they gave too much. But, they got their man and still have another first they can spend on WR.
  21. No, but getting off on the snap was. Ted Washington made contact with the LOS faster than Spellman.
  22. I read an interview with Emery and I think he made a little dig at JA. He spoke of NOT drafting guys that are small or slow with a specific role in mind.(Beekman, Okwo, Bazuin, Wolfe, Gilbert, and Joe) Anyway, it made too damn much sense to me.
  23. Nothing fishy, they are talking to scouts and get more info/clues everyday.
