  1. I could have drafted JJ McCarthy at 16 and Sanders or Penix on the second. I got greedy, plus I really like Bagent.
  2. In a keep Fields thread, I think this checks a lot of boxes. Was thinking we could convert Johnny Wilson to a move TE. Between he and Lachey, we can send Tonyan to BFE...
  3. I only have 7, with the rest being depth. My list goes: C, WR, LT, edge, 3T, move TE and P. Poles holds my 8th spot if he sends we need a QB. That priority would change to 1.
  4. Winning and learning to finish games > draft position. (Especially when you have #1 in the chamber)
  5. No thanks. He inherited a Superbowl team from Cowher and has done nothing since.
  6. I don't understand the dumb shit he calls when we need a yard. If Flus stays, maybe we can lure Jim Bob Cooter from the Colts since Steichen calls their plays.
  7. Mahomes shouldn't be in your argument. He's proven to win very big games from the pocket. He's just different.
  8. I don't. It's like political arguments these days. People pick a side and want to win the opinion war. Stats are so arguable. We could spin heads forever.
  9. He took a pot shot. Not cool given the last couple of weeks of in-fighting. Nobody cares about Fields' stats. His detractors on this board want too see him throw in rhythm and on time. And win consistently...
  10. I don't. Lamar will get whacked in the playoffs.
  11. It's my belief, that you will see the ceiling of what Justin could be, tomorrow night, when Lamar plays against the 49ers. It's also why, I believe, that type of QB can succeed, but never win the big one. If Lamar proves me wrong, it's a positive for Justin...
  12. Man, I hit that running to the toilet the other day...??
  13. I could, but won't. I'd never pick MHJ with the first pick.
  14. Some GM's told Courtney Cronin, that Justin will fetch anywhere from pick 25-45. Could be low first or high second. Or low second and third. Look back at the Darnold trade last year. GM's value Justin higher than that.
  15. We were just talking about Aikman a couple weeks ago. He has NOT endorsed or condemned Fields.
  16. Welcome back! Amen on the post...
  17. FWIW, Jalen Carter started the season hot and has faded off the radar the last six weeks. He has five sacks and 8 QB hits. Gervon Dexter started the season slow and has been trending up. He has one sack and 9 QB hits. It will be interesting to see how the next three games go...
  18. I believe this is answered at the ownership level. Some owners want to win at all cost, while others are in it for sustained income. As far as the Bears are concerned, I feel they have entered the win phase, especially with Mother McCaskey in her twilight.
  19. My question, because I hadn't heard the scenario; would they consider keeping the coaching staff together while dumping Fields? (Suggesting it would be a ready built situation for a new QB). He was like most of us; new QB, new coaches.
  20. Was listening to ESPN 1000 yesterday. A guy called in and said his brother was an NFL agent. He claims the Fields decision has been made and that he'll be on the trading block. Jurko didn't seem comfortable with the call and made no comment. The dude dropped a lot of names. Sounded like a drunken rant. Y'all can replay it on the app. I was on there too...
  21. It ain't that deep. I know some low level people at the stadium and some media invites. They also sell limited tickets. I'll get in one way or another. Won't be the first time.
