  1. These pop ups are pissing me off. They've become more random...
  2. I don't think we go OT, so receiver or edge for me. That includes Bowers.
  3. Now, you are just toying with the last emotion I have...?
  4. If this could happen, it would sway me to keep Justin.
  5. That's a lot of loot. No center has ever made over 15 mil a year. Three years 45 mil sounds better.
  6. Poles definitely needs to shore up the OL. It's my only knock on him from last draft. I wanted him to draft an OG or C with a high pick and he got neither. I'm still there if he doesn't get one in early FA. But, I will rule out LT at number 9. There will be a top edge player or WR available. Speaking of free agency. I truly believe that will be the tell all. Because if we are trading the number one, we won't need so many bodies in free agency. I expect if Poles makes a trade for the one, it will be early, like last year. Then, if we keep the one, I believe we trade the nine.
  7. Just watched Waldren. It interesting how he continually used words like adapt, adjust and flexible. Flus used those in his presser, as well, and they happen to be what Getsy was not. I love that Waldren has called plays before. I also love that his contemporaries followed him here from the Seahawks. Just viewing his presser shows how much more polished he is than Getsy. How bout the new look Flus? I didn't recognize him at first. Looking good kid...
  8. I was thinking of keeping Braxton. He has improved each year. As far as draft capitol is concerned, I'd rather see a couple receiving weapons, edge, 3T and safety come into play before replacing our LT.
  9. I was talking to my buddy today. He played D1 college and and German pro football untill he was 35. He said, football players don't respect some men that played and coach, let alone women.
  10. Braxton is number three on the needs to improve list. Center and RG were sub par last last year. IMO, the center is the key to it all. We easily led the league in pressures up the middle. The more I think about it, the more I want to sign the best fee agent center we can find. After that, draft a stud OG and swing.
  11. Whenever I come to the site and click on a post, it takes me to an advertisement. Is the happening with anyone else?
  12. It has less to do with lower body strength than it does footwork and hand fighting. If you let a DL get into your body, it's over. Overall mass and strength helps a ton, but guys make it in the NFL on technique.
  13. Did you ever play football? It's important to the context.
  14. We've debated, ad nauseum, about what to do with the draft and Justin. Many scenarios have occurred, from drafting Williams to trading back to gain capitol. Since it's pre combine, I'm doing a win win draft for what I'd like. I didn't get a starting center or swing tackle, but free agency should should be good in that area. Twelve picks and Washingtons 2025 number one. I also adjusted to count for an early second for Justin.
  15. The guys at The Atlantic recommended Lloyd Cushenberry, the center from the Broncos. He's only 26. They don't think that they'll be able to pay him.
  16. Love is a good one to throw in there. However, the Texans were loaded with young talent, with a really good OL.
  17. The tide is shifting in regards to starting these guys day one. They were talking about NE should not draft a QB until they have a register to support it. They used Fields and Young as the most recent guys to be thrown to the wolves, then compared them to Stroud and Mahomes having success on teams with good supporting cast.
  18. I don't mind them being assistant coaches. However, I do have a problem with them going further than that. A lot of the NFL mentality comes from getting the shit beat out of you from peewee football on. Unless a woman has been through that, I don't want to hear her opinion on how I'm going to run through a hole or pickup a blitzing linebacker.
  19. Williams is not a frail guy, so there's that. Bagent came out of nowhere and looked good. Another year of development is always great, unless it's Justin. Then, it's just ok...
  20. I believe Bagent will be the backup. There's a guy out there that Purdy worked with that increased his velocity by 5 mph. If Bagent can increase his arm strength, he should be fine.
