  1. The only QB in the NFL that doesn't make that throw is Trubisky.
  2. This right here! Can Fields get us to the playoffs with a superior supporting cast? Yes he can. Can he put a team on his back when the cap causes us to lose some premium talent? I don't think he can. If you can't throw people open, throw slants or hit tight windows over the middle, your silly not sustainable.
  3. Brandon Stayley is dead man walking...
  4. Wright wore Hutchinson out both games. Hutchinson had one good play against him on the forced fumble. Fields took the blame to starting he could've stepped up.
  5. I'm looking at this as a great game to evaluate Justin and Getsy. I hope they are in lockstep with each other this week. Anything above average is a win...
  6. Can you imagine if we replace Eddie Jackson with another one like Brisker? Our DB's would be elite...
  7. This was a huge win for the beloved. First back to back wins for Flus. First back to back division wins since 2019. The team is learning to win, together. Flus learned and adapted from the previous Lions game and the defense followed suit by believing in their leader. Huge win for Flus. Last year was the teardown. This year is the first year of the build up. Poles has this team on track to dominate on ways we haven't seen in awhile. It's amazing how fickle we fans, self included, have become. I was ready to fire Flus for his lack of balls in the first Lions game. So glad to see him learning. Getsy is learning as well. I'm seeing more second half adapting. His next progression will be to adapt on the fly. The only saving grace for Justin is going to be him buying into Getsy 100%, as trust between the two is paramount. They say water seeks it's own level and truly believe that is what this team is trending towards. I remember talking about getting the team healthy and used to playing together. The pieces are melding well, now that the core is able to perform. Needs for dominance are becoming more clear. C, RDE, WR, FS and RG respectively. I'm still at the opinion that Fields needs upgraded, but we can win with him.
  8. I like Maye. He's the most accurate QB in the draft with a fast release and cannon arm. He doesn't have the flashy numbers the others do, but he and McCarthy are the ones that play in a pro style offenses. Maye is also asked to look off both safeties, while the others are not asked to die to their restricted offenses. He also doesn't have near the skill weapons of the other QBs. Lastly, he's from a highly athletic and competitive family. He's been practicing that mental competitive toughness his whole life.
  9. Draft the deep spots and take your FA shots in the weak spots...
  10. I want ALL to stay and just remember why we are all here. You are part of our core...
  11. I don't think you understand how much you and your posts are valued here. We only have 10-15 really solid members and you and Stinger are right in the core of it. I jack with people all the time and hope it's never taken wrong. If anyone F's with you too much, I got you. That's what friends are for...
  12. Nah, you're good. I just think we need to learn to win instead of losing. A few extra draft positions shouldn't slow the growth.
  13. I've read all of your and Stingers dialogue. What I don't understand is your constant bashing of him. Just being impartial, because I consider both of you Bears brothers. You seem way out of line, by comparison, to what he is writing. I don't see all subtle mental shit, you are accusing him of. Sorry for getting in between your and his battle, but I'm just tired of it.
  14. Moving out to the south lot would be just making something dumb, even dumber. There would be even less parking and a more difficult egress. Capacity would obviously be limited like the current stadium, due to the lake choking traffic. After that, what do you do to make suitable use of the historical portion of the old stadium?
  15. Sorry, you lost me. What's the intent of this?
  16. I would be good with them learning to win.
  17. If Flus stays and they draft a QB, that guarantees Flus is here another two years. (Unless Poles is an idiot or a McCaskey gets involved). Anyway, I'm sure Poles will do his due diligence to determine what is the best situation for a new QB to thrive.
  18. Firing a head coach during a rebuild is burning quite a bit. Two years of building a culture would be down the drain. Most people love a solid structure and change brings a funny dynamic. Rats, ass kissers and back stabbers spring forward with a new boss. Eventually the leaders and the cream rise to the top, but not without scars and collateral damage. If Flus keeps showing growth and maintains the locker room, it will speak volumes for stability and growth.
  19. That's a strong opinion. One I flip flop on. On one hand, adding a new QB on an already built nest is a really good environment for a young QB. We truly don't know how good or bad Flus and Getsy are. Yes, they anger is. Yes, they make mistakes. They are both first timers on a huge rebuild. Pace knows what's up and he'll have his hand full.
  20. And if Fields balls out, you can trade the young gun. I don't like this one as much. It just seems like a dick move. I just see the team saying, ah hell nah...
  21. The NFL must hire full time officials. With billions of dollars on the line every week, they are concerned with saving thousands and it's ridiculous. They also need to start with team's having the ability to challenge any penalty they want. It shouldn't add too much time to the game, especially since they already have a video crew in new york looking at everything. TJ Watt had spoken out about officiating, saying the officials must not like him or something.
  22. I'll go Maye, Daniels, Williams, McCarthy, Nix, Penix, Sanders. Crazy, that's 7 in the first two rounds.
  23. Both are massive upgrades. MHJ is 6 inches taller, with a much larger catch radius. This would also put Mooney in the slot, where he belongs. Tonyan is terrible and needs to go. He misses blocks and drops important passes. Bowers is extremely talented. He's faster and shiftier than Kelce. Great hands and great blocker that runs like a RB with the ball after catch. Best prospect at the position I've seen in a long time.
  24. Everyone would if they knew it was "good" Randy. He was a team destroyer for a few years. MHJ is a good dude, just like his dad. He'll run great routes and block when asked. Here's the million dollar question: is he a bigger difference maker than Brock Bowers? I'd kill to draft both...
