I like your rating of Mahomes, because he is one of one. In my opinion, he is the best football player I have ever seen. He does it from the pocket as well anyone. He makes phenomenal plays on the move. Lastly, he does it with his legs when he needs to and he's not even considered fast. My view on Justin, on the same scale, with five being average, I give him a four. From the pocket, it's not even close and trust the most important part. On the move, Justin is an eight, with Mahomes being a ten. Running the ball, I'll give Justin a seven, mainly because he doesn't make good decisions with read option plays. People may think I'm overly critical, but it's just how I see it. As well as Josh Allen played last night, it was just not good enough. Josh Allen is an eight.

They can gather all the info they want through Kingsbury, but I don't want him as OC. His and Lincoln Riley's offensive style doesn't translate to the NFL.

Even though I've been critical of Justin, with him, I think we win eleven next year. Problem is, I don't think he takes us anywhere without a major improvement.

It truly doesn't matter how good of an NFL player they were. The fact that they made the NFL shows they were elite, on the scale of normal football players. What they say matters, IF. That's IF they have done their homework. These guys are looking at the whole league. They usually aren't fully in tune with the whole picture. They don't know what route tree the was called. Nor do they know if someone ran the wrong route. They don't know the progression order that was determined in practice. They don't know what blitz pickup or hot read was called. With this, you are making the same argument we've been making for Cutler, Trubisky and Fields for years. Bryce Young had shit for talent around him. When your go-to guy was cut from another mediocre team, you have major talent issues. Unless Young failed to do his film study or was a bad teammate, you absolutely cannot compare him to anyone yet. If we draft a QB this year, he will be entering a five star hotel, with a made bed and Swiss chocolate on the pillow. Bryce Young got thrown in a Motel 6 with bedbugs. Looking back at Aikman, he got murdered his first year in the league, but the foundation was firmly being laid. Dallas did it right.
