  1. I believe Bagent will be the backup. There's a guy out there that Purdy worked with that increased his velocity by 5 mph. If Bagent can increase his arm strength, he should be fine.
  2. Oh, forgot it was a top 10 topic.
  3. The stats are off. Look at TE You should compare player stats to teams % to go to Superbowl
  4. Sex sells! That's why the Honey Bears need to come back...
  5. So, this is the type of haul we could get by trading back. It would definitely be sick to get 9 picks in the first three rounds. A couple of the odd looking picks are Johnny Wilson and Beaux Limmer. I'm converting Wilson to TE and Limmer to OG. Limmer is an absolute freak athlete, who should make an excellent guard. F it, Bagent could make an eventual playoff run if we get this stacked. My official vote will come at the end of combine...
  6. We should get Kmet to start boning Shakira. Sure, she's in her 40's but wow! Then, the NFL would want a Taylor and Shakira showdown. Or Hodown...?
  7. Dude. Bosa was getting everything but ass raped in that game. It's all over the place. The only holding call they made all game is when a shirt was visibly pulled.

  9. He moves a little like Wilson, but his arm is quick and elite like Rodgers. I don't see Murray...

Context is always key. When you say, "so and so is the only option", you open yourself to scrutiny. When you say, "I think or I believe" it is opinion. You come off like what you say is how it will be. There is the rub. I'll never question your passion or knowledge. But, when you say MHJ is the only sure fire prospect, that's very very arguable. Respect is what it is, but when you speak in absolutes, there is the fight...

C'mon man. You know hero ball is going off script to make a play. Quit trying to change the narrative. He was the hero for making the plays, but it was HERO ball. Otherwise, Mecole Hardman was playing hero ball. If you don't understand context, please don't argue it with those that do.
  12. Why do you always do this to yourself? That statement is so arguable. I would easily put Bowers and the two tackles in that class.
  13. Yo Skip. News flash! ?
  14. The media disrespect continues. According to draft order, the bears finished 23rd ranked in the NFL. Not bad considering it was year two of a complete rebuild. We played the last half of theseason as a top fifteen team. Fast forward to the 2024 season and the preseason rankings have arrived. In comes The Athletic, ranking us at 24! As the slander and liable continues, please post rankings you find. I want to uproot this incompetence early, so we can nail them to it later.

That was not hero ball. Designed runs, plain and simple.
  16. I would ask Montez Sweat or Chicko.
  17. The free agent center market is good, so it may be the best option to get one there. That's only if he gets a legit starter. I might double dip on safeties but drafting one and signing a vet. I always thought Terrell Smith would be a good safety candidate due to his size. I would definitely draft a stud OG and WR.
  18. To start things off, great game last night! You can tell what a well built team looks like. Watching the game from our perspective, tells me that we are not ready yet. When it comes to conference championships and Superbowls, the defenses are amped up. The DB's become assassins and the pass rush is relentless. Our team needs became more clarifyed to me. And I didn't like it. Defensively, we need two more guys that can rush the passer as starters and one to be situational. We currently have one. After that, I'm good with the linebackers and secondary, as safeties are easy to find. On to the offense, OMG we need help. We have DJ Moore as our only stud. As we've all discussed, definite needs are C, OG and WR2. After seeing how loaded both teams were yesterday, the dilemma of what to do with the number one is wrecking my head right now. I can only imagine what Lord Poles is thinking...

    Super Bowl

They asked Bruce Arians what he looks for in a QB, he said "someone who is good in the two minute and scores in the 4th quarter".
  20. I watched that. Good interview.
  21. There it is. Justin in his fourth year is definitely better than a rookie. (Especially with the extra draft capital). Thing is, Justin doesn't get us over the hump like a more special passer. Year two, the special QB shows us why we made the hard choice. Justin already showed us he can't beat Love. Somebody has to...
