Jordan Mialata is 6'8 as well. If the hips dip and swivel, it's all good.- Senior Bowl
A couple of unheard-of names to look at. Gray Zabel and Hollin Pierce. Zabel was a tackle the senior bowl coaches moved inside and excelled at C and OG. Pierce is a monster at 6'8 with almost 37"arms.- Senior Bowl
This is a solid approach. Draft EDGE early and the IOL and DT's are deep to follow. If you have solid veterans and bring in studs to push them, it's the best of both worlds.- Senior Bowl
I was watching Walker today. In another thread, I mentioned he may this year's T'Vondre Sweat. Not close at all. He's terrible. Plays upright and slow as molasses. His stock is falling. However, there were four 3 techs that looked very promising. We'll have our chance at getting our fill of IOL and DT in this draft.- Reflection
It should have been Jim Harbaugh. And it absolutely could have been. I'll take a proven top five coach over Ben Johnson any day. I'm happy we ended up with Johnson, but he is far from a sure thing. Harbaugh was the sure thing and leadership didn't want him...- Dennis Allen named DC

Even though I would do a backflip, teams rarely, if ever, draft three OL. My guess is they'll sign and draft two each. After that, sign UDFA with crazy measurables.- It's Ben Johnson
Pace drafted Fields.- It's Ben Johnson
Our HC, GM and QB have been out of contract balance for how long? At least Jax is tied together with all three. Now, if Poles lasts three more years, we finally have the stability we have craved. As of now, we remain in the spin cycle until we prove otherwise.- It's Ben Johnson
It's not any different than what he's witnessed here. Sometime you gotta shoot your shot and go get paid.- Senior Bowl
Big dude for me last year was T'Vondre Sweat. I called him, Big Sweat. Absolute freak at the combine. Deone Walker looks the same so far...- Other news: Ian Cunningham moving on to 2nd round with Titans
I'd prefer the 3rd...- Bears request interview with Vikings defensive backs coach/passing game coordinator Daronte Jones
Interesting. Both coaches are DB and passing game. Never saw this coaching duty combo before...- Draft prospects
That's actually a smart play. This is a guard rich draft. His longevity could rub off with better conditioning techniques. His experience would help the young guys and OL coach...- Saints Dennis Allen is a likely DC
This crap has to be demeaning to black people. This token shit has to stop. Hire the best, period. That's what makes everyone better.- Draft prospects
You gotta think that way. Eventually, it will pay off.- It's Ben Johnson
"Be comfortable being uncomfortable". I loved it. It almost removed the vomit taste from him mentioning John insuring his style of offense.- It's Ben Johnson
Not sure we need a TE 2 either. What I would like is move TE. Cole can be inline 1 and new guy can be move 1. I'm still shitty we didn't get Bowers. They are the new slot receivers.- It's Ben Johnson
Authentic is the key. Players quickly disrespect leaders who are not genuine. Flus was genuinely nice, but failed to backup the foundation of his HITS principle.- It's Ben Johnson
Yes, called plays from the sideline. He's very energetic and demonstrative out there.- It's Ben Johnson
- Is Kingsbury now a better option than Johnson?
But you used the comment "he's a one read quarterback" many times to promote Caleb over him. You were, very much so, diminishing his perceived ability. You've also used terms like "locked on to his receiver". That is criticism of Daniels that is simply not true. I'm not trying to dog you, I think truth in context is very important in holding each other accountable. When people show me the error, I thank them.- It's Ben Johnson
I like the energy! https://www.facebook.com/share/r/1EZXmTsPPF/- Is Kingsbury now a better option than Johnson?
Understood. But, he's not a one read quarterback, according to Tony Romo and Kurt Warner. Romo commented that he witnessed him make five reads on a successful play. - Senior Bowl
