  1. Something else to consider. Was he named team captain? That will tell you a lot. And yes, he was.
  2. I don't see it that way. Nobody wants to come coach for a complete rebuild. Getsy paid a price.
  3. There's a right tackle that's killing it too. I forget his name. Samoan dude. Darnell Wright clone.
  4. I'm good with Ridley, but that has to be the beginning. We need a move TE and a solid two...
  5. Something I greatly fear is that the family gets involved. Keeping Justin Fields is the sure thing for getting back to the playoffs. Mikey and his Harvard business degree love a team that produces sell outs, swag sales and lots of concessions. It's in the business model. Rookie QBs will generate buzz, with potential greatness. Nothing feeds the coffers like a playoff game or two.
  6. Roman Wilson is a problem! He's putting dudes in a blender...
  7. But but but Skip. You forgot Sam Howell. At his advanced age Mack Brown isn't running anything. Maye has those numbers with two OC's in his last two years. Call it delusional. I got a vibe... As far as stats go, defenses started playing seven and eight off the ball to diminish the deep passing game, so Drake beat them underneath. Maturity...
  8. I've said it many times, Drake Maye is our guy. Drake F'n Maye! The momentum is building. Tim Hassellbeck and Dan Orlovsky are the latest. The was also a video I watched where a group of NFL executives where talking about generational QBs and they said, "out of the last four years, they have seen three. Lawrence, Williams and Maye." I also watched an SC interview with Maye before the season. All the dude does is compete. It doesn't matter if it's with Sam Howell or his brothers and Dad. He doesn't care if it's golf or pickleball. He's made for the moment and it won't be too big for him. Eat it Grizz!
  9. One guy I want to watch play is Xavier Leggette got the AJ Brown juice...
  10. Agreed. He was also injured a good portion of the season. That may have affected how Flus used him.
  11. We only have one worth that kind of money???
  12. The big Sweat is a monster. I'm thinking down the road...
  13. Nobody needs to hash anything out. We're all brothers here. Y'all are my Dawgs...
  14. One thing I've noticed this season is that we need a high end "move" TE. They seem to make X Factor plays every game. Another thing is, it doesn't matter how good your defense is, you have to be able to get the QB off his mark with some sort of pass rush. If we use a top pick on QB, can we fill the needs? OC, G, 3T, RDE, TE, WR and S. In bold, we need difference makers now. Here's an edit, with a draft to correspond our needs. I traded a few times to get as many early picks as possible. We can still get a swing tackle, WR, OG and experienced center in free agency. I don't trust either of our starting guards, so depth is needed at OG. Plus, I got 2 extra ones for next year!
  15. I've always been straight with you. If YOU remember, I told you Grizz was a master of debate. So, if you are that sensitive or think that things are about you, when in fact not, I truly don't know what to say.
  16. Damn, you're sensitive. I wasn't referring to you. He's knows what meant, from our prior debates. He knows he's an antagonist and likes it. Why am I hearing Carly Simon now?
  17. I swear if anyone could teabag sometime from a keyboard, it would be you...??
  18. Since most all GM's and/or owners do it, how can you single out only one? Sorry brother, but THAT is inane. I've actually never used the word, but you did it so much it amused me.
  19. This is bullshit. Old bullshit. The hugging and high fiving go on with every team. You've been given multiple examples of it happening and you continue with the inane. Whether you realize it or not the GM is part of the team. Why wouldn't he want to share his joy with his team. It's a business he and Justin fully understand. Insinuating Poles is compromised because of a hug is utterly ridiculous.
  20. For starters, yes, we need a defensive coordinator. Flus can't continue to spread himself as thin as he did last year. To the point of Flus calling the defense. Who cares, sad long as it works? He only stated that he likes calling the D and it would depend on who he hired. Whether the coordinator calls the plays or not, he still has a ton of work to do. If it were a McCaskey thing, they would have saved the money and not filled the position. This is clearly about building the best staff possible.
