  1. Kyle Brandt just called out one of the Bears players, saying he looked like he didn't want to be there. He said it was obvious and it was a player we all know. He wouldn't name a name, but said the player may not be on the team tomorrow. Brandt doesn't go that far, unless he really sees something. My signal was really really poor yesterday due to steaming, because of Direct TV dispute with the mayor networks. Who is the player? I'm only guessing Claypool or Jackson...
  2. That meme hurt me too. Kicking sand in your face would've been me, personally, telling you "I told you so", while laughing. We all handle losing in different ways. The good athletes turn the rage and hurt into fuel. I expect next Sunday to be a rage fest, win or lose...
  3. If you are calling me out, so be it. Character is not required to be a fan of any sport. The Bears were completely dominated today. Was is out of arrogance or entitlement? Not really. My thought is that they relaxed with the departure of Rodgers and took all of our additions for granted. A come to Jesus week is upon us. Shitty day for the beloved...
  4. I'm drinking now, so riddle me this. We get the first two picks and trade them for a ransom, because this is a deep QB and WR class. Parlay the top two into 6 picks in the first three rounds, plus two firsts the next year. Blah
  5. It's Fields. If it's a downfield pass, he waits too long and either takes a sack or runs. For some reason he doesn't have the coincidence or trust to let it rip. He has the worst rhythm of any starting quarterback I have ever seen. (No exaggeration) Folks can blame the OL all they want. It's Fields...
  6. I don't think he'll be here if he's not good enough to get that contract in two years.
  7. It's Packer week!!!!! https://www.facebook.com/reel/840271004073328?mibextid=UT8rzV
  8. Man, the balls on Dan Campbell...
  9. Here's one from The Athletic that discusses our roster from three scouts' perspectives. https://theathletic.com/4838561/2023/09/07/bears-2023-roster-scouting-report?source=user-shared-article
  10. Davis is a concern. Talk out of Tennessee is that Vrabel "hates" Nate Davis the football player and was glad to see him go. Money was not the reason, because they signed his replacement to a similar contract. It had also been said, that he will not suit up unless he is 100%. As a whole, I'm extremely concerned about our OL. At the end of the draft weekend, I thought we were mostly covered with the drafting of Darnell Wright the prior signing of Nate Davis. So, now we have Wright dealing with an ongoing ankle issue as a rookie. Davis had one padded practice the entire of season. Patrick is oft injured and not our first choice at center. Cody has a brace on his right hand and replaced Jenkins, who I am on record with not trusting to be a professional. Lastly, Jones is the only Iron man for the second year in a row. 80% of our OL is starting the season below optimal health and continuity. Fu@k!
  11. Everyone should be sleeping on Fields until he shows that he can get rid of the ball. People compare him to Lamar, but Lamar has never hesitated to pull the trigger or run. Fields needs to cut the sacks and batted balls in half this season.
  12. I think Flus and Poles are safe regardless of Fields. You can't develop what can't be developed.

    2023 Schedule

It's weird. The only other times I can remember this happening were after our two Superbowl appearances. One repeat chance ended with a Charles Martin body slam, while the other eroded away with "Rex Grossman is our quarterback". This time around, we'll get to root for up and coming players.
  14. Unveil the player please...

    Tyson Bagent

Thought y'all would like this. And yes, it includes some deep throws.

    2023 Schedule

As they should. I think every game, in our schedule, except two are winnable.
  17. He can stay on the bench until someone gets injured. That may open his eyes a little further than two years ago did. I'm not his doctor, but if there is a chance that him being hurt plays into his conditioning, maybe he'll take it more seriously. If he is putting in the needed work and it's simply injury prone, time to move on.
  18. Damn, you gotta story to tell. Glad you are ok brother!
  19. You can also list players that in the same position upgraded, due to being young and improving. QB, LT, SS, RB, nickel and swing tackle.
