The crazy part about that play was that defensive coaches were yelling at the players to get up and cover. Flus got lost in the moment and went home with three timeouts in his pocket. That's why he's incompetent.

One thing I heard is that he'll be in the booth. I believe that the best place for an OC. They get a better field view and don't have to deal with the emotion/chaos of the sideline, plus their assistants are easier to converse with in the booth. Sometimes adjustments and creativity come from collaboration.

Under normal circumstances, if Flus goes, Poles must go too. We've already created a situation where Caleb is working with his second coordinator. Do we want a new coach and OC next year, with a lame duck GM? To pull off hiring a new HC and OC, they either fire or extend Poles. Otherwise, the ship is rudderless.

I think the team will respond. Davis' tone is very different from Waldron. It's actually disturbing to hear a coach described as too nice. Even worse, Flus is that nice guy too. Every team needs a couple ramrod coaches and players. Who are ours?

Until the McCaskey's show that they are willing to hire a known bastard as a head coach this franchise is doomed...

We are sitting at 17. My guess is we'll finish with 6, maybe 7 wins. That should put us in the 8-11 draft slot.

I don't think it can be completely fixed. What I do believe is Flus has lost the team. That being said, getting sometime else to call the shots could energize the team. We don't have the OL to have a winning roster, so effort and execution must be maximized just to break even. Booting him now should show the players that soft and incompetent will not be accepted.

Until the McCaskey family completely steps away, the song will remain the same. They literally breed apathy. Perfect boring apathy. Nobody does it better.

Flus needs fired today. The team has stopped playing for him. Firing a coordinator doesn't cure the sickness. Flus is soft in weekly prep and an in-game detriment. If it were just the offense that looked uninspired the last few weeks, I would be inclined to fire Waldron instead. It's not the case.

From what I see, DJ came back to help and Caleb wasn't in position to pull the trigger. DJ walked off like a petty bitch. If he was remotely engaged in the play, he would have at least turned to watch.

Kmet should be targeted at minimum 6 times per game. It's kinda hard when he's either inline blocking or the deepest target. Water is dry and fire is cold...

I'm with you. They keep sending him on deep outs and seam routes. He needs to be doing short crossers and curls and with occasional seams. It's just disjointed.
