  1. Lord Poles was in the booth taking to Thayer and Joniak and seemed to really like Bagent. He also spoke very highly of Dexter, Stevenson and Pickens.
  2. They have the least expensive QB's in the league. They can clown how they want to clown for the next 3 years. But, all those picks would be nasty. It's Lynch's curse for screwing us over...?
  3. I really like Bagent. Fun fact: his dad is the GOAT of professional arm wrestling, ambidextrously...
  4. I looked into the YouTube tv thing. It's streaming and I live on the country with a low MBPS internet service. It's 70 dollars per month plus the cost of Sunday Ticket. I think the NFL and YouTube screwed us on this one. It worked perfectly fine with DirectTV
  5. They talked a lot about that yesterday on ESPN1000. I think it's a bad idea to give up a first rounder for a29 year old DT, especially when we just drafted two promising rookies. Hopefully, he's just sniffing around to gauge the price. Depending on Justin, we may need that extra 1st round pick badly.
  6. I think he was just kidding. Given what the world has gone through the last few years, we've all come to understand that we were lied to by those we elected and hired to lead. I'm simply glad we're all here to bust balls and plan the future of our beloved Bears.
  7. I'm not seeing todays game televised anywhere. Any suggestions are greatly appreciated...
  8. I don't care how strong Bagent's arm is. As long as he can run the offense efficiently, nothing else matters. If he proves to be outstanding at running our offense, it will be nothing but a plus. There are many weak armed SB champion and HOF QB's out there to reference.
  9. Here's another point to ponder. Jurko just said that he's only heard of one player EVER to have two calf injuries at the same time. It was Guy McIntire, formerly of the Niners and Packers. He was prescribed to miss exactly six weeks due to blood clots in his lower legs. He was prescribed Coumadin to dissolve the clots, which is the reason for that amount of time. I've read about many cases of people getting blood clots and having mysterious heart conditions after taking the covid vaccine. This is all conjecture, but food for thought.
  10. If he did it lifting, it would have to be some type of accident. I can't a player maxing out and placing themselves at risk during a recovery workout. I did see Flus's presser from yesterday. In it, he stated that Jenkins is week to week. Hopefully, next Wednesday he'll say day to day. He had no elaboration on how the injury occurred, but it wasn't during practice...
  11. Great find Stinger! Big props to Flus...
  12. Ever since you posted this, I've been perplexed and simply can't shake it. Not only have I never heard such a thing, I can't fathom how it could even occur. Add in that's it's a strain that lasts 4 to 6 weeks. And he finished practice! When have we ever seen Jenkins, nut up and finish practice dinged up? Here I go getting these crazy conspiracies in my head again. This dude drives me nuts.
  13. Just heard that Wright is injured and getting an MRI tonight. Geesh...
  14. I've given my fair share of crap to Claypool and Jackson. Jaylon Johnson was drafted defective. It just seems like one thing after another with Jenkins.
  15. I've never trusted Jenkins. He's a beast on the field, but...
  16. Leatherwood's technique is so lazy. I can't believe he won the Outland trophy. Way too much leaning and not enough foot and punch energy.
  17. I called in to the Waddle and Silvey show today to talk about Bagent. I made a case for him to be the number 2 based on the poise and execution. The reasoning for why, was that he has the best chance to make Justin better, because what he does best is what Justin does worst. It would give Justin a chance to see it more if Bagent was getting the #2 reps. To my shock, Waddle called my comment "astute". Bagent has been a winner everywhere he's been. He was also getting recruited through the transfer portal and turned it down to finish his career at the school that gave him the chance. He ended up throwing for over 17000 yards and was the Division II Athlete of the Year.
  18. After revisiting Saturday's game, I went from saying Bagent looked good, too now saying he looked really good. The kid has won everywhere he's been. There are knocks on his arm and footwork on the scouting sites, but I saw none of it. His release is very fast and Saturday he was pinpoint accurate. I'd like to see him early in the last pre season game to gauge how he looks against starters. As of now, his debut looked Brock Purdy-esque.
  19. Agreed. The patient style is there. After that, it's quick feet and violence.
  20. A few notes from the Colts game. Pickens, Johnson and Dexter are legit. I love the way Pickens plays low and scrapes down the line. He's in every play almost. Johnson was so patient with his runs, then boom.he runs like a seasoned vet. Dexter will not not be moved. If I ever see him moved backwards, it will take three people. He is bull strong. It was also good to see him in the Colts backfield a lot tonight.
