  1. I would ask Montez Sweat or Chicko.
  2. The free agent center market is good, so it may be the best option to get one there. That's only if he gets a legit starter. I might double dip on safeties but drafting one and signing a vet. I always thought Terrell Smith would be a good safety candidate due to his size. I would definitely draft a stud OG and WR.
  3. To start things off, great game last night! You can tell what a well built team looks like. Watching the game from our perspective, tells me that we are not ready yet. When it comes to conference championships and Superbowls, the defenses are amped up. The DB's become assassins and the pass rush is relentless. Our team needs became more clarifyed to me. And I didn't like it. Defensively, we need two more guys that can rush the passer as starters and one to be situational. We currently have one. After that, I'm good with the linebackers and secondary, as safeties are easy to find. On to the offense, OMG we need help. We have DJ Moore as our only stud. As we've all discussed, definite needs are C, OG and WR2. After seeing how loaded both teams were yesterday, the dilemma of what to do with the number one is wrecking my head right now. I can only imagine what Lord Poles is thinking...

    Super Bowl

They asked Bruce Arians what he looks for in a QB, he said "someone who is good in the two minute and scores in the 4th quarter".
  5. I watched that. Good interview.
  6. There it is. Justin in his fourth year is definitely better than a rookie. (Especially with the extra draft capital). Thing is, Justin doesn't get us over the hump like a more special passer. Year two, the special QB shows us why we made the hard choice. Justin already showed us he can't beat Love. Somebody has to...
  7. It's funny. I watched a video today, where Stephen A, Shannon Sharp and "the experts" were killing KC for moving up to draft by Mahomes. One of the experts said he had non-existent footwork and that Big 12 QB's don't translate to the NFL. I do trust Poles though. Going into year three, gives me hope for to his track record so far. This will be the biggie of all biggies.
  8. We have a week schedule. We will also improve as a team. Football 101
  9. This where we differ. I don't believe Flus is a lame duck. And the OL is almost there. What's really crazy, is that I think we win 11 with keeping Justin and 10 with Williams or Maye. 2025 ⚡???
  10. He's bad. I don't think he'll make to August. He's down to one lung and only move his eyes.
  11. I believe anything we hear from Halas Hall is propaganda to help our cause.
  12. That's a good one. With the pick we get for Justin, draft the best OL you can get.
  13. I can only hope. I called Carmen and Jurko to ask, who was Mongo first? They couldn't define, so I call a tie. He was always be the greatest Mongo.
  14. But Skip! At the end of the day, he said get rid of Fields. C'mon Skip. I went back to Steven A for this...?
  15. What was your original answer?
  16. I wonder if Jenkins asked for this, thinking he's still a tackle.
  17. I'd rather have the eighth pick in front them. More trade value and one pick closer to Bowers.
  18. What is the keep Justin, trade with Patriots at 3 look like? MHJ at 3, 32, 68 and next year's first rounder.(from NE). Plus our picks That might be nasty, because the Patriots play in a tough division and need retooled. I would feel confident we'd get another top five pick.
  19. It's weird that their QBR is so far apart. I like Sanders. He'll be one of the top QBs next year.
  20. You could add the value of trading for the number three in the keep Justin part.
  21. Yet it dominated the news today. It was on Greeney, Kap and J Hood and Carmen and Jurko.
  22. Money is not a problem, yet. The minute you overpay Fields, it compromises the ability to retain other players. If you pay Mahomes, he makes up for it with his greatness. If you pay Justin, he will need to do the same or it's a flatline. It may not be that way ?, but percentages say it is. I'm not going to the casino with that mindset.
  23. Kmet is a pure inline TE. He doesn't have the lateral agility and separation quickness. Bowers has the ability to line up in the backfield, slot abd wide. He's not an online blocker, but is a great blocker with LB's and DB's, due to his willingness, technique and lateral quickness. How many times have we seen a YAC opportunity for Kmet and his change of direction was summit not there. Dude is a diesel though. I honestly believe a guy like Bowers, frees Kmet up more. I'm good with Moore getting 100 catches, with Bowers and Kmet getting 100 total. After that, our number two receiver can get 50-70 and we have a squad.
  24. This, I can get behind. There is an element that may attract him to a team. Potential suiters could be someone that really thinks that Justin has been used incorrectly. (Like a lot here think). Or that they can fix him. (Same). Or they feel they have the talent to support him. (Same). There are coaches and GM's that have the arrogance to think they can do something that the other guy can't. There are also coaches and GM's that are stuck in the mud. (Belichick for example). There are also owners that get in the way. (Jones, Tepper, Bidwell, Brown and the McCaskey's) I've seen some weird stuff over the years. But, you are probably correct that he doesn't go to 15. I was even thinking 20-32 area.
