  1. It should have been Jim Harbaugh. And it absolutely could have been. I'll take a proven top five coach over Ben Johnson any day. I'm happy we ended up with Johnson, but he is far from a sure thing. Harbaugh was the sure thing and leadership didn't want him...
  2. Even though I would do a backflip, teams rarely, if ever, draft three OL. My guess is they'll sign and draft two each. After that, sign UDFA with crazy measurables.
  3. Our HC, GM and QB have been out of contract balance for how long? At least Jax is tied together with all three. Now, if Poles lasts three more years, we finally have the stability we have craved. As of now, we remain in the spin cycle until we prove otherwise.
  4. It's not any different than what he's witnessed here. Sometime you gotta shoot your shot and go get paid.

Big dude for me last year was T'Vondre Sweat. I called him, Big Sweat. Absolute freak at the combine. Deone Walker looks the same so far...
  6. Interesting. Both coaches are DB and passing game. Never saw this coaching duty combo before...
  7. That's actually a smart play. This is a guard rich draft. His longevity could rub off with better conditioning techniques. His experience would help the young guys and OL coach...
  8. This crap has to be demeaning to black people. This token shit has to stop. Hire the best, period. That's what makes everyone better.
  9. You gotta think that way. Eventually, it will pay off.
  10. "Be comfortable being uncomfortable". I loved it. It almost removed the vomit taste from him mentioning John insuring his style of offense.
  11. Not sure we need a TE 2 either. What I would like is move TE. Cole can be inline 1 and new guy can be move 1. I'm still shitty we didn't get Bowers. They are the new slot receivers.
  12. Authentic is the key. Players quickly disrespect leaders who are not genuine. Flus was genuinely nice, but failed to backup the foundation of his HITS principle.
  13. Yes, called plays from the sideline. He's very energetic and demonstrative out there.
  14. But you used the comment "he's a one read quarterback" many times to promote Caleb over him. You were, very much so, diminishing his perceived ability. You've also used terms like "locked on to his receiver". That is criticism of Daniels that is simply not true. I'm not trying to dog you, I think truth in context is very important in holding each other accountable. When people show me the error, I thank them.
  15. I like the energy! https://www.facebook.com/share/r/1EZXmTsPPF/
  16. Understood. But, he's not a one read quarterback, according to Tony Romo and Kurt Warner. Romo commented that he witnessed him make five reads on a successful play.
  17. I would personally love it if they hired Fraley as our OC. All pro center who coached an all pro center. Gimme Dennis Allen too.
  18. Watch a pro break down Daniels like we watch with Caleb. Daniels is not a one read QB. Weather it's inside out or outside in, he's splitting the difference quickly on his reads. Daniels is special with his poise, accuracy, release, touch, mobility and IQ. Caleb can be that guy too if he improves his time, accuracy and touch.
  19. 💯! We need those dogs. Enough the the nice shit. I want guys playing on the edge of criminality every play.
  20. There's definitely work to be done. I feel confident we can get the pieces we need this year. The main thing our team needs to aquire is mental toughness. That doesn't come easily. We didn't handle adversity well this year. So, this coming year we can begin the learning to overcome adversity process. The following year, will be the year we can contend because our resolve should be there. If it's not, we won't succeed.
  21. When he signs, I'm all in. So glad it's a top candidate. Bear down!
