  1. I couldn't find a ticket, but I'll be at the game...??
  2. Proverbs 27:17 proclaims: “As iron sharpens iron, so one person sharpens another”. This simple statement has been a calling for all these years to understand that no one is alone. That in order to make yourself better, there is a mutual benefit making others better through mentorship, follower-ship, and leading.
  3. I'm kicking myself right now. I live 25 minutes from Colts camp and I failed to look into getting tickets for the scrimmages. They are free too. Time to hit my contacts...
  4. Swifty saw the same thing I did, after review. He did a good job showing the angle of his back. One thing he failed to objectively observe was that Dexter was, indeed, slow off the snap. He looks to be reading, as he was taught in college. IMO, that's not a bad thing, as long he adjusts. I'm also not overly concerned about the pad level yet, as he only needs to drop a couple of inches. Are 6'6 he is always going to be a little higher and that is ok of his leverage and strength is hard to deal with. He has been compared to Jalen Carter on this site. Carter is different on the next level.
  5. After thinking about it, I don't think Velus makes the 53. His football instincts just aren't there.
  6. I think pre season is important to develop brain mapping and muscle memory against different athletes.
  7. This is from The Athletic. Looks spot on... https://theathletic.com/4772928/2023/08/14/chicago-bears-roster-projection?source=user-shared-article
  8. Wow, I'm a sarcastic bastard and he fooled me. Getting old I guess...?
  9. This guy is taking a gamble on his reputation.
  10. They were constantly switching back and forth, so it would be easy to do.
  11. Good summary with one correction. Pickens got the sack you credited Dexter with.
  12. Velus doesn't seem to be a natural football player. Great size and speed combo, no feel for the game.
  13. At the half, Trevis Gipson is the player of the game. Loved what I saw from Gordon, Stevenson, Pickens, Lewis, Sewell, Herbert, Moore and Fields. I'll evaluate the OL play tomorrow. Bear down!
  14. The rookies are playing well. Stephenson, Dexter, Pickens and Wright will be starters. Sewell and Johnson will see significant time.
  15. Gipson was grossly held, robbing him of a sack.
  16. Dexter and Pickens changed the whole dynamic of the D.
  17. Meanwhile, Jordan Love looked good yesterday...?
  18. Dexter was always going to be a 3T. He's a bigger Deforest Buckner and Richard Seymour. All are 6'6. Dexter just has 20# on them. Nasty....
  19. If you sign up with Verizon internet, they are offering Sunday Ticket on YouTube for free. I'm going in tomorrow to get the details.
  20. Oh yea, he was in the league a long time...
  21. Watching NFL Network today. Brian Baldinger is there. He was saying that pre-draft Darnell Wright was his number one tackle prospect. He raved about how heavy handed he is and that he's just a naturally big thick dude.
  22. He actually kept his family here while he played in SF. He's really good on the radio. He's on with Waddle and Silvey on Friday afternoon.
  23. Robbie Gould is doing work at ESPN 1000 and says he's ready whenever called. He wants to finish raising his family here.
  24. That's important, especially with trust. Justin can let it rip sooner if he trusts his target.
