  1. You are correct. We needed OL. We should have drafted more...
  2. Monken is Kap's pick. He's been a college HC and a Chicago native.
  3. Carter makes more of a difference. Yes, Carter was gassed at the end of the game, but his snap count was also high and with the Rams running a no huddle. The big DL boys get tired under those circumstances, especially when they can't get subbed out for a breather.
  4. Carter is the better player, but we got the better value.
  5. Caleb does need to get it out quicker. Better scheme will get the first read open more often. It's tough when when your LT is getting dog walked as your center whiffs on a delayed stunt.
  6. Washington faces a team decimated with injuries on the defensive side of the ball. I've not seen a team hold on so long with 13 defenders on season ending IR. On top of that, they have a DB break an arm early in the game. End of day, Lucky said it right. Goff had a terrible game. Johnson had nothing to do with the loss.
  7. He'll definitely give you all he has to give.
  8. Moore showed his ass before the trade deadline and I would have sent him packing then. Regardless of how talented a player is, the tail doesn't wag the dog. Same with Edmunds. They both can go.
  9. At this point, if we don't get McCarthy, Carroll or Johnson there is going to be a mutiny of epic proportions. Players and fans will know that this franchise is eternally f'd up.
  10. Just watched Aaron Rodgers on the Pat McAfee show. He talked glowingly about Mike McCarthy in several ways. Leadership, development, accountability, innovation and collaboration...
  11. I always felt that way, but couldn't find a way to articulate it as well as you did.
  12. Caleb was on the St Brown Brothers podcast. He said he wants a leader of men, offensive guru and someone that matches his aggressive nature. Near the end he all but said he wanted Ben.
  13. I was pissed. Same thing a few years later with Arians.
  14. Nagy was never the driving force of KC's offense. Still isn't...
  15. The longer we wait, the less coveted our job will be. Interviewing so many people is just ridiculous.
  16. The problem I've seen with coaches following "high personality guys" is that the second act doesn't play the same. Vrabel is the only one from the Belichick tree to break through. Flores tried to be a dick like Bill and failed. Who off the Reid tree can match match his goofy swag? Who off of either Harbaugh brothers tree is there? Tomlin tree is non-existent. The only trees we hear about today is shamanism Shanahan and McVey. It was a lot of blah blah to get here, but if we hire Ben Johnson, there is no way we can imagine him having that monster personality of Dan Campbell. Can he learn fatherly lessons? Yes. Johnson will just have to do it his authentic way or it will come off disingenuous.
  17. I think it comes down to the OMG plays. Carter has them and Dexter doesn't. Carter seems to be much more explosive. Dexter is a big strong effort guy.
  18. I don't believe that at all. If he believes what we all believe, that George meddles, I would hesitate. There are monetary, personnel and power dynamics as well. He has Cinderellas slipper right now...
  19. My best friend's are Steelers fans. They both think his time has come but...
  20. He signed an extension recently. I think we'd have to trade for him.
  21. I heard they are interviewing the regional sales rep from Gatorade next. NFL record for interviews...🤮
  22. I think Brady will buffer the crazy out of Davis.
  23. Vrabel to Pats. Bears hibernating...
  24. Andy Reid recommended Nagy. Wanna swordfight...🤔
  25. Self deprecating humor aside, I am changing my coaching preference. I'm down to three coaches only. The only criteria for these choices are experience, success and culture. That eliminates Johnson. Vrabel-he's the front runner to get the Patriots gig. Add that Georgie it's probably afraid of him. Carroll - one of his personnel said Pete is a guy that makes everyone believe they are a huge piece of the puzzle. Gets maximum buy-in and effort out of everyone. McCarthy - I consider him because he knows how to build a culture and run a camp. Here's my choice, if all I hear is true. Pete Carroll evidently proposed to the Bears that he has a three year plan, while setting the culture and grooming a replacement. The replacement candidate would coordinate and be assistant HC. I can see our set of leaders doing a circke jerk with reach around with this thought process. I like it too. If the right guy is groomed.(Johnson anyone?). Pun intended...😝
