  1. Grizz, he had full arm extension. That is precisely what the refs are looking for. I will say it was a very athletic comeback for such a big athlete, but it was undoubtedly a push off.
  2. Velus was out there when they said Scott was different, so my guess is that Scott is elite fast/game speed fast.
  3. Jurko and Courtney Cronin were talking about Tyler Scott being a special type of fast. It really stands out...
  4. He's getting a push off flag on game day.

    Pace vs Lynch

Lynch fleeced Pace. He's paying the price for being a dick. Lynch is still greater guy default.
  6. That's what the smart money says. Edge is a premier position and we still need two studs to have a contending D. It would be wonderful if a current guy emerges. I'm already hearing QB and WR are deep in next year's draft class. Hopefully, edge is in that category too...
  7. That would be great to see all three to contend. Marvin Harrison Jr will out there, but it would be nice not to need him in case trade scenarios are out there to make us better.
  8. He says all the right things, but doesn't sell it with me. Don't ask me why, because it's just a feeling I get.
  9. Perfect contract for the Bears locking in a core for 4 years at a value price. Also, Kmet gets to sign another contract before the age of 30, which adds millions more to his future. Mooney and Johnson next...
  10. Poles was gushing over Darnell Wright, saying he's lost body fat and passed the conditioning test without breaking a sweat.
  11. Love it! Unfortunately, two third round picks speak otherwise.
  12. It actually surprised me to see him placed on PUP, given that he was in Florida working with Fields. That's why I said that Fields would be the one to judge his desire. The Bears did not need to place him on the PUP, especially two days before he was required to be there. That was, IMO, a ploy. It's well documented how much Claypool loves his social media. What better way to provide a good towel snap, than to set his Insta on fire with fan opinion. I will also reference when my best friend spent a week are Steelers camp last year, when they brought in Ryan Clark and Brandon Marshall to work with him. When all that effort leads to a trade, there is plenty of smoke to think there is some underlying fire. I will stay on Claypool's side, as far as rooting for him to succeed is concerned, but will leave him in the doghouse until he fights himself out. Jenkins fought his way out on the mental side, but is still a question on how he prepares his body. This camp will get Tev out, while Chase has the same chance. In the meantime, Steelers fans are celebrating the trade and the drafting of Joey Porter Jr. More to come...
  13. Listening to ESPN1000 today, they brought up a report from Silvey, a couple months ago, that claimed several sources from Halas Hall say that Claypool does not prioritize football. He can still create his own narrative, but he has to work against his reputation and for himself now. I believe it's to the point where he earns a two or three role as a starter or simply gets cut. They aren't going to put up with half assed with an up and coming team.
  14. To clarify my statement from yesterday, because it can be taken wrong. What I want to see is a world where people walk through it colorblind when it comes to viewing people. Experience, education, skill and character should be the underlying qualification for advancement of any kind, not the good ol boys club.
  15. I truly hope that the mention of color does not exist before I breathe for the final time...

    Ray of Hope

Amen to that. I remember 1984 and attending IU. I talked so much Bears smack and got owned by the Redskins. Next year was a different story...??

    Edge

He could be a good bargaining chip at trade deadline.
  18. Fields and the other receivers already know if Claypool has put in respectable effort or not. If it's bullshit, Fields will make sure he gets his come-uppins. It's come to the point where it is messing with other people's money.
  19. They can say what they want. He throws and runs better than Jackson and Hurts, who are deemed superstars. All Justin needs to do is execute better.
  20. We know what we have cooking. It's just hard to temper expectations when you can see the light at the end of the tunnel. We're still about 5 pieces away and they may already be on the team...
  21. I gotta stop watching this stuff or I'm gonna think we are doing something good...?
