  1. After watching bowl games Anderson is the guy if we stay put. I saw a play where he split a tackle guard double team and it didn't look like they slowed him down. Loved the contact explosiveness. The result of the play was an INT. If your interior rushers aren't dominant, you need Anderson to help shrewd that OL out to make room.
  2. 1, 2, and both 3t shocked the hell outta me. I also thought the Raiders would be much better than they were.
  3. Every mock draft I've attempted has involved at least two trade downs for extra picks. We literally need 7 new bodies to upgrade both fronts.
  4. Just saw a clip where Getsy was talking to him and Justin wouldn't look at him. Don't like it...
  5. I'm weary of watching Montgomery up the middle, then second and third down is all on Justin. Run some damn out routes to the 6'4 recievers. Lastly, WTF was that last play? Not one reciever ran to the end zone from the 50...
  6. He's going to shorten his career if he doesn't get the ball outta his hands. Aside from running he is playing terrible.
  7. Harrison is ridiculous. ESB and Harry would break a leg trying to cut like he does.
  8. Just saw my guy Quinton Johnston mage a huge play.
  9. He'll probably go top 5, depending on the rest of the class.
  10. I highly doubt Poles will go in big for a player unless he sees them here and productive for at least four years.
  11. After seeing more of him this morning, I'm really looking Marvin Harrison junior. Dude is upgraded clone of his old man. Three inches taller and faster. Exact same body shape and outstanding route runners with great separation. They had to accentuate/alter the NFL rules from the way New England played against Sr in attempts to stop him. He's my 2024 guy.
  12. When you factor in the hit they are going to take for Carr, adding Adams to that would be huge.
  13. Mustipher is terrible. We are on year three of him not being able to perform a switch off. Either every QB he's played with can't call a protection scheme or it's him. One of the most ill used comments I hear is, "the best ability is availability". I've watched three years of him being available and think it's only because there is nothing left in the cupboard.

I was just talking to a buddy about some of the bowl names. Big daddy bowl, mayo bowl and Tony the Tiger Bowl. WTH...?
  15. I've never seen where Poles was in on Wilson. Wasn't that a Pace thing?
  16. What would we be saying about Fields if he didn't emerge as a running phenom? Would we be beaming about his improvement in the passing game? I still see that he's slow to read, slow release and throws from a low arm slot. I also see an improved release time and quicker reads. What I'm deeply concerned about is his inability to work the middle of the field. Fields made his bones in college as a pocket passer and certainly believe his progress has been slow to get back to that. I also don't mind him running 8-10 times a game. So far, he's not taken any bad hits on designed runs. He'll also continue to see stacked boxes until he can make a defense pay consistently. Once he learns to put the safeties on notice, our Superbowl window opens.
  17. Poles measured the value of getting a WR in FA and found it lacking. A second rounder for a developed secund rounder is a good gamble, while being technically feasible. I've stated many times how important a go to reciever is in today's game. Poles has had a look into what we may get from Claypool. That look may lead him to Quenton Johnston.
  18. Kinda cool rooting for Lovie again. As much as I hate losing, sitting at the top of the draft could be lucrative.
  19. Yes, Quenton Johnston. If they like him that would be great. I watched video and read a good scouting report on the The Athletic. He's a Christian Watson that runs good routes with excellent hands.
  20. I'm simply fixated on three positions this off season. Number one type reciever, OL and DL. I'm not convinced that Fields skillset is good enough to overcome the lack of a true number one and the fronts. My tagline at the old site was, "It all starts up front". I still believe that to be true after all these years. There is only one chance at a number one this year, and it's through the draft. (Unless an unforeseen trade occurs) The front lines can be made solid through FA, trade and the draft. If we land at the 2 spot, I think we can get our number one and have the draft clout to stock it up front.
  21. Jeudy would be perfect if Claypool emerges. I don't have faith in ESB and Harry to amount to anything but a good blocker. It was very nice to see Jones track that ball yesterday. After that, I like Mooney and Pettis. Mooney, Claypool, Jeudy, Jones, Pettis and two picks 23' and 24'.
