  1. It's lunacy. There's Vrabel, Johnson and Carroll and nobody else.
  2. Poles gave the list of the interview panel, pasted below. I have zero clue how they say Poles will have the final say, when Warren would not endorse Poles when asked if the potential coach wanted his own GM. It was almost like the "Rex is our QB moment". Bears GM Ryan Poles said that he “will lead a six-person interview panel” as the team works to hire a new coach, according to Jason Lieser of the CHICAGO SUN-TIMES. The panel will consist of Poles -- who will have “final say on the coach” -- President Kevin Warren, Chair George McCaskey, Dir of Football Administration Matt Feinstein, Senior Player Personnel Dir Jeff King and EVP/People and Culture & Chief Human Resources Officer Liz Geist.
  3. Honestly, why would Vrabel consider going anywhere but New England? He and Kraft already have a great relationship and he's a legend in the organization. Vrabel knows there won't be meddling either. I'm still on the Ben Johnson, them Vrabel bandwagon. Another reason to like Johnson involves Sean McVay. McVay traded for Matt Stafford because he didn't think Goff could get him over the hump. Goff is every bit of a franchise quarterback under Johnson. I love that Johnson predicates his offense on play action. It's literally the quarterback's best friend. Johnson has a creative/innovative side on a level that most don't. For his offense to be as good as it is, there has to be discipline. He's not afraid to get rid of people either. His RB coach Duce Staley was a distraction, as seen on Hard Knocks. He was always talking smack with Aaron Glenn. Even though their running game was great, he was canned. I just have a gut feeling on this one.
  4. Please watch the press conferences from McCaskey, Warren and Poles. OMG George is such a buffoon. He literally started his presser by thanking Matt Eberflus. Listen to Poles when asked about pressure placed on Caleb. Add the fact that we are interviewing thirteen HC candidates, shows that George is still involved, regardless of what he says. Vrabel and Johnson have to be scratching their heads. There are guys on the list I've never heard of. I'm certainly scratching mine. Shit show is our floor, while mediocre is the ceiling, as long as it smells like George...
  5. I picked him in a mock last night. Last year, I was enamored by Tvondre Sweat. Watching a human his size move the way he did at the combine is amazing. For now, I'm just doing five round drafts.
  6. Why the holy hell are we interviewing 13 freaking people for the HC position? The real candidates must be shaking their heads. Not a good look. Just stupid...
  7. Yeah, he's the new Clouney or Ngakue
  8. I'd trade him for a wet diaper...
  9. Yup, it's like when Lawrence Taylor was late for the bus. The guy walking in with him got the ass chewing. One better is that Michael Jordan would purposely let the person walk on the bus before him and the dude would still get the ass chewing... Lol
  10. And their WR corps and oline were decimated this year.
  11. The indictment is because he was always behind. Lowest first quarter scoring in the NFL. It wasn't the defense.
  12. That's more of an indictment than a positive argument.
  13. Wow! Shows how good the North is. Odds say we should be 2-0 vs Pack, 1-1 vs Queens and 1-1 vs Lions. Glad Eberf@#k is gone...
  14. Twice on Sunday, baby! Yes
  15. He's shown me way more ability to get it done than anyone we've ever had. The big keys for next year will be deep ball accuracy and release time. He's gonna have to cut sacks in half. He can help his OL grow into it by being quicker.
  16. Fun fact. The last time we beat the Packers, 11 games ago, the score was 24-22 at Lambeau...
  17. Here's the part that resonates with me. I want other teams to know that they've Ben Johnsoned. Pun intended...💪🏈
  18. Yup. There was a time we should have been 5-2 that caused an overreacting mindset. This is an old argument, but continuity, with execution, is the single most important aspect of any OL. It's realistic to think we keep five of our current guys, with adding two via draft and one via FA. With our cap space, I would absolutely sign the best guard available, while drafting the best LOT we can. Top need OL.
  19. And you are willing to sacrifice the best we have over a few games a year. I don't get it...
  20. Same. The thing is, we have the money and we definitely can afford to overspend to ensure it gets better.
  21. At minimum, last year...
  22. I absolutely want Jenkins to be signed as a starter. He's our highest graded OL. Gotta have pedigree drafted to push him and be ready. That's how we get the depth we crave.
  23. Not sure you've read the entire thread. I want Jenkins, but also want to draft someone good enough to take his job...
