Just when my off season high was at its peak, you come in with this plausible pipe dream. ?? ??????????
-
Wait till we get a bona fide running back to add to the arsenal.
-
Moore's contract is actually feasible and he's on the hook three more years. There's 6 RT in this draft that will start next year. Also saw that Thielen was released from the Vikings. I'd think he'd be a addition before we got Moore. With Moore, Mooney, Claypool, Jones and ESB, there's no room for a vet. I can see us drafting a burner with one of our seconds.
-
I know, I know! I'll never rat Stinger out though...??
-
I'm more concerned with him being able to pass protect than run block. This year is about Justin passing the ball. If it doesn't work out in free agency Skoronski is pro ready right now. Edit: So, I looked up Taylor's scouting profile from NFL, Walter, Bleacher Report and SB Nation. All of them describe him as a mauler in the run game. He played for Florida, so we know he played against great competition. I'm going to go out on a limb and say his poor run block grade was scheme driven.

That's the NASCAR package! ?

Here's my post combine / pre free agency mock draft. I didn't get an OT and that is the lone negative. Not pictured; I also got the Cardinals first next year.
-
Out of that, sign Taylor and Pocic, then draft another C and G.
-
I'll go a step further. No FA running backs. The draft is very deep. Keep bringing in fresh ones.
-
Nobody on earth would do that. Lamar Jackson isn't as good as everyone hypes him up to be. He's already lost some of his elite speed and has had season ending injuries the last two years. The Ravens know they aren't going anywhere with Lamar and proved it by the tender they gave. He'll end up signing with the Ravens for the contract they want or they'll get the two first rounders they want.

I had the pleasure of watching my son do 7 on 7 workouts at the Colts complex this past Sunday. My wife looked over at me as i straightened my Bears hat, then noticed I was wearing a Bears shirt as well. "You sure have balls wearing that here" came out her mouth. So I told her, "Me not wearing my gear would be like going to my ex wife's house and taking my wedding ring off". Priceless. Anyway, there are some guys I loved at combine. At DE it was Van Ness and AA. At WR Flowers, Njigba and the dude from Stanford. The TE's and running backs were great and deep. At DT, I like Bresee a lot. As well as that big Samoan dude. On the LB side, Henley and Sanders looked to be our kinda guys. For IOL, give me Ragnow and Avila.

A little course correction here. Brown was a RT for the Ravens and Ronnie Stanley got hurt. Brown moved over and played very well. At that point, he said "I'm a left tackle". The Ravens wanted to keep him, but had no choice but to move him. He is a very good RT, maybe the best in the league. If he would agree to play RT for us, I would make him the highest paid one. Problem is, his pride is telling him that he deserves top dollar at left tackle. Regardless of Brown, I want Braxton Jones as our LT, as I think he is special. To play the way he did, coming from a lesser program, admirable. Nothing but upside this off season. I think we need to concentrate on RT and a stud center.

He quit on us once already. Hard pass x2

I saw the interview where Ballard alluded to what you stated. You could tell he was lying when he was saying it. Ballard is a very stone faced guy and literally failed to hide a little smirk when mentioning QB at 4. I want to play poker with him now.
-
They interviewed Poles and Flus yesterday. Poles stated that this draft is deep in what they are looking for in DL and OL.
-
I hope they've come to realize that Monty isn't going to get us anywhere. The only thing he is above average at is breaking tackles. Everything else is blah. Opposing defenses have zero prep against him.
-
I like him at edge. He'll have to get a little bigger for inside.
-
He is one of the reasons is like them trade out of the top 10. Edge is seriously deep this year. I said somewhere else that Van Ness reminds me of Hutchinson. A lot of people don't know him because he wasn't even a starter, due to some rule coach has about starting the older guys. The second and third rounds hold great value for RT, G, C, TE and CB. I'd love to have five or six picks in that area.
-
The more I look at Van Ness, he reminds me of Aiden Hutchinson. Breesee plays like a Bear.

-
I did a mock on PFF and made 4 trades to end up at 14. Got 10 picks in the first 100 and a first next year.
-
Worry not...?
-
The more I chew on it, the more I want an extra first rounder for next year. This year is for building the foundation and completely evaluating Fields future. 2024 will either be time to contend or draft a new QB. The extra pick will really help either way.

It's like having ants in a jar; everything's fine until you shake it.

You know what's funny, is that all three you mentioned could have that identical stat line and I would be very happy with it.
