  1. I'm a little fuzzy, but didn't we give up around 450 yards and a Packer receiver dropped a sure TD? Please don't ever tell me they didn't have anything to play against the Packers. Also, Justin had everything to play for. If he was as beloved as stated, the D would've been inspired.
  2. He looks goofy at first glance. But if you look deep into it, he is covering ground very quickly. He's so bendy, it looks like he's made of rubber. Once he hits the professional weight room and gets his hand fighting down, it's going to be like trying to block flowing water.
  3. In looking at the last game, what makes anyone think we'll have a top five defense? I see top half and but not top five.
  4. The anchoring part is somewhat of a comfort, because Patrick was a Matador. I guess I need to hit the film instead of bitching about what I want.
  5. We had Whitehair, Patrick, Kramer and Feeney last year. Do Bates and Shelton have any better pedigree?
  6. I hope you are right. You are taking about a guy that couldn't start for his team and an inexperienced Ivy League tackle. Sounds like regurgitated Patrick BS to me...
  7. It can absolutely help an opportunistic defense. What I have seen from Flus's D is bend but don't break. So, is it really a weapon when you give up the yards until the field shrinks at the 25 yard line? The 85 Bears would absolutely use that as a weapon, as they were always in attack mode. I hope I'm wrong, but I just don't see the big advantage. Did Poles finally play the smartest guy in the room role or is he simply the smartest guy in the room? The difference makes all the difference...
  8. When I first heard it, I hated it. Thought about it for a few and hated it. Then thought, who am I? Still don't understand it, but who am I? I've been crying for a stud center for three years and we've yet to get one. Maybe the backup we traded from the Bills will be the guy. All I know, is I better not see a turnstile up the middle this year.
  9. He did an interview on ESPN 1000 yesterday. He has a career in media when he retires. Very charismatic.
  10. We all need to remember, the draft is about next year...
  11. He reminds me of Cris Carter. Hopefully, he has the dog in him that Carter had.
  12. I get it, but I've been begging for it for two years and he's failed me. At this point, it's the only true black mark I give Poles. The middle must be solidified. Also, I cannot attest to being sober this evening, so my opinion may change by morning...
  13. We are 24 picks into the draft and the two best IOL products are still available. I'm not sure how we do it, but future picks are definitely abundant. I want Barton or JPJ...
  14. You are getting info a full minute or two before me.
  15. Completely agree. I was hoping for a trade, but Odunze is a Cris Carter type of receiver. Let's hope...
  16. Loved his walk up! Nothing but business
  17. I believe Fields would get us 10 wins, this year. A lot of that has to do with the huge haul we could have received from trading the one. However, I think that's his limit. I honestly feel the same way about Hurts, Lamar, Mayfield, Cousins and Murray. (With Justin being at the low end of them)
  18. I just screenshot this off the TV. It supports the OL principle that we like. Top need, center 92% success rate. Sign me up for a trade down and Graham Barton for the win!
  19. If we go fourth round center, I'm taking Beaux Limmer.
