Yes, good speed from WR's mode very well for us. Something else that is a good sign, is that the QB's have impressed. That will move more WR and QB into the first round and potentially let an OL slide to us that we didn't expect. And with so many WR running well, one of them should be available in the second or third. Fatties are working out today!

Skyy wasn't the twichiest guy out there, but he was the most fluid. The way he runs looks effortless. Combine that with the excellent acceleration he showed should make him a deceiving route runner. I want see some footage of him against press coverage. If he's adept at beating that, he'll be a good one. Totally love every single thing Poles has had to say since he's been hired.

Listening to Jurko talk today and he unequivocally stated that Jenkins is not a left tackle. That doesn't mean Poles sees it that way. If he does, that's damning as hell on Pace. I truly would love to see Jenkins in the Pro Bowl, but I think it's going to be at RT.

Daniels will command 6.5 to 8 mil per year based on performance and similar contracts. I highly doubt some team sees him as a hidden gem and gets him to 8 figures. I would honestly do a post June 1 cap cut on Whitehair before losing Daniels.

I get the money saving part, but at what point do we start having competition and depth? If Daniels is proven, make Borom take a position from someone. (That is extremely important in building culture) We only have 3 guys under contract, so all hands on deck.

Why would a scenario drafting an OT and C mean Daniels is gone? We only have three OL under contract and Daniels is better than all of them. I like that draft with keeping Daniels. That being said, Peters would still be needed to ensure stability and to be a mentor.

Bernhard Raimann, OT, Central Michigan, 6-6, 304, 4.95, SR … Fourth-year senior is arguably THE most interesting player in the 2022 draft class as he only started playing football in high school as a foreign exchange student from Austria. In fact, he was originally a WR in high school, but switched to TE when he arrived at CMU and only moved to OT at the start of the 2020 season. However, he appears to be a natural despite playing a total of only 18 career games at the position. Indeed, proved himself to be for real with a very good week of practice at the Senior Bowl where he was the best offensive lineman in the actual game. He certainly looks that part at 6-6, although his arms are a little shorter than ideal at just 33 inches. He’s also a little light in the caboose, but has the frame to add another 10-15 pounds. What he is is an outstanding all-around athlete who has the potential to really blow-up the combine. He’s very quick and agile, flexible and has outstanding balance and body control. He’s also got legit weight-room strength that translates into a dynamic initial punch as well as the ability to anchor at the point of attack. He’s also very competitive, as well as super smart with a GPA of 3.8 as an Actuarial Science and Statistics major. He’s both a solid run blocker who really locks on and can get to the second level, as well as a reliable pass protector with the quickness to cut off the edge, although his hand placement can be inconsistent at times. At the same time, though, he is a somewhat older player who will turn 25 before the start of his rookie season, which means he’ll already be almost 30 when he comes up for a second contract. Bottom line: Raimann is one of the tougher calls for NFL scouts as he has is still a developing player, and there is the age thing, but has all the tools and has as much upside as any offensive lineman in the 2022 draft.

Following in the footsteps of Jacoby Brissett and Denico Autry, Anthony Walker became the latest Colts veteran to say goodbye to the Circle City. The longtime Colts linebacker is headed to Cleveland on a one-year deal worth $3.5 million, according to a league source familiar with the situation. The final pick of Chris Ballard’s first draft as general manager of the Colts, Walker proved to be a steal in the fifth round (No. 161 overall) of the 2017 NFL Draft. In four seasons in Indianapolis, Walker suited up for 57 games, made 48 starts and recorded 347 tackles, 3.5 sacks, three interceptions and two forced fumbles. As those numbers surely testify, he provided a stable, consistent force in the middle of a blossoming Colts defense, missing just one game in his final three seasons. He also flashed some impressive versatility, ably sliding over to weakside linebacker whenever Darius Leonard was forced to miss time. I'm fully on board with ripping the band aid off. We are not going to be good regardless of the cap, so get the cap right for future years. It's my opinion that having a reset year will help this team more than anything cap wiggling can do.

Peters, Whitehair, Mustipher, Daniels, Ifedi, Jenkins, Borom, Wilkinson, Bars, Simmons Above is the current roster. In bold are the only players that belong on an NFL roster. Out of the bolded players, only Whitehair, Jenkins and Borom are under contract. Bars and Mustipher are RFA's. In case anyone wondered, all of the non bolded players also have no contract. This information should tell you that Ryan Pace should never make personnel decisions ever again. With the three players we have under contract, I would put Jenkins at right tackle and not even think about moving him to the left side. I don't see Borom as a starter yet, but if I had to put him in a starting position, it would be at RG. Whitehair should remain at LG, as I was never impressed with him at OC. I believe we offer Daniels a market fair contact for him to remain our RG. He went be terribly extensive. I like us to retain our RFA's as key backups. I pray to the football Gods that Jason Peters signs for one more year. If for anything, to know we at least have a contingency plan for left tackle. In free agency and the draft, we must, above all else, find a left tackle for the future, because we don't have one on the roster. This is why I have been clamoring for us to obtain more draft picks for the last few years. It all starts up front and we are very incomplete. Cam Robinson and Orlando Brown may be impossible to get. The Jags are desperate to protect Lawrence and the Chiefs gave up four draft picks to get Brown. Both of these guys are likely to be franchise tagged, at minimum. I'm hoping we can draft someone like Rasheed Walker in the second round. In free agency, Ryan Jensen is a viable option to sign. To fill out the roster, I would draft another interior lineman and sign one for the vet minimum. Our OL should improve this year, but I believe it won't be considered good until next year.

Grant is good for his returns and slot versatility. It was nice to Patterson have a decent season. His best niche is in special teams. Now, if they want a Deebo type of player, Cohen is the best suited for that roll, plus he fields punts. (If healthy and hungry) Overall, we need more physicality out of the WR role. That is our greatest weakness outside of OL.
