  1. This is from The Athletic. Looks spot on... https://theathletic.com/4772928/2023/08/14/chicago-bears-roster-projection?source=user-shared-article
  2. Wow, I'm a sarcastic bastard and he fooled me. Getting old I guess...?
  3. This guy is taking a gamble on his reputation.
  4. They were constantly switching back and forth, so it would be easy to do.
  5. Good summary with one correction. Pickens got the sack you credited Dexter with.
  6. Velus doesn't seem to be a natural football player. Great size and speed combo, no feel for the game.
  7. At the half, Trevis Gipson is the player of the game. Loved what I saw from Gordon, Stevenson, Pickens, Lewis, Sewell, Herbert, Moore and Fields. I'll evaluate the OL play tomorrow. Bear down!
  8. The rookies are playing well. Stephenson, Dexter, Pickens and Wright will be starters. Sewell and Johnson will see significant time.
  9. Gipson was grossly held, robbing him of a sack.
  10. Dexter and Pickens changed the whole dynamic of the D.
  11. Meanwhile, Jordan Love looked good yesterday...?
  12. Dexter was always going to be a 3T. He's a bigger Deforest Buckner and Richard Seymour. All are 6'6. Dexter just has 20# on them. Nasty....
  13. If you sign up with Verizon internet, they are offering Sunday Ticket on YouTube for free. I'm going in tomorrow to get the details.
  14. Oh yea, he was in the league a long time...
  15. Watching NFL Network today. Brian Baldinger is there. He was saying that pre-draft Darnell Wright was his number one tackle prospect. He raved about how heavy handed he is and that he's just a naturally big thick dude.
  16. He actually kept his family here while he played in SF. He's really good on the radio. He's on with Waddle and Silvey on Friday afternoon.
  17. Robbie Gould is doing work at ESPN 1000 and says he's ready whenever called. He wants to finish raising his family here.
  18. That's important, especially with trust. Justin can let it rip sooner if he trusts his target.
  19. Great work on this. You did forget Pettis at WR, who I still like over ESB. But, it ain't that deep. Also, you have the starting OG positions switched up. Other than that, great stuff!

It's definitely true. Flus and Rod are best buds. I think Flus also mentioned Gus Bradley as reference. I have no clue why nobody wants to lock a perennial 9 sack guy down. Might be us at mid season...

Another point of good news, Rod Marinelli personally vouched for Ngakoue.

If true, that is great news. He's the first.

Ngakoue is a one dimensional player, but what he does, he does as good as anyone. He's rumored to be a locker room dick, but not a cancer. For one year, at this price, I'll take him...
  24. You forgot the owner and Mr irrelevant and his 107 QBR
  25. Not really, IMO. (Tag, draft, FA) If a guy knows he's the dog, then nothing will sway his option of himself. If a guy knows everyone around him sucks, like last year's DL, he may feel secure for a season but knows a reckoning is coming. There are twice as many guys on the cusp of making it compared to those that already have. This creates a dog eat dog environment.
