I vote yes for the waiver I don't want to drop a position, so another can be created. Just drop 1 or 2 position starters and the 2 bench guys -

Of course I'm back in the money league....I have a few ideas, but will bring it up when we get enough players -
Dear O-line Gods....Please let Rodney Hudson fall onto the Bears lap now
-
Rodney Hudson only participated in offensive line drills which were directed by Chicago Bears OL coach and former Minnesota Vikings head coach Mike Tice and spent some time working at center and snapping the ball. Says moving from guard to center if needed is just fine with him. He plans to watch the draft at home with his family.

Wondering where everyone stands on the CBA mess
sulster replied to Chitownhustla's topic in Bearstalk
I'm sure if the players didn't spend $25,000 on strippers and rolling 20 deep in their circle of friends, they wouldn't be crying about anything. The only argument I stand with the players is that playing 18 games was not safe.....other than that, time to plan my fall around college football. Go Noles -
Rodney Hudson is looking good. I want him at center
-
If JA takes a guy from division 1aa in the 1st round, he should have his nuts cut off. 3rd or 4 th yes, but this high is craziness. I'm not questioning the kid, but competition he went against. The only guy I can think of drafted that high from 1aa is Flacco
-
If the Bears do end up drafting Pouncy, you don't want him at center. He was a horrible and would be a better guard.
-
I'm a Nole, so I despise all gators. Austin is a complete idiot with huge moobs. His boobs are bigger than Pamela Anderson's. Because of his not so smart tweets, he was the reason the agent thing went down last summer. I follow ACC football and Austin was non factor in many games. For his hype, he definitely didn't play or produce like it.

I think I will puke in my mouth if those are the first 2 picks
-
Please draft Rodney Hudson in the 3rd to evenutally replace Olin at center
-
oh please people....there are some serious hypocrites on here. People bashing the line all season and where were the poeple asking to show class then. Works both ways people
-
They are all right....he is a bum with no heart. I hate Favre to death but at least he wasn't a quitter. As the many athletes say, I've got all offseason to heal.

Green Bay is sending 53 Packers to Chicago to help Da Bears pack for their trip to Dallas.......

I'm still going with a cb being drafted in the 1st. We just all saw how important Peanut is to the defense. I say he has a couple more productive years left in him. The only cb we have that comes even close to his type of play is Bowman, but he cant stay healthy. Draft one now and let him see how a true professional plays the game. A full offseason for the oline will work wonders for the oline. Now lets also look at the history of the draft. The only linemen that have been drafted in the 1st round have been in the top 10. Usually teams wont waste a 1st round pick on an olinemen if it isnt in the top half. More times than not, they have been busts.
-
Really wish you would read the whole thread and not scan parts.
-
Sorry if you dont see the improvement from the oline from begining of the season, then you are blind. Frank did not start the season at tackle and has done a hell of job filling in. Take of the haterade glasses and realize this line has come a long ways. Beginning of the season, yes the Bears needed the draft help ASAP. Now it isnt a priority to draft a OT in the 1st round.
-
not sure where i said we dont need linemen. I said we dont need to draft an Ot in the 1st round. I actually said we need interior linemen, but not in the 1st round
-
I've been checking out some mock drafts. I saw a couple where they had us taking OT from Boston College. At beginning of the season, I would of been all for it. The Bears really need interior help now. Olin has been a great Bear, but he costs us too many 1st downs with stupid penalties. I wouldn't draft an interior lineman in 1st round either. Give Webb a full off season and he will not be weak link on the passing downs. Frank may not be the sexy name the fans want, but he has done a he'll of a job. Don't see the need to draft an OT that high. If anything, we need not notch cb to replace Peanut in a couple yrs.
