If he IS 218, then he is probably the best 3-4 OLB in the draft. If he gains the weight back, he is a top 5 explosie talent at DE. PICK HIM.

Completely agreed. But given the number of players already on roster, I'd much rather have Collins. I think Gregory could help, but he'd still be rotational at best. Besides, why get rid of a head case WR then spend your first two picks on a WR and a head case?

That was the major Alabama flaw this year: coverage. Collins is a FS when the CBs are decent. But if the CBs are not good, like Alabama this year, then Collins is not as good. If picked, he will end up being a multi-year SS for the Bears barring injury.

If this happens, I will be furious. No way they would pass on McKinney, Kendricks, Phillips, Goldman, Fisher, Gregory, AND Collins to get him. Although, I do like his pick in the third. Walter's 2nd is much, much better, but I hate his third rounder when guys like Dawson, Grassu, and Heeney go afterwards.

I mean, it is a good pick, but had they just kept Marshall it wasn't really necessary. It is digging a hole then filling it. Keeping BM and picking Shelton makes more sense.
