Don't worry about it. Anyone can read this thread and see your hypocrisy. Calling one type of play out as being negative, and then patting yourself on the back when it works. In this instance, you are the pot AND the kettle.
-
Funny, I could have sworn that Forte had two good runs earlier outside of the tackles on stretch plays. Oh, yeah, that's right...HE DID!! Once again, hypocrite, every play isn't going to be successful every time. Unless it's a slant against the Bears defense...which just got thrown successfully for the 7th time out of 8 attempts this game.
-
Gimme a break. You can't say "Oh, that run was a bad one" and then later say, "Just like I called it, run, run, run, then pass." It's being hypocritical, which is why I called you an ignorant hypocrite. Maybe it's because you don't understand the word? As for name calling, you can shove it. Anyone who reads this knows you are using the term "coach" in a derogatory manner, and it may as well have a curse word in its place. Calling you a hypocrite is accurate; all one has to do is read the entire thread to see that.

Bears dodged a bullet there. #81 for the packers dropped a sure first down catch.
-
Dude...scroll up, read the entire thread. You're being an ignorant hypocrite. The series you said had TWO bad plays out of three was run, run, short pass.
-
HAHAHAHA. Nice.

HANIE!!!!!!!

Freaking Webb. WTF. Please get blown up a little bit more. I think Chester Taylor must want to secretly kill Webb.
-
I think it's funny that the announcers are making it a negative that Hanie got brought in during the 3rd quarter, thereby limiting the Bears and restricting them at QB. I think it's a POSITIVE. We all knew Cutler wasn't coming back in. But I think it was a clever ploy to ensure Collins never gets back into the game. Hell, I'm sure half of the WRs and RBs played QB in high school...gotta be better than Collins.
-
Martz must hate Collins. Collins and his bubble gum arm in? Three straight passes. Hanie and his ??? arm in? Run, run, run...
-
I love how you never answer questions. You just come back with questions. It shows you have no answers. As to YOUR question, it's because the Packers have one of the best defenses in the NFL. Period. Add that to the fact that one of their strong suits is pass rush, and the Bears' major weakness is on the OL, then it's a recipe for a lack of success. Pretty easy to figure that one out.
-
I disagree here. Remember the Giants game? People were saying the same thing. Then we found out it was something serious. I'll wait to see if Cutler is injured or not before declaring his fate sealed. Even if he isn't injured, I could see people forgetting after a few decent seasons.

How in the world is Collins in the NFL?
-
Check back when Collins is not Collins. I don't think there is an OC in the league who can put together a successful game plan with Collins behind this OL. With one of the negatives, maybe. With both? Very unlikely. This is all on Forte's shoulders, and even Atlas shrugs.
-
But isn't the run precisely what you have been calling for? Talking about getting bored with this topic...and you. Try to be a little less contradictory. BTW - The packers just threw ANOTHER pass into the cover-2 gap on the hash marks just behind the LBs.
-
I SUMMON THE ARIZONA CARDINALS GAME!!!! That game was all defense and special teams. It's still possible!! THEY ARE WHO WE THOUGHT THEY WERE!
-
That drive is not the same as the last drive. EVERYONE agrees that the Bears shouldn't have thrown three times with Collins (edit). That was stupid on Martz's part. But there was absolutely nothing wrong with the play-calling on the previous possession.
-
Which was the good one and which were the bad ones? The first and second down runs got positive yardage, and resulted in something like a 3rd and 3 or 4. Then it was a short crossing pattern to a wide open Hester who was in position to turn and get a first down. Please enlighten us, what should have been done?
-
I have no clue why the Bears had Collins throw three times. That's horrible. Martz has got to give him time to adjust with a run or two. Also doesn't help when he gets pressured on the first two throws, and hit on the latter. With Collins in, the Bears gotta run.
-
Read the post. The tampa two is a great scheme when the opponent is in deep, but otherwise it gives up gashing slants in the soft spot over and over and over. You can't refute it; you just come back with childish retorts. Which is also why you can't reply to the problems on the last offensive possession of run, run, short pass.
-
I notice that you didn't answer what was wrong with that last offensive drive. Your posts, are in fact, often ignorant. Meanwhile, please point out how my point was ignorant or hatred? It's true. The packers have been throwing in that deep slant gap in the cover-2 zone ALL FREAKING DAY. How is that good? Other than in deep territory, it doesn't work.
-
HORRIBLE call. James Jones extended his arm. All Jennings did was put his arm out against the WR who was trying to create space. Wow. The packers don't need help in this game.
-
Gotta love that defensive scheme. Gives up the easy pass in the zone (tampa-2) again and again. When all three LBs are bailing on the snap, it's not good. Two in a row.
-
What did Martz do wrong on that drive!? You're hatred is ignorant sometimes. Run, run, short pass. That is the EXACT recipe you've been asking for! That is PRECISELY what is needed when an OL is playing like garbage and the QB is throwing inaccurately. Cutler made a bad throw. Period.
-
If that is true, the season is over. HOWEVER, I haven't heard it at all on TV...so I doubt it. Those sideline vultures are all over stuff like that.
