  1. Far too often we are forced to see the DL jump offsides. Far too often we are forced to see the OL twitch in crucial moments. Far too often we are forced to see the WR run the wrong route. Far too often we are forced to see the LB pick the wrong gap. Far too often we are forced to see the DB make horrible tackling attempts. This is the most poorly coached Bears team I have ever seen. I don't know what this coaching staff must do to get fired, but this is ridiculous.

I don't know who is responsible for deciding whether or not the Bears challenge a previous play, but whoever it is that person should be fired. 1 - They don't know the rules. 2 - They are horrible at their job. 3 - I'm not totally sure the Bears have someone to do it, and Lovie is just winging it down there on the sideline based upon how adamant his players are. Throwing away two timeouts in a crucial moment of the game against our most heated rivalry is simply not tolerable.
  3. It's easy to do if you are AGAINST Cutler, but when the announcers openly question WTF the WR is doing on both of "Cutler's" Interceptions, it's nice to keep some perspective on what reality is. Two times this game, TWO TIMES, the WR did something that looked completely out of the ordinary, and Cutler threw it to a spot that was nowhere near the WR on that route. And on both plays, Brian Billick, a man who has shown to be a better offensive coordinator in his sleep than anyone on the Bears' staff, has questioned what the WR was doing. Has he had a bad season? Yes, way worse than we expected. But that's two more INTs that we can easily say weren't on Cutler. Did he throw other bad passes that were his fault, and COULD have been picked? Yes, but the INTs that happened aren't on him.
  4. Just like I've said before...let's see what players are on the roster BEFORE drafting a ton of WRs. Aromashodu looks pretty good this game, and apperas to be unguardable. Hell, he's got separation on every play. And he's catching everything. Aromashodu, Hester, Knox, Bennet looks like a pretty good set of WRs to me.
  5. HAHA...I know. Just too excited that the Bears looked really good on a drive for a change. See what happens when the running game actually poses a threat?!
  6. Looked like he kicked while on the ground. Of course, that's because he got rolled AFTER the kick had already gone past the LOS and the play had virtually stopped.
  7. Do you smell that aroma!? Aromashodu!
  8. Back foot or not, if that's where the WR is supposed to be, and he runs the wrong route, then you can't say mechanics were the issue. Unless of course you contend that his mechanics caused him to be short by what would have been about 20 yards (counting Devin A conyinuing "his" route).

    Officially

Considering how shitty the DL has played, this is just yet another reason for everyone to despise Lovie. If the other guys are playing poorly, and they are, then it doesn't hurt to put in two guys who haven't seen the field that much. Give them a shot at being not so shitty.
  10. How can you call that a Grossman? There wasn't even pressure on that play. That looked like a pure miscommunication between QB and WR. And since this is Aromashodu's firsst pro start, I'm going to pin it on him until it's otherwise stated by someone associated with the Bears.
  11. Surely that INT is yet another that is not on Cutler. Let's see...who knows the play a little better? Cutler? Aromashodu? I'm guessing Cutler. That's on the WR unless the Bears come out and explicitly say that Cutler made the wrong read.
  12. Where the hell was Josh Bullocks going on the Ryan Grant run? He's directly responsible for that TD. Completely leaving the right side will lead to huge runs on the right side.
  13. This defense is awesome. Horrible gap control for a team that has a scheme which absolutely requires gap control. Chuck this coaching staff now.
  14. Great way for the OL to show how horrible they are. On the first handoff of the game, the DL could have taken it from Cutler's hand.
  15. I don't care about the other players' situations, I could go either way, but Omilaye and Pace MUST GO. That's too much salary cap space for two revolving doors.
  16. This just in: Lovie has no clue, and doesn't care about the future of this team. He doesn't care about player development. In fact, he never has. Let's hope this is just a brick in the foundation used to fire him.
  17. Very well done. Makes me mad though, because I've been thinking of doing something like this for a long time. I was going to use this as inspiration:

    Bear weather?

I live in Alabama, so I don't get a chance to go to many games. I bought the tickets when they went on sale at the official site, and I couldn't turn down the yearly trek to Soldier field. I purposely got tickets for this game because my father and brother in law were coming along for the trip, and I knew it was going to be a Bears win. As for his "coach speak," yes, I've heard of it. I'm also well aware that Lovie spews it forth like oral diarrhea. It just infuriates me that he thinks we're that stupid, like we don't see that the Bears barely beat a miserable team, and that the weather had nothing to do with it.
  19. This time, yes. I just want all the Turner defenders to own up to the fact that the man is a horrible OC, and everyone who thought so was right all along. It has been completely baffling to me how people have defended him at any time whatsoever.
  20. Very interesting idea, and I think I agree with it. With Orton, he knows he can't fit the ball in there, so he goes for the safest play he can think of. With a supporting cast that isn't great, that results in bad offense that makes the QB look average talent-wise. With Cutler, he thinks he can fit the ball in there, so he fires it in and takes chances when the success percentage is not high. With a supporting cast that isn't great, that results in a bad offense that makes a QB look like a poor decision maker, despite the raw talent.
  21. So, in other words, the Bears' lack of coaching ability is turning Jay Cutler into a mix of Rex Grossman's panic and Kyle Orton's skill-set. Nice.
  22. Who do you think is shitting it on the field?!
  23. This should be obvious, but I want to know if ANYONE is actually still defending this tool Turner? I said it last year, and it took another two full seasons before just about everyone was on board with the reality that this guy couldn't call a deadly, unpredictable, successful offensive gameplan if his life depended on it. I was at the game, and at one point multiple people in my section were yelling out the plays when they happened. It was uncanny how successful we were. The run up the middle was a popular play. Is it any wonder that when the Bears run on the edges it's often successful? It's because EVERYONE is shocked. Just like the 3rd down run by Forte for the TD. After getting stuffed twice in a row before that - something that Turner loves to do on first and second - the entire planet knew that Turner was going to run a play action pass (which would be to the TE or FB, and would most likely be unsuccessful). And what did we have!? Unpredictability, BAM!, rushing TD for Forte, and almost nobody saw it coming. Is that so hard to do? Of course, it was the Rams, but being unpredictable is typically a major strong-suit for a successful offense. Now if Turner could just figure out to mix up the runs and play-actions a bit, not to mention ditch the WR screen that gets destroyed 9 out of 10 times. So, after the rant, is EVERYONE finally on board?

    Bear weather?

Did anyone else hear the post-game comments about it being "Bear weather" and that the Bears ran the ball well? I'm paraphrasing, but he said something like, "Well, it's Bear weather, and I think that when you have a game like that, you have to run. We had to run, we did run. I think we had about 38 rushes, and any time you do that it's a good thing." Does he really think we are that stupid? I was at the game, and let me tell you...it was disgraceful how poorly the Bears played. To only beat the Rams by 8 points is unreal. There were countless discipline problems, again, and the offense was ridiculous.
  25. I should have had you as a teacher in school. You grade far too easy, and you can be manipulated into modifying the grade.
