  1. I don't know about this trade now. Damnit I want a pick. EDIT: The Bears must be targeting specific players, and if they're not there, they are going back for value.
  2. Yeah, I decided...I want Alexander.
  3. Yeah, that Spriggs pick narrowed things down. I'm hoping it's Mackenzie or Reed right now...and I'm not sure Reed fits the scheme.
  4. Dropping like flies. Starting to get worried.
  5. I like him a lot, but I didn't want him in the 2nd. I don't think the Bears need a RB that bad. The Bears need Defense.
  6. Why the hell did the Titans pick Henry? They have Murray. Also, damn Lions. Grabbed Robinson. That sucks.
  7. Baltimore gets a Boise St. DE? First time I've ever really doubted Newsome.
  8. NICE! I like it! This draft is deep. Two in the fourth, one fifth, and two in the sixth. We could still move up if needed.
  9. Giants - Sterling Shepard. Wow. Horrible pick. I like the trade down because it appears there are a lot of options right now.
  10. Anyone know the details? I don't see the Bears selecting in the 2nd round right now.
  11. A'Shawn Robinson or Mackensie Alexander are the two I'm hoping for. EDIT: Dammit. Bears trade down.
  12. Now we're down to A'Shawn Robinson, Jarran Reed, Noah Spence as the potential 5T options?
  13. AND DANTE FOWLER, who was injured all year. Wow. They might shock some people very soon. I wouldn't be surprised to see them with a top 5 D in 2017 if Jack comes back.
  14. Holy shit. Jacksonville might be nasty in two to three years. Jalen Ramsey AND Myles Jack?
  15. I wouldn't mind Spriggs or Ifedi. I don't want Clark this early.
  16. Agreed. I'm pretty happy about Hunter Henry being picked. That means the Bears almost certainly won't get a TE in the 2nd.
  17. I don't know if Jaylon Smith is a bad pick. I think he's got a good chance of coming back and doing well. I'm pretty shocked he got picked this early though. It must be because the Cowboys Dr. is the one who performed the surgery.
  18. Derrick Henry? I'm not sure what your definition of "best pure runner" is though. Maybe you're referring to shiftiness? Dixon has a bit more wiggle, but Henry's actually faster. I'd throw up if the Bears picked Dixon in the 2nd. That would be a very bad pick in my opinion. A significant reach.
  19. Schefter just reported it. That means we're going for a CB very soon.
  20. I can see how. There are several mid-level TEs with very good upside this year. Even if they are pressed, waiting until the end of the third for one guy would be the best bet.
  21. In no specific order I want: -A'Shawn Robinson, DE, Bama -Jason Spriggs, OT, Indiana -Chris Jones, DE, MSU -Noah Spence, DE, EKU -Kevin Dodd, DE, Clemson At this point I think the Bears need to continue picking up pieces that kill opposing QBs. After that I want more crazy speed and talent on defense. I'm all on board with the plan of giving Fangio everything he wants. EDIT: I forgot about Mackensie Alexander. I'd like him at this spot too.
  22. The bolded part is how I feel. Did I like the trade up? No. I want more picks, not less. Do I think Floyd was the guy they should have picked? No. Tunsil was a great value there. But do I feel upset? No. Why? Because I trust this staff so far. We haven't seen them make that boneheaded pick like the other staffs in the past. We haven't seen the ridiculous guy who posted a video, or the guy who was pretty good in a small college environment, or the constant passing on specific positions. Thus far, in Pace I trust.

    Floyd

I wish I knew how to edit the video and put some roller skates on the offensive lineman.
  24. We shall see in a few years. Of course, the team they go to has a lot to do with it, but I don't believe there is a huge gap. Elliott is definitely set up for success right now with Dallas and their awesome OL. Henry has a 37" vert, 130" broad, and an 11.5 60-second shuttle. Those are explosive numbers. And he's 6'3", 240lbs of muscle. Compare that to Elliott who had a 32.5" vert and a 118" broad, and you'd think Elliott was the bigger man. He's 3 inches shorter and 15-20lbs lighter. The only real advantage I give Elliott is in pass catching. Otherwise, I think Henry is just as good or better. I know Henry is stronger for sure, and the combine numbers say he's more explosive. 4.47 forty compared to a 4.54 forty could just be a matter of better form in the particular race.
