  1. Sad, but not unexpected. BTW, didn't Papa George hire Ditka just before he passed? And Ditka took us to the Super Bowl. Could be karma.
  2. It's a team sport. I don't think it was "or". IMDo it was a they, together got everything in line to work. Johnson was to top get and we got him. I'm all in.
  3. A butterfly flaps it's wings in the Amazon . . . .
  4. Well, Johnson is now free to interview as the Lions are bounced out by Daniels & Co. We could make a decision soon.
  5. Wouldn't Brown fulfill the Rooney rule? He's at Halas Hall and is interviewed for the job? Ron checks off some boxes: fans will like it, he's got experience.
  6. And Caleb is 1-1 vs the Puckers. DJ Moore, did you have money on the game? You were a yoyo out there--TD, fumble, penalty, catch to get in FG range. Santos, you got a winner, finally.
  7. And if I recall our O-side of the ball under Lovie was nothing to brag about. I'm all in for getting a coach with offense as his forte. I'm also all in for a coach that can deal with the divas in the locker room.
  8. No Oline and piss poor coaching, that's what happened. Is Poles to blame for those two, yes. But I don't think he gets fired. We do need to weed out the cancers on the team (Tyrique and Kramer) and put together a DL and OL in the offseason while hiring an Offense-minded coach. Everyone knows that and Warren 7 Co. will give Poles another year to do that, imDo.
  9. Waddle a Silvey talked about this today pre-game. Brown prefers to be on the field and not in the box upstairs. I think the whole team crapped the bed and I am convinced that they aren't going to rally round any coach this season. Brown is not our coach of the future,
  10. We get the right guy and we are going to be solid for years.
  11. I do love defense, but it's time we join today's NFL and get a coach that is an offense specialist, AND is a leader. We have our QB that can whip the teams in our division and, with the right coach, can be the catalyst for Super Bowls.
  12. What a disfuncional organization. they let Flus give his Monday presser--and the whole world knows he's gonna get raked over the coals in that, THEN, two hours later they release that he's fired. WTF? Not classy at all. And now, the one guy that has shown some promise with Caleb is removed from his primary task to run this crap show. Do they have an end game? Brown should not be our next coach. Three games and the rest of the season as interim will not make him solid enough to lead the Bears next year. All they've done is used Brown as a stopgap and I can't see that as helping in the teams progress.
  13. Yes, Brown must not be saddled with HC. We are getting good development with Caleb under him. Make him HC and we take a big step back.
  14. God, I sure hope it looks different next year. If not, we're not stopping anyone, again.
  15. All falls on Flus. It is his staff for ST and he's responsible.
  16. Agree completely. D is supposed to be Flus' strong point, yet, when it's 4th quarter and the game's on the line his D craps down their pants. There are no more excuses for keeping Flus.
  17. Yes he's at or near the top of the list, see Vince Dooley and Abe Gibron.
  18. Actually it's well past time. But if they can't see the obvious this franchise is in more trouble for a long time coming.
  19. Oh as I was watching the attempt on TV I told myself the Puckers are going to win, I've seen it too many times.
  20. Agree with most of what you say, though I think they are saying the Packers got a hand on the kick. So that miss goes more on the Packers push up the middle than Santos f****ing up.
