So he's untouchable? Above everyone else on the team? Can't be called to task for petty behavior? If he is, then Poles and Co have screwed the Bears. I see that he's a great WR, I was glad we signed him in the offseason. But he now needs to act like a professional that deserved that contract, and I'm not seeing it.
-
But he could still be a blocker. Unless he was injured, and he was limping, he just quit on the play and the team. Unacceptable.
-
I agree with everything you say. And it gets us back to mediocre coaching. I just pray they don't screw up Caleb.
-
Cole is a leader on this team and he has the skills. Hell, in the pregame on ESPN radio Poles talked about a discussion with Cole after the Washington debacle and it sure seemed Poles sees Kemet as a leader.
-
Can't disagree more on QB. Caleb has the moxy and the skill we haven't seen here. The biggest problem I see is the Oline breaks down AND he does have the hero mentality. Coaching should be hitting him up on just hitting the check downs, but it seems they aren't. I think we have our franchise QB and that this staff is a danger to him and us as fans.

Bucs beat the Kitties, remember?

No discipline on the OL==penalties==piss poor coaching.
-
#rd and 4 and they throw a pass 5 yards behind the LOS. That's being aggressive? What a putz call.
-
Carmen and Yerko (sp) talked about this last week. They'd take a loss if it meant Caleb took strides and i think I agree. Now, the Ol still sucks and Waldron is hot garbage. But Caleb looks like we got a QB finally. I just want him not to be killed behind the crap OL and OC.
-
It's probably a result of the piss-poor calling of Waldron. This is a game we should be winning, but we are not showing up.
-
Yes to both and the oline is still a work in progress. But Caleb looks like a real QB. So I bet we win many of these games in the future.

Velus Jones==never hire with your heart. Stone hands Jones.
-
What I saw in yesterday's game was a QB that went through his reads, stayed in the pocket and delivered when he could, ran out of trouble when he didn't have time and did not run into sacks. I saw a lot of potential and I'm hyped that we have a legit QB for the first time in a very long time.
-
ESPN's Carmen and Jurko today they were certain that the Velus vs Wheeler story was made up by Hard Knox and Wheeler doesn't have a shot over Velus.
-
Agree. He should be back there for KR's. He would be a tough cut and I'd definitely keep him over Velus fumble Jones.

Hope our D shows up with some swagger and smacks their O in the mouth. My Pucker hate is ever-growing.
