then we give up a quick easy TD.... if we don't recover this onside kick we give them a chance to tie.

heard the guys on the score joking about having a Michael Bush productivity drinking game. take a shot every time he does something productive. said it was popular with the Amish as there usually isn't much drinking in this game.

My fantasy team has been out of the playoff hunt for the last few weeks. and I have a really good roster. But it's all about luck and my team could never seem to all perform in the same week.

Bush scores!! Bears win!!!

TD Earl Bennett!

how the hell did Jeffery catch that? He's a human highlight reel. Give Alshon Cutler's money
-
And look how disorganized we look getting the play called at the line need to make a change at QB while there's still a fighting chance to win. The overall difference in offensive crispness is obvious. There again forcing it into tripple coverage to Brandon. Someone friggin tell jay there are other receivers on the field

regardless of how this game... this season goes. I'm done with Jay, he doesn't spread the ball around at all. Forte hardly involved in the pass game, Jeffery who's been ridiculous in the pass game only thrown to twice??? Jay only wants to throw to Marshall. McCown kept everyone involved. We need this type of QB. doesn't help to have all these weapons when you only throw to one of them.
-
I have a bad feeling about this... down 17-24 they are driving. I swear I was going to throw something if they would have upheld that pass interference. Why does it seem the refs are looking for things to call on us.

seems like iTunes only carries previews and highlights no full games at least none for the Bears. I was able to download copy of the game though it just has the game, no pregame, halftime or post game. And not the greatest quality. I do have a friend at work that DVR'd the game on his comcast DVR, neither of us know how to get the game off of there though, some sites say you hook up to it and grab files like a hard drive other sites say you need to use a video capture app and play the game over the firewire to record it onto the computer. I figure it's worth messing with some evening next week to bring my laptop over. He recorded the whole thing from pregame to post game.

Couple of things I would like your thoughts on
BearFan2000 replied to Chitownhustla's topic in Bearstalk
Remember when we couldn't seem to find one capable QB ie the list that every broadcast put up on the screen every friggin week? -
I'm wondering if anyone here happened to DVR the game? If so I would gladly pay for the time, effort, and materials to have the game put on DVD. I've been trying to find a torrent of it and have had no luck, nor could I find it on a couple auction sites that sometimes list games.

We are still undefeated in games we've attended lol. It was great game to be at. The halftime show was nice honoring Da Coach, with video highlights, mixed with so many giving their congrats to Ditka. And the crowd after Ditka finishes his speech with "GO BEARS!!" all shouting in unison Ditka, Ditka, Ditka. We arrived at Millenium station from the south shore and checked out the park, then hedded up north to Ditka's resturaunt where I had the best bbq baby back ribs I've ever had, dad had the steak burger. Great food, great atmosphere, and Da Coach was there but when we were there he was doing a show upstairs so we didn't get to meet him. In hindsight we probably should have hung out longer at Ditka's We got to Soldier Field way too early and there was no shelter from the cold. By the time we were able to get into the stadium we couldn't feel our feet, or finger, and our legs were nearly numb. The warmest place was the restrooms so that's where we hung out till it was time to get to our seats for the player introductions. When Dallas went right down and scored I though here we go again. But we answered back and kept attacking them. Overall I felt this was the best the team has performed as a whole this season. We were scoring at will it was too easy. The D I felt overall did a good job getting off the field and holding them off the board while the offense built a huge lead. We did give up a cheap TD near the end but the Cowgirls were never really in this game. The climb to row 35 of section 438 was steep and exhausting wearing 4 layers. But the View of the field was awesome, we were almost right at the 50. The stadium has an intimate feeling we could actually see the field and players quite well, and the field looked to be in top shape for the game. It probably wasn't smart for me to go as I still had a pretty bad cough from my cold, and was worried about it developing into something more serious. I was hacking the whole frigging time to the point my ribs hurt making the train ride home torture. and I'm sick as a dog today, but will survive and I'm glad we went and stuck it out. It made for a memorable experience with Dad that neither of us will forget. Though I doubt we'll go to a cold weather game again we can definitely mark that one off the bucket list.

Well if it makes any difference, the Bears are undefeated in games my dad and I have attended and we'll be there in section 438 two rows from the top cheering on the Bears. If we can capitalize on Detroit we pull to a tie. If we're able to win out and Detroit stumbles again we take their spot in the playoffs.

Anyone? If you can message me here or my email Thank you soo much.

I think this is a good point, though Josh has looked horrid previously in his career, but if it is possible that light bulb has finally come on for him. Between him and Jay, he's had far less of the beating on his body physically than Jay has. It's kinda like on a car, sometimes the years aren't as important as the milage. I would like to see them both back next year plus a promising rookie. I think all things considering the Bears have more leverage than Jay does as far as commanding a huge contract. And he has hinted earlier in the season that he wouldn't be opposed to some form of "hometown discount" I would like to see us sign Jay to a deal that is cap friendly especially early but with escalators and incentives. Maybe even a shorter term deal with options for further years. I feel like there is something that can get done that is creative, works for Jay, works for the Bears. I think Jay is aware that if his contract is too big, it hinders the ability to make this team better. And if he's willing to sign a deal that is cap friendly early we can use that money to improve the D and make the team overall more solid, and thus a serious contender. If this can get done, and you bring back Josh for 2-3 year reasonable deal then, focus on D.

Not surprised, and I'd rather see him rest and get fully healed rather than rushing back again. Kinda sucks that this is the game I'm going to and won't get to see Cutler play but I don't mind seeing McCown play. In my fantasy league I actually have both Romo and McCown and I'm going to start McCown.
-
makes sense makes getting through the line faster. We're planning on traveling as light as possible. One other question, would there be any chance someone would be able to record the game and halftime retirement ceremony if they show it, for me? I would gladly pay for materials, time, effort, and shipping. I don't have cable/sat so I can't DVR it.

So anything metal, i.e., batteries, memory cards, keys, change, etc. should be in the clear bag?

And this is one of the positives I'm taking away from what has been an up and down and disappointing season, should we indeed miss the playoffs. With our playoff hopes bleak, it's made me look at the team from the perspective of what we have going for us from this point forward. The fact that we have an offensive system that not require superman under center to succeed is huge. Being able to have a decent QB (and that is how I classify McCown) and he will be good with the potential to be really good. And it will take a good QB and make them exceptional. Similar to NE where we've seen that when the surrounding cast drops in quality so did Brady's performance. There are offenses around the league where you can about plug any competent QB in and the offense will succeed. For many long years we've not been one of those teams. Now it seems we very well could be. Let's not forget that prior to the Redskins game there was concern about McCown even being serviceable at QB if Jay got hurt, we've seen Josh suck here in the past. I'm sure I"m not alone that when Jay went down in that game I thought it was over right there. He came in cold and the offense didn't miss a beat. I'm loving the development of Jeffery. Two 200+ receiving games in one season last week breaking his own franchise record setting performance. And that TD he caught was probably the sickest thing I've seen in some time. The body control to stay in bounds, the intelligence to keep the ball clutched up high where it couldn't be knocked away and the strength to maintain control through the catch process was amazing. Marshall was 100% correct when he said this kid is going to be a stud. Heck given time he may actually outshine Marshall in this offense. What a luxury to have to absolute beasts on the field at the same time, and throw in Bennet as the best TE we've had in years along with Forte..... Damn we have some weapons. While the D still looks bad for the most part, I like the addition of Ratliff, the maturation of the younger guys in the line. Getting our vets back healthy next year along with some good draft picks on D and we might see the D much improved next year. Not saying I expect it to be like we're used to, but the last few games at times the D has actually held it's own. Just has really lacked consistency and on field leadership.

Ok for those of you who have been to games at Soldier Field recently I have some questions. Dad and I are still planning on going, and I picked up a regulation clear plastic bag that meets the 12x6x12 size limit. The items I'm considering bringing: 1 small Sony camera with extra batteries and memory cards 1 larger Sony camera with a telephoto lens that is under 6" so it meets the guidelines. Several AA batteries and memory cards 1 backup battery for my cell phone. 2 ponchos (if it looks like rain in the forecast) 1 small blanket (possibly) Since your not allowed to bring a camera case, can the cameras, batteries, and cards be stored in the clear bag? Do they make you empty your pockets and wand you? or can I just keep the batteries/cards on my person either in an inside coat pocket or pants pockets? What are some things I should know ahead of time, any tips? Do they search your plastic bag? Other than obvious things what should I avoid taking with us to the game?

hindsight is always 20/20. Gould nails it and we're not having this conversation. We were frankly lucky to even have a shot at winning because minny screwed up a golden shot to win.

miserable day Gents..... lets be honest this team wouldn't have done a thing in the playoffs.. FU Vikings..... I F'ng hate them.

need a turnover now Game over now
