Forte is solid but seriously overrated IMHO. I would be very surprised if he got more than Gore since talent wise Forte is inferior to Gore.

I am absolutely fine with seeing Martz' version of the west coast offense. We lost one game that mattered post bye (7-1) last year prior to the NFCC. You give me all those wins and you can keep the slowest show in our division's turf. I want wins not flashy stats. DUH

After revisiting how this dude is ranking our acquisitions, I think he is nuts. He is essentially telling us that he feels that Gholston is going to be more valuable than Barber is insane. Those 10 or so third and one or fourth and ones that Barber makes this year which Forte was unable to make last year will be more than what Gholston brings to this team. Not to mention his 5 or six goal line touchdowns. Gholston is what are fourth or fifth best DE? How much PT does he expect him to get as a situational pass rusher? .to receive?

I absolutely agree Brian. Orton is average at best and always has been. Orton needs to keep his mouth shut regardless of how he feels. Leaders don't say what he said. They just don't.

I'm sure many players think F the fans but I would, as a fan, prefer to not hear it from them when I am dumping my hard earned money at your feet to see you play. Recently we had a discussion about the insane tickets price @ Soldier field. Somewhere around 700 bucks for a pair of tickets. A four hour afternoon runs ya about what a grand? That is ridunkulous!

I don't disagree that he is not ready Balta. I also don't see Orton or Quinn taking that team to the playoffs which should at the minimum being that teams goal. There is no reason to not prepare for the future now. IMO, I would not want the face of the franchise I love telling me as a fan F me. Would you?
