  1. I played a little football in college and wound up in Vietnam in 69-70 and it ain't the same, the guys I served with are the real heroes not the guy your talking about, they don't get called baby killers and spit on when they come home as well as denied help from the VA,please forgive me if I come across hostile.

    worst team ever

During my stay in the Republic of South Vietnam in 1969 the Bears went 1-13, that was the only year I missed from 1954,then after arriving home Abe Gibron took over (Bobby Douglas) which was interesting but humiliating and IMHO the most frustrating years a fan could have.I think though this is probably the worst offensive line up to this point I have ever seen.I respect all the loyal Chicago fans, this season is as bad as the early seventies,we don't deserve this.No fan base does.As the famous Mike Brown put it "we suck" and it starts from the top down.

    Rate my team

Nice team,I got Manning and Fitzgerald also, not sure about Holt this year, good luck.
  5. Played corner when crackbacks were legal,I would line up on him when they run it again and knock him into next week with a left forearm to his head.In the old days though it was legal we all had an understanding.I've read you guys for years but never post but this Favre thing really pisses me off as stated you can ruin a guys career, totally gutless move.
  6. Introduction Hi fellow bear fanatics.I thought this would be a good time to join.I have been reading your board for,I think, around five years or so and have finally worked up the guts to post. Please be gentle with an old man.I have been a bear fan since 1954 when I began to listen to the Bears and Red Grange on the radio,I was five years old.I am a Vietnam vet and played a little college ball before being drafted in the army.I played with Mike Wagner (Steelers safety) and my last play was intercepting one of his passes, (he was a quarterback at the time) before being injured and going off to Southeast Asia.Just trying to give a little background where I came from.I now live in Socal (for the last 30 years) and like yourselves, eat, sleep and dream about our team.Merry Christmas to all and hope the coming year is better for all.
