That was my favorite no talent Bear.

I agree with all of that. Unless Jackson all of a sudden becomes super healthy, he's hear 2 years at the most but I expect just one. Hope we draft a rookie that is capable of starting but developes late in the year and beats him out.
-
I want football players, traits are nice but they are more misses than wins. I don't want any part of Stewart that won the combine,no production. Give me jack Sawyer that beats people up but isn't as fast.
-
90% of evaluation is tape. Some GMs get excited with high RAS scores ( Poles) but ultimately you have access information and figure it out
-
Who's Johnson? You mean Jackson? They traded for a player and pay 11.8 mil a year to be a backup. They will draft a starter type player but he would have to beat him out. He's been brought in to start. Because of Injury risk, Simmons is coming an injury also. Dalman is coming off an Injury. Will Fries is coming off an injury. Lots of risk no matter which way you go. This is the choice they made.
-
Everyone says how good Tyler Booker is, I just listed a different opinion. That rates him a little lower in the draft. I listen to all opinions,I don't get stuck on one, I'm flexible.
-
The information that Gabriel gets is usually from former connections he has still active in the NFL. Of course he's wrong sometimes but I'll post his hits and misses when I have time, traveling to Laos right now. I'm in his X account and has more wins than loses but if you don't follow him I suspect you don't have complete information. What I like about him is when pundents make some stupid statement, he calls them out. He has gotten in a Twitter war a few times with Eric Lambert and one guy from NFL Notifications that post stupid comments.

Rarely do you find starters that low in the draft. People like Elijah Hicks, a ST player who can come in and start some games as a backup. I have read where Johan Jackson has only given up 5 sacks in his career. None last year on limited snaps. The previous 2 yrs was only 2 sacks on 1600 combined snaps. I have just heard his injuries over his past and it's a bunch of different nagging injuries, broken finger, concussion, ankle. Kinda sounds like Jenkins history to me. He has no clear knee or back issues so at least they're minor.
-
They clearly are bringing him in to start but will add draft picks to compete. Doubling down on positions so their not stuck if it fails. People complain because he was injured last year. Dalman only played 5 games last year. Will Fries only played 8 games last year. Most options in free agency are not perfect additions. Davis came in with no injury history and look how that turned out. Ben Johnson had influence on this addition, if wasn't just a Poles decision. So I have a little more faith in the move. I have heard it 2 ways, his salary is 9 mil and has an 8.5 mil bonus addition. Does LA have to eat that? Or is that come to us? OTC has his salary this year as 11.8 mil and next so apparently LA has to eat some of the bonus money. When teams trade players they always have dead money, I assume this is accurate on OTC. Also Greg Gabriel doesn't like the move. He knows a coach in LA and said when Jackson came in to LA ,his work ethic dropped off and that's why his play wasn't as good. Now does he get a fresh start here? Did Johnson talk to him before the trade? Don't know if any of that is allowed.

Only 2% of 6 round drafted players become NFL starters.
-
I think most pundents see him playing inside or RT not left. A few say they think he could play there, who knows where he ends up. Like you said nasty attitude and productive.
-
I just posted a different opinion to create a talking point not to make his case. I absorb as much information as I can and the year will play out as it does. Ironically Ourlads has a top 35 and he is listed Booker in the mid 20s That is a composite of all their scouts. Actually that is where I thought he might be drafted anyway without any research. I would be very happy getting a trade back and get him there.
-
That pretty well sums it up, they didn't want to pay him with Sewell and Ragnow contracts coming. Injuries came into play. At worst he's a competent backup that can play LG or C . For a net cost of 5 mil. I think it's an insurance policy but Poles hasn't succeeded well taking risks IE, Bates and Davis.
-
The difference is one still does scouting and one is retired. It's just another opinion to listen to but no way to access their results until they play. Both could be successful or both average, that's why they play the game. Both are said to be first year starters.
-
During season 22 and 23 he missed 2 games and 3 games respectfully. Only gave up 2 sacks in those 2 years. Last year only played in 4 with a shoulder injury. Never read about having surgery or not. They cut Bates and save 4 mil, so Jackson has a net cost of 5 mil for one season. Low cost, high upside. Very curious at what position? I guess this is insurance if they can't sign Dalman or target him to play LG?
-
The difference is Jackson played well enough to make an all pro pick. They obviously have information on his health or they wouldn't be doing this. I wonder if he will be the LG or play center.
-
Actually they had him playing center for awhile in LA. Anyone know how well he did?

Scouts that work for teams mislead al the time. Ourlads is independent and they just have opinions, who they going to lie for? Booker could go top 10 , I don't know any different, I just added more information on Membou is all. Had I not heard that opinion, I may never had watched the tape.
-
I don't blindly follow what someone's opinion is but he has watched hours of tape more than I have. I read many opinions, look at tape myself and form an opinion. I think you keep saying you haven't watched much tape on anyone yet. So later in the process, I will find more value in your opinion. Having said all of that, NFL people make mistakes all the time. All we can do is read watch and see what happens. We have to get a star at #10 , not just a starter. As I look at more information, there's people I start to like. Watch some tape on Membou, he's a beast. Also TJ Sanders and Joshua Farmer. A couple DTs I like.
-
I listen to people that scout for a living much more than fans. Drafts are about value of your pick. I think Booker is a day one starter but if scouts rate someone better, I'm going to listen to the conversation. It's about the value of the #10 pick, If Membou is rated higher I think he will be a better player. If we trade back to the latter part of the round and take Booker, I would be elated.
-
Here's an interview of an Ourlads scout that is worth listening to. He suggests Membou may be better than Campbell and Booker has a second round grade. He likes Hampton better than Jeanty.
-
Actually just heard a interview with an Ourlads scout. He gives Booker a 2nd round grade and Membou has more upside than Campbell. Zabel probably will be gone. It's just projection on me. Ourlads is a group of former scouts that sell scouting information to NFL teams. Last I heard was 25 teams but there content. They're seem to be on point a lot when it comes to evaluations.
-
I think Dennis Allen prefers size at DE. So Stewart, Landon Jackson, Jack Sawyer JT Tumoloau are more suitable for our defense. Hopefully someone jumps on Stewart and we will get the choice of the rest at 39. 1st Booker or Membou 39) Landon Jackson 41) Zabel or Savaiinaea 72) TJ Sanders 149) Skattebo or Mullings
-
I think Campbell will be gone by 10. So if we have to take a player with no trade back, I would prefer Booker or Membou over Banks. Coming off an injury and the other two are more aggressive and have an attitude.
-
I think they can build an offense groomed to Justin and win with. They can now get him cheaply. It's a risk but Wilson wasn't the answer.
