I can see them bring back Williams on a minimum deal. A decent player. He also has 4.1 speed.
-
I think any contract has a games played stipulation if they acquire Armstead. Personally I would not bring in an injured player just because you need players to play. I would rather have Duane Brown at 37 with little injury history.
-
We just picked up a 2020 3rd round pick from Tennessee. Carrynton Evans/RB.Didn't do much as a backup but has 4.41 speed.
-
Black son played well, I don't see him going anywhere.
-
Armstead will get more than 16. I figure 20 but maybe it's tied to his number of games played. He made 13 mil last yr, and there are 11. LTs making over 15 mil, other than Bakhtiai and Trent Williams, hes better than 9 of them.

Here is a draft I did on PFN, I made one trade and got 75 and 150 for pick 71. 39......Alex Pierce/WR 48.....Christian Watson/WR 75.... Tyler Smith/OT 145....Cam Jurgens/OC 148.....Mario Goodrich/CB highest rated CB on the board. 150....Nick Cross/SS. 4.34 40 time. 185... DJ Davidson/DT. 4.94 40 time at 6'3" 327 This draft gave me 2 big time WRs, 2 potential starters on Oline this yr or next and depth in he back of the defense.

Petit Frere is capable of starting his first year. If you don't resign Daniels Tom could take Witehair replacement next year, where he is more cutable. West can compete with Musifer if no FAs brought in.
-
I don't see Poles able to move AJAC because of the cost of the contract and regression in his play.. Maybe Goldman as a traded player instead of just cut. Whitehair also gets paid alot. even with low compensation back at least you get more money to spend. Quinn is a valuable piece but don't think you would get a lot for him because of his age and contract. You still need someone to pass rush.
-
Smart GMs trade a player one before they have to. At his age plus his nagging injuries , he was not the same player he was in 2018. Also we have someone to take his place, Gipson. Plus we can get to see Charles Snowden has to offer. If Gipson progresses to double digit sacks, Quinn regresses to 11-12 sacks. In limited snaps, Snowden gets 5 sacks, then this will be a successful move. Also with changing defense, playing Will LB, you now use Roquin more as a pass rusher, 6-8 sacks.

Have Seen where there is a chance we could get Daniels back. since Whitehair makes 12 mil a year, look for him .to be a trade possibility or just cut. Could save 8 mil if you cut him post June1.
-
They need to get in on bidding on Joseph Noteboom. He's young, played great in limited snaps. He will be 6-8 mil a year. LA doesn't have the cap space to get in a bidding war. May have to go 10 mil but it's worth the risk for a LT that could be here 5 yrs.
-
I'm in Thailand so I woke up to this news. Didn't think it would happen just because there was only one team capable of doing this trade and SD did it. SD had the cap space , most other contenders didn't.
-
If you only got a #2 and 6th for Mack , that would mean a 3rd and 6th for Quinn? If you trade him post June 1 you could pick up 12.4 mil cap space but has dead money for the next 3 years. Before June 1 you only get 4.5. The key to all of these trades are hoping Gipson takes another step. Had 7 sacks this year.
-
I liked all your picks but the RB that high was a bad choice. If we got those WRs that would be great. Speed with Watson and Grey,, Talbot would be the possession guy. Beavers and Cheap could start as rookies. Zack Tom was the only OL, it would have been better with 2, Should have taken another OL with the RB choice.
-
I would have like to seen a healthy Mack for this year but I understand why they did it. I think a #2 and a 4th would have been what it should have been but there was no competition for this trade. SD is the only team that was a contender with the cap space to make this trade. How many games did Mack miss last year? That's what this team will look like. Now Gipson gets his shot which needed to happen. His replacement is already on this team, J Attaochu. His last yr he had significant snaps was 2020 with Denver, 5 sacks and 14 QB hits in 5 starts. He will only be a situational pass rusher but at least he will gives you something. Also Charles Snowden will get a chance to develop in his second year. Having a #2 is good but we will probably have to use it to find Macks replacement.

I seen an article in THE Athletic where a guy predicted every teams free agent signings. They only listed 3 : DJ Chark/WR....Duane Brown/LT.....Trai Turner/OG. It would be nice to get them. Chark will be 8-10 mil, Brown 10 mil and Turner 6/7 mil. I don't think jaguars will let him leave , they have 58 mil in cap space. Brown is 37 but played well last year, I can see that is possible and Turner makes sense because our Oline coach was in Pittsburgh last year. Personally my first 3 : Joseph Noteboom.... Brian Allen.... Byron Pringle. I think Kirk and Chark will be to expensive. Pringle has upside.

A lot of people post stories and seems odd a nobody would have that info. Just seen a tweet from a Chad Forbes ( that the market for James isn't in high demand) , first that info would come from an agent, secondly its illegal for teams to have negotiations before the period starts next week. Plus that info would have to come from Poles that they know he's in low demand.it would be nice if we can resign him at a 8 mil type price but how would anyone know a week ahead of time.

The Colts don't have a lot of options. Watson, if he legal problems get figured out. Trade for Jimmy G, I doubt it or going after Trubisky. Could draft a rookie then maybe they would trade for Foles.

Good point

History of free agent OL , that young that were productive are big paydays. Whitehair is a good example.Someone will offer him 10-12mil.a Year.
-
Wentz seems like a bad talent but I remember Tannerhill was thought to not be good and went to Tennessee and been a better QB.
-
There must be a defined difference in the type of player in the the outside zone blocking scheme.. More athletic and smaller body types. I've been pushing for a new OC but what if Mustifer actually play better in this scheme. Olin has been training with him and said not to count him out. He played well the 5 games he started in 2020 when he was lighter. Olin said he knows what he needed to do to get better.
-
If Poles is patient and frugal we could put together a competitive team. A lot of good talent after the first wave.
-
I think you also have to look at the money there paying him, 10-16-24-24 over the next 4 years. He's 30. He is worth the 10 mil this year but then it goes crazy expensive. I would rather just draft a couple WRs.
-
Denver gave up a lot but if I could choose a team according to roster, I would take Denver.
