I seen a Colts guy talk about the leadership Dodds brings to the table. He's been around a long time so would have a lot of input in hiring the coach.
-
Flores, Bowles and Daboll in that order.

I read about Khan's job in Pittsburgh. He was the cap guru, had nothing to do with player personal. We don't need a another business man in the front office.

The Same O'le Same O'le - What A Complete Joke

I think Harbaugh is a walk in and hire on the spot and then he helps with the GM hire. He carries that much weight. -
If Khan is a talented guy, why is Pittsburgh passing on him as future GM.

Not sure how to analyze Hackett with Rodgers being his QB. So much what happens is because of Rodgers.

Bears requested formal approval to meet with Frazier

Being college scouting director doesn't give him final say on who the teams draft. Not sure you can pin Manzel on him. If you look at his bio, he has been involved in some very good drafts. He was here for 6 years yrs during Lovies tenure. -
It sounds like NY sucks right now, so good for you. I just got to Thailand for the winter, actually cheaper than me living in Florida or Arizona.

I hope Flores gets a interview, A good coach.
-
The Brown's roster always gets raves, but haven't showed up on the field. Morocco Brown is out of Indy who has definitely did well in drafts lately. A lot of people give good reviews about him.

Totally need to hire the best available at both jobs. They threw some diversity names out there for political correctness. Pollian has a good history of success and will help. George's speech kinda of sucked. Calling out Olin Kruetz was a cheap shot. Said no Ted but will go to him for advice?. A different way to say he's still here. Heard we are interviewing Morocco Brown (GM) and Leslie Frasier, both would be good choices. Flores got fired in Miami, that's my first choice for coach. Took a terrible roster and made them winners. Wanted Herbert over Tua but got overruled by orwnership. A good leader that players want to play for. I hope they make a quick decision so they can start the process right away.

He left with Fangio then was DC with Rams 2 yrs ago. So last yr would have had the choice of Chargers HC or DC with us? I think he would have chosen Chargers every time.

As much as it doesnt matter, I always feel better when the Bears win. Had some positives in the game.

I agree it needs to be a priority because it makes everything else better. I think we stick with the development of Borom and Jenkins so a OT wont be a high pick. I do see an upgrade at OC as the most important move. Whether resign Daniels and plug him at center. I listen to Olin on the SCORE and that Daniels now has experience that he didnt have when he was original plugged in to OC. Great at RBlocking and has gotten better at PBlocking. I think it would be easier to get a stud at RG than trying to find a OC that excels as a rookie.

I would like to see more of Newsome. He may be a capable top 4 WR. As far as spending money, we need one big , however we get him but we need to first fill a couple other positions . OC and CB. secondly a SS.
-
I think when he took over and had a coach of the year 2018. His ego got the best of him. He thinks his system is supreme and can't get off of it.
-
If we had a average offense this year, he would have 60 receptions and Mooney would have over 1000 yards by now. No discipline, bad play calling, and poor leadership affects everyone's stats.
-
I like this draft but you can't not draft a CB even if Graham mans that spot.
-
I think we have to concentrate on bringing Daniels back, extend R. Smith before we have a problem in a yr with him. Also bring back , Nichols, DHC, Bars, Jesse James, Ogletree ( not expensive). Cut Goldman , Trevathan, Cohen, Dalton post June 1 and you save 19 mil. Tonga-Ogletree-Foles take over those spots. Resign Grant for the money you would have paid Cohen. Looking at salaries for 2022, I noticed they still have Jason Peters and is still signed for the yr. Maybe he will hang around as a backup to Jenkins. Whatever way works out, play Daniels at OC and get a new RG or leave him at RG and draft a new OC. Need to bring in a big WR draft or FAgency Need to bring in a couple of CBs draft and FAgency even if Graham is able to man that spot. Hicks would be wonderful to bring back but I dont think he signs for a cheap contract back here, maybe go somewhere else for cheap money. Would he resign for 2 yr --12 mil with 8 guaranteed?

Truthfully we need to draft the best players available with our first couple of picks in area of needs. Not in any order. WR , SS, OC, CB, DT.

Seems to have skills, 3 games should be able to let you know if he's a starter next year. This would be huge. This scouting department has did well on later round talent. If Pace moves to president of football operations, we can keep our scouts intake. Otherwise if we let everyone go, we may lose some scouts.

I agree with everything you said. I think Jenkins has gotten shoved into a bad spot and all is issues is due to lack of practice. He has the physical presence and attitude to have success at OT. Pace has found some gems the last few yrs. Graham looks like a potential starter next yr. I think Mooney could end up being a #1 WR, we just need to get a big WR to complement him. (no AROB) Fields looks confused and makes so many mental mistakes. I think he could be a franchise QB but these games arent doing much for his case. Riddick would be a good choice. I think Pace moves to president of football operations ( Phillips job) and then we could keep most of the scouting dept instead of complete turnover. Hires a new GM and then the GM hires the coach. A new GM would keep Pace in check on the stupid moves he has done. Quinn now has 16 sacks, just think how next yr will look with a healthy Mack. It would be nice to keep Hicks but his injury history will prevent him from getting a big contract and dont think he would take chump change here but would go somewhere else and get a 2 yr 12 mil contract. We have pieces but have to get the right coach to make this a hopeful future. -
Unvaxxed players have to follow rigid rules where jabbed players dont. 0 people have been hospitalized or gotten ill. This is a testing problem. They need to just move forward and stop with this policy of constant testing. No one is dying or even getting sick. This is just another flu that ended up getting political and now all of this insanity. Unvaxxed players have gotten all of the attention but they are not the problem. I have watched several doctors explain the PCR test and it doesnt even distinguish between viral particles. So how are they discovering the new variant unless everyone is getting blood tests? (that's not happening). The FDA has pulled their approval of the PCR test starting the first quarter of 2022. It is inaccurate and not effective. All these policies are being based on PCR testing, this is ridiculous. Covid is a flu stain and it is never going away. We need to just go back to normal and treat it for what it is. If vaccines dont protect you from covid, then they are just flu booster shots.

Shows you have incompetent's this coaching staff is when it takes a flu outbreak to find a practice player that can play. At least he should have had a chance to play before when Vidor didnt work out. Graham may be a keeper. -
This is going to be a mess, several teams have the same problem. I wouldn't doubt if the NFL quickly changes the policy. Maybe just one negative test. Its rare anyone gets sick let alone severe conditions. Its a testing problem.
