  1. As Fields becomes successful with routes to Mooney and AROB, the middle of the field will open up for the TEs. As the offense grows with a new QB, so does the play calling.

For the future of the team, why start Dalton for most of the year? Running the ball and having 12 and 13 sets helped quite a bit. They need to role him out, move the pocket, many sets that could help him stay healthy. Does Fields have a lot to learn, of course, does he give us the best chance to win, yes.(only if Nagy is not calling the plays). I was in Nagy's corner to give him a chance this year to show us what he has got after the disasters he has had play calling. Yesterday, (Dalton is still our starter). Im all done with him. Nagy is a system guy, it doesnt matter the personal because his system works. HIs system works in KC because of Mahomes, Hill and Kelce. HIs stubbornness is going to get him gone.
  3. Glad the voice of reason is back other than the (support Pace narrative). Every GM makes mistakes along the way, and Pace seems to repeat them. I also liked his aggressiveness but transactions like jumping the gun to sign Foles when he should have let the market play out. Did that with Glennon on a big contract, and again with Dalton. He gets nervous that he will be left out and wastes money. I would rather be more conservative and grab what's available at a better deal. We praise him for not being cheap (Jackson) and end up with a player relaxing because he got paid. Not letting Graham leave and save either Leno or Fuller. Just bad decisions. He finally addresses OL and the supposed starting OTs are on IR. Didnt leave an option for the spots if the rookies didnt work out in the first year.
  4. Nagy is an idiot. Why is all he does is take a 7 step drop? One time he released him outside and had a positive play.
  5. Well my CoolAid drinking brain bet on Fields to score a td and the Bears to cover 7 + 1/2 points.A parlay that pays +780. Dumb bet
  6. I think we can keep their running game in check. We will win it we win the turnover battle. It seems we're on a roller coaster , look good one week look bad the nex. I hope Fields can change that.
  7. Any way you want to play it all of these games are going to be close because we aren't that good.
  8. With a comfortable lead, let Fields roll, stop with the pussy footings around.
  9. Nagy only put 3 plays in downfield and Dalton threw short. I think because of the question at LT the game plan was flawed which falls on Nagy. If Fields was there , you could role him to the right away from the problem spot, the problem was Dalton is stuck in the pocket. Another flaw was the East -West play calling for running, with shaky OTs you need to push north-south. The biggest problem with Nagy is he is a system guy and isnt changing anything because of personal. He's biggest failure.
  10. Try a 5th or 6th round pick.
  11. Actually Graham signed a 2 yr 16 mil contract (8) a yr. He should only had a 2 yr 8 mil contract instead of 16. There was no competition to sign him.
  12. We definitely will play better,(I hope) and I see it being close with a similar score. Dalton should be fired up to play his old team. Monty needs to get 20 carries for us to be in this game.
  13. Hard to look back and speculate. There are so many mistakes Pace has made, you dont know where to start. I was happy to see Leno gone but hindsight would have been to axe Graham and keep Leno one more year. Not sure the love for Graham when people like Fuller had to go. We are in such a bad cap situation that someone had to go. Graham cut would only have saved one. Heinike was already in Wash, so trying to sign him would have been difficult. Wash gave him 4,4 mil over the next two yrs. Since we didnt know if we would get a good QB option in the draft had happened yet, doubt we would have got in a bidding war for such a small sample size on a QB prospect.
  14. So much for being optimistic, time to be realistic , no pass rush, no pass defense. No matter what the offense does, we will not be a winning team unless the D is good. One game is hard to measure, but a lot of bad signs from the game. Nagy didnt have one pass go longer than 13 yds and that was on an interception. We bring in the speed factor with WRs and dont throw down field. Nagy's fault. I get we were down to our 4rh LT but roll the QB out to the right and put Fields in to slow down their rush.
  15. (Hopefully) they stop the run and force Stafford to throw. It is the underneath stuff I am worried about. Higbee and Van Johnson. Passes to the RBs. WE need to run the ball well and things will fall into place. It always seems like games that seem so lopsided, it rarely turns out that way. Dallas was looked to be a big underdog. Houston is winning today, who thought that would happen. Having said all that, it will come down to turnovers. If we show a +2, we have a shot.
