  1. I think the possibility of cutting Hicks exists because it saves us 11.5 in cap space. With 20 mil being chopped off of the cap next year, some good players have to go. I think with Goldman coming back, Nichols taking Hicks spot and resigning Urban, McCullens, and RRH we can be okay there. I think with RRH being hurt he will not be getting a big contract anywhere. Dont get me wrong we see what happens with Hicks not playing but he only has one year left on his contract, takes the least dead money hit of all the good players, and will be a year older, 32. Bring in another low draft pick, something Pace seems good at.
  2. This is probably the best case scenario with the assets we have to draft 2 OTs. I would say draft a OT in the first round, QB in second and a RT in the 3rd. Cutting Leno and Massie save us 11.6 mil in cap space. That give us a young OL to hopefully keep together for a long time. Whitehair has a contract thru 2024. We should forget Coward, (sucks) , keep Ifedi with backup money and Bars comes cheap. QBs that may be there in the second are Trask and Mac Jones. That could change thou. GBND report has the top 6 QBs listed in the top 12 which is more because of the potential draft needs of so many teams. They have as part of their top 100 (J T Daniels-23, Desmond Ridder-91, and Jamie Newman-98. If any of them are good prospects then maybe 2 OTs in first two rounds and a QB in the third. I think if we finish 8-8 or above, Pace and Nagy stay, no my wish but just being realistic. After losing money this year, dont see them making radical moves even thou that should.
  3. So did Daniels die in your scenario? He was actually playing the best of the OL before he got hurt. (not my opinion) The OL should be draft pick-Whitehair-Daniels-?-draft pick. I dont think Ifedi has played very well, think Massie would have been better. Maybe Bars at RG? He has faired well since starting. I would prefer 2 new tackles and fill in the interior with what we have.
  4. That would be a good draft but no way Jones lasts until the 4th round, 2nd round player, only because to many teams need QBs, they all move up. I have seen drafts where 4 go in the top of the draft and the next 2 are gone by the middle of the second round.
  5. I am trying to figure what they will do. Someone has to go, If they restructure all the big money contracts, I still dont think they would have enough to keep AROB. Maybe franchise him and try to trade him? Not sure the time frame when the dollars take a hit to the cap. A few of the cuts are obvious but will need to cut a few go of the top players. I was reading where this will probably be a cap reduction of 20 mil, and because 2021 could still be a problem will not go up the following year. That will mean tough cuts or redoing a lot of contracts.
  6. If they run the same type of scheme they run today, rolling him out, slants(quick passes) and stay out of 6 step drops, he can succeed. I dont think they keep both although Foles will cost 10.5 mil in dead money, so I think they keep him as the backup. If they show they play to MTs strengths the rest of the season, maybe .
  7. I think Monty is an excellent back, you notice if he gets holes he looks great.
  8. Makes sense, Adams and AROB are similar WRs.
  9. I didnt think of that, but they can do contracts with the hits in following years. If MT continues to play better in a more friendly scheme, you think they would think of keeping him? I hope not
  10. The sun was in his eyes, he didnt see the ball. A. J. MaCarren is available next year. just saying
  11. If we keep then, then I think we have no room for resigning AROB. The cap is set to lose 20 mil with the covid this year.
  12. The assholes actually look good today. The offensive scheme is using MT how you should use him. Rollouts, slants, moving the pocket.
  13. The problem, Hicks is the best situation for cap savings and now the last 2 years he has had some injury issues.
  14. Next year we will be in cap hell with no QB and a below average team. The players with some cap relief that we will need to choose to cut or keep. dead money cap savings Hicks 1.5 10.5 Fuller 9 11 Leno 5.1 6.2 Massie 3.9 5.4 Skine 3.3 2.8 Graham 3 7 Players we cant cut due to dead money Mack-Trevathan-Whitehair-Jackson-Goldman-Quinn total= 118 mil in dead money. No cap savings Foles would be 10.3 dead money with no cap saving if we cut him. we have to cut some good players, who would you choose? For me: Hicks-Fuller-Leno-Skine and Graham are a must. Maybe Massie for one more year if we dont get to draft a replacement. He was average when healthy. The Oline------ Draftee-Daniels-Mustifpher-Whitehair-Massie or draft pick. Other choice would be Draftee-Whitehair-Daniels-????- Massie Then do we want to pay Robinson the 15-18 mil he will demand? With a rookie QB we may need to franchise him for help. If we get a rehab vet (doubtful) let him go for a 3rd round comp pick. Then we will be forced to keep Foles as the backup QB. After I check out GM and coach choices and go over the draft will comment on them. For now we have a 1st,2nd, 3rd, 5th, 6th, 7th and if we let ARob leave a 3rd comp. The first two picks have to be a OT and QB prospect in what ever order. After that fill spots with who we cut.
  15. He didnt shine while Fangio was here either. I think sometimes going to another team motivates a player and probably would not be much difference this year than before. He is making 6.6 mil this year in LA. If we kept him he was up to be paid in the 10 mil range and that is why Pace gave up on him. A different scheme , more aggressive would definitely mattered for this team this year. I think Pagano is a big part of the problem. Also , you're right Quinn relaxed, in Dallas he was playing for a contract last year, he got it here.

    Fire Nagy

I dont think they fire Ted, just keep him to the business side and hire a football guy to run the operation and keep Ted and George out of any decisions. If you break down the team, our weaknesses are OL and QB. Those fall on Pace. Nagy has not progressed as a coach, he seems to get worse. I think his biggest flaw is not adapting to players instead of being in love with his scheme. We need a GM that builds the lines and can find a QB. The 2 most successful teams in the league over the years has been Pitt and NE. They had long standing quality QBs of which has changed for NE and soon for Pitt. I think we would have been better off if we ended up with Fangio as the coach than the great offensive mind of Nagy. At least the defense would have been more consistent. The problem with a change next year is the hit to the cap space from the virus and some bloated contracts that will be hard to get rid of . We are on a sinking ship that doesnt have a rescue for a couple of years.

    Fire Nagy

Now hopefully we lose the rest of the games so there is no question they get fired. better draft pick. A top 10 pick should get us a QB or OT.
  18. You pay big money to 2 EDGE rushers and you rush 3 men when the game is on the line. Ends this season. OL blows the end of the game, D plays to soft= loss.
  19. I would wish a victory today but my trust factor is lacking. Even if the defense plays well, hard to see the offense contributing.
  20. I like OL but where is the QB?
  21. I doubt Pace and Nagy are gone. To much money lost this year with the Wuhan flu and a big hit on the cap next year. IF they lose out, maybe. I think it will be hard to resign A-ROB unless they cut a couple big contracts. They will probably resign Foles to be a backup and find a rookie or a (Marriota type) to be the new general. They have Whitehair, Daniels to start a rebuild the Oline but have to get 2 new OTs of which both have cap relief if you cut. I think Ifedi isnt special and Mustier and Bars are good backup types. Coward has to go. So our first 3 picks have to be QB, OT, OT. We are missing our 4th in the Foles trade so taking BPA in the rest of our picks. I think if Mustifer plays well when he comes back and we could keep him at OC and have Whitehair and Daniels as our OGs. I would say we have to cut Hicks, Massie, Leno and Graham to even give us a shot at adding some FAs this winter.
  22. First of all, I doubt anyone trades for Mack, his cap hit next year is 26+ mil next year and dead money would be 38 mil if we cut him. Dont think he's going anywhere. Fuller maybe could be traded but he has a big payday and if we cut him, it would be 9mil dead money. The people with the most in saving to get rid of is Hicks-Leno-Massie and Graham. Dead money=13.5 mil and 29.1 mil in savings. Trying to find someone to take on a big salary will be difficult with getting actual value, with teams knowing we may end up cutting them. We have to bring in a new QB and keep one of our 2 to be a backup.
