You guys make all good points on changes. We need to play Bars instead of Coward for the first step, at least he cant be worst. The bad Oline is screwing up everything we do. Foles may look a little better when not under attack all the time. WITH a running game it makes the passing game run smoother. The trade deadline is one week away, go and get a starter somewhere for a 5th or 6th round pick. We need to (when we try to run) go to a power game. Stick Comet in there and leave him. Stick Holtz at fullback and just try blocking forward instead of a step back. Quit playing Patterson at RB and try Miller or Pierce, it cant be worse. We have to remember we are 5-2 and still in the running for a playoff spot. Nagy has to give up play calling or nothing we do will matter.

It would be nice to have an offensive explosion, but this game will be similar to every other game we had this year. 24 points, if we get a DT, 30. Rams anywhere from 13-20. As much as we havent been good against the run, I think we are getting better at it. The RBs are not killing us. The red zone defense is the best in the league and as long as that holds up tonight we win. The key will be to pressure Goff and get into his head. With the covid crap going on, no longer are road games a big negative. No fans.

The defense has shown some highlights but I think the first 3 games are like the preseason that we would normally go thru to get there shit together. I see people out of place, DBs are waiting for the RBs to hit the 3rd level instead of attacking the runner. I think we will see better play going forward. Trevathan played better in this last game. I think the last game we were in a nickel so much it was difficult to stop the run and with missed tackles that is the result we ended up with. Colts are geared to run and Rivers throws to his TE and RBs most of the time. Rivers has 1 fumble and 4 interceptions so far this year. I think the defense keeps everything in front of them and will make a better show this week. The Colts have an awesome line but they have not been running over anyone and has given up some sacks. This is a very winnable game and everyone should play better this week.

Football luck is a strange anomaly. CMC goes down and Carolina wins their game anyways. We usually talk about losing a game because of a bad ref call but instead we are talking about we could have lost BUT. We are 3-0 and you can see that every game has some luck involved in each of the teams wins and loses. That's football, enjoy 3-0.

5 of his 6 drives went into the end zone. As much as he was a little off in the beginning, he throws to the end zone , what a great idea. I went from being optimist, to suicidal to having a football orgasm. Since football is an entertainment view, I would have to say the Bears have one of the better drama shows on the circuit right now.

Getting a RB replacement and signing Snacks to the team wont cost much. I think it should be a priority to give AROB a new contract this week Cohen was solid asset to the this offense. Whyte was cut by Pitt but dont know if he landed on a practice squad somewhere.

Well said Adam, he is to inconsistent and you cant have that and be a winning team. He played okay in 2018 because they managed his ability. I think the Taysum Hill thing is a good idea, can give him a few plays a game to give him some self value in a season when he lost his job.

If you look at all the close games over the last two weeks there are several plays that if made could have changed the outcome of its game. That is what is exciting about football, it is not a regular scripted scenario in every game. We have a long way to go. Our first 3 or 4 games are kinda preseason games to me. We should look better this week but with flaws. If we can get to 4-2 or 5-1 in our first 6 games, we have the chance at a good season. I made a BetRivers future bet that the Bears go over 7.5 wins. I think I win that bet. Positives: MT has looked better at times, we are running the ball with authority, and Jaylon Johnson looks like a stud. Also we are healthy. (huge) The arrow is pointing up.

The first two opponents of the Falcons didnt have a pass rush. This is a game where we get some TOs. Their RT is out and Jones has been hampered by a hamstring injury. Did not play well against the Cowboys. I think the Dallas loss will cause the team to lose faith in Quinn, also if the D keeps staying so bad the O for Atlanta is going to have issues with them. I can see if we get up on them early and get a few TOs that their team will quit.

In the mid 60s I started playing football in high school, so I started watching football. Gayle Sayers and Dick Butkus are the reasons I became a Bears fan. Thanks to Gayle to letting me make a great choice.

Mitch has improved, Nagy is staying with a running game and we are pretty healthy with all the other people going down. Since I consider the first 4 games as preseason games, I prefer to view the 2 wins as positive and expect them to take another step in the Falcons game. I think we have a better defense than Atlanta's first two opponents so it should be a close game with a few turnovers making the difference in a win for us. I heard their RT is out for a while so that should help the pass rush.

It was not Jason Lieser, but that reported the AROB extension, but i can see the Bears and his agent in talks since they did the Cohen contract.

I seen on twitter where someone said they have agreed to a deal, 4 yr 75 mil and it would be announced sometime this week. I would say false since I never seen anyone else mention it.

Damon Harrison considering signing with the Bears??
Stinger226 replied to McGowan's topic in Bearstalk
Didnt know where to put this but read that we had the best YPC for the week in the running game. 5.9 per yard. -
I read where he wanted to play and they held him out.

I suspect they told him they would have a contract done before the season started. This is not a good situation pissing off a team player. I suspect some of it could come from the agent. Pull stuff off social media, and ask for a trade. Up to the Bears now, 4 -80 mil, is the going rate. Although next year they are paying 9 players more that 9 mil a year. So I suspect adding 20 mil to that total would be difficult at best.

I took my daughter out for her birthday and didn't see the game until halftime, it was very depressing. At that stage, I thought there was no way we could win. Glad to be wrong. Positives: we run the ball a lot better, better OLine play. Miller is going to have a break out season. Johnson looked like he belongs. We still had rust from no preseason games, but a win is a win.

I think with Travanthan and Smith in the middle, that will not be a problem.

If I remember he had these same kind of stories going on in Dallas last year but he still played well. If he misses one game, no big deal. The key is A. Hicks and it flairs out from there. Mingo will take his place and with Golliday and the RT out, the lions will try to establish the run and that's Mingos strong suit.
