The most important aspect of the game will be the game calling . I think we have smart people in the room. Nagy was bad last year but I think the new coaches will lift the play calling. Two keys to the offense will be the upgrade of the TE position and us actually using the running game effectively.More so than MT is the upgrade of the OL play. We will see. Even last year with all its failures, we still beat the Lions twice. Keep that in mind.

I think Nichols handling the position very well and with Jenkins and Urban backing up the starters we should be in fine shape.

I think I read where instead of running more inside zones they were going to use off tackle running lanes more frequently. Now that the OLine coach is also the Running coordinator , we have someone in Nagy's ear to stick to the run more. The red zone was a problem last year, which definitely got upgraded. I can see a 12 set with Holtz in the backfield with Monty or Cohen.

We should remember he had a should problem last year and was wearing a harness. That had to affect his play and mentally made him push more that created mistakes. Whoever gets us to win games, that will be my QB. For us to win we only need to QB play to be average in the league. IF we have a running game and with a great D, that is a winning combo.

I think with David M hurting we go with the 2 TE set quite a bit . Harris and Kmet should be able to handle blocking okay. Taking turns in the backfield will be Patterson and Cohen. Robinson, Miller and Graham seeing some slot work. Ginn and Mooney coming in to change it up. The only one I am surprised with is Eris Saubert making it, he must be a very good ST player.

Basically will be a specialty pass rusher kinda backing up Quinn who is similar.

I think with the lack of preseason games, it was hard not to go with MT. More familiarity with the WRs and the offensive structure. Idea situation he becomes who we drafted. If he ends up being same same , then we at least have another choice not Chase Daniels. Worst case scenario is he plays brilliantly for 10 games, gets hurt Foles takes over and goes to SB.
