  1. With us having John Jenkins on the team I suspect he gets the first shot at NT. I suspect Blair Nichols gets some reps there with RRH playing the end spot. We save 7.9 mil in cap space with him not getting his salary this year. Smack Harrison is still out there in FA, at 350, a big guy that is good against the run but no pass rush. We could also add at other spots with this add to the money bag. Maybe a Larry Warford or a Devote Freeman.

    STFU

I guarantee they are playing football this year but don't know how many games it will be. Then a Super bowl, top event of USA sports. It's a money thing.
  3. He must have someone with a health issue in his family that he doesn't want to risk. If he is all we lose , I would be happy. I don't think they have to pay his salary for the year. Anyone out there we can sign to a one year deal that would be better than our replacements. This is a fcked up year , so all I want to see is the NFL get played and distract me from the hell that's happening right now.
  4. Pace now looks a little smarter getting Mack for less than Adam's went for.
  5. I just seen where Shaheen has been traded to Miami. A conditional 6th round pick. Probably based on making the team.
  6. I don't think they drop any draftees. And yes I meant Clark.
  7. Back to sports, I heard the new rules are that they will only bring 80 players to camp, so that means they have to cut 10 players. Cut players: Lee Autry/DL Darion Lee/TE Trevon McSwain/DL Eric Saubert/TE Alex Wesley/WR Amed Wagner/WR Lacalle London/OLB Badara Traone/OL Dieter Eiselen/OL Xavier Crawford/DB Your turn.
  8. Get something straight, I wear masks in public so when u say I dont follow protocol, you have no idea what your talking about. You make the same points that I do. You have no idea whats going on, your a brainwashed liberal sheep. So you have to say what you have to say I will speak what I know. The key to everything is digesting information and form your own opinion. Its useless to have a conversation with people like you, because you are so misinformed its literally impossible to have a intelligent conversation. I got the disease while I was in Thailand. Surprise Surprise, I didnt die. I had two bad days while I was sick. Im 68 so I am suppose to be in the danger group. I got news from 6 different countries about the virus. Not the hosed up MSM of USA. I am not trying to change your opinion, just had something to say. By the way, I have the anti bodies, so two doctors told me I can not spread the disease, but Im sure they dont watch CNN, so apparently their wrong.
  9. I definitely see it affecting the league but not to the degree as to shut down the season. The NBA games will give an idea because they have a lot of contact in their sport, to how well this will go. If they do regular testing , it will help to limit positive tested players from affecting other players.
  10. There is push back on anything that does not promote the mainstream media position on the covid. They asked the official who did the study and she explained it in detail on her findings. She did not go back on her results. There is many conflicting reports from our trusted CDC ( this is not a USA health division, it is a corporation for profit listed on the NYSE)and WHO. You need to dig deep to find information and decide what is true and not true. For example, on the CDC site, they made the statement that they mistakenly listed 43000 deaths by covid instead of by influenza . They did not change this in the total deaths listed on their site , yet admit the mistake. As soon as a new study comes out showing a better view about the covid, they quickly call it false because it doesnt follow their narrative comparing the covid to the plague instead of the common flu of which the current data is showing. So pick a side. The lady that made those statements did not say it totally did not transmit the virus but it was very rare for it to happen. The disease is a real virus but where the conflicting information comes into play is how deadly it is and the current data shows it not to be at all. These are state of Texas information showing the mortality rate of the covid and comparing them to the flu results of the previous years.
  11. Mongo you're spot on. Everyone is focusing on new cases ( blown out of proportion) when it's about the mortality rate. 99.60 % will survive the virus with 80% having mild or no symptoms at all. Older people and people with preexisting conditions are most vulnerable. NBA, 2 out of 322 tested positive. Mlb 83 out of 11,000 tested positive. Its going to happen. Experts ( WHO) have said that A Systematic patient's can't speard the disease. We'll be ok.
  12. anybody know where national sports news shows how much they think the bears will be good? You may need a magnifying glass to find us.
  13. I got home 1 month ago, had to buy a new ticket to go thru Korea, Taiwan and Japan were not open at the time. There is not direct flights to Thailand from USA You talking about Loves Park or Roscoe?

    What If

There will be some with the large number of players in the NFL. We have 90 on the roster now, as we cut down, a list of those players will be with in contact with the team. They are going to allow more on the main roster and increase the practice squad. For example, Tyler Bray will be cut but will not be to far from the team. Something will be done to financially keep these players available.
  15. I seen an article on the intent of we should sign Marcus Golden. He had 10.5 sacks last year and no one has signed him yet. He suggested we could get for 4 to 5 mil on a one year deal. I think having a rookie as our 3rd edge may be a little premature. Having a 3rd high level edge could be a very smart move.
  16. I agree but Newton is no longer in that category. 6 surgeries in the last 2 years. The NFL is not going to let a superstar QB sit in free agency for 4 months. Rivera was on the score and didn't have an answer for not signing Cam. He knows.
  17. Anytime a QB gets signed, Twitter goes nutz because the Bears sighed Foles. The Bears signed Foles the first or second week of FAgency. Dalton wasn't released yet. No way Winston was as a backup on a cheap contract and Cams medicals could not be checked out because of the virus. Coaches were familiar with Foles, he has been in the system before and had success at the highest level. If Pace would have waited until now to sign a QB option, fandom would been badmouthing him everyday. He made the right move at the time. NE can tack risks because that always win. Don't work that way for the bears.
  18. It just shows you if you're not paying attention, how ignorant some people are that are in sports journalists. Mack's career has already put him in the Hall of Fame, and one bad year is going to take that away from him? Obviously if the rest of his career is bad, that will put him in doubt but that has to happen yet.
  19. AND Mack is now #8 for edge rushers. Total insanity over one bad year.
  20. Someone from CBS sports has been rating top10 at each position. No EJAC in Ss. No Fuller in CBs, no Hicks in DL. He must of forgot the Bears are part of the league. He did list Roquin Smith as #8 for LBs.
  21. I was probably the biggest WTF did they sign Graham on here. Seen some interesting stats. Since 2017th season until now. 150 receptions (9th among TEs) 1,603 yards (10th among TEs) 15 TDs (7th among TEs) Zero games missed. May have to reevaluate my opinion.
  22. Watched a tape on Ifedi when he played right guard his first year in the league, he's a mauler, doesnt have the moxy to work on the outside.
  23. Can someone explain to me what (pushing to prepare for bringing in Jamal Adams) bears? How do people invent this kind of rumor? He wants the same money we just paid EJac. How many NFL teams have cap space to pay for the top two most expensive Ss? None
