He plays the same spot AROB plays so we show have seen him show his stuff while he was out. Apparently not enough to be active for the last game.

Look at all the top teams in the NFC, Vikings are good and seem to be getting back into a groove but I think we have the best D of all of the playoff contenders. Everyone rated LA Rams as the best but have yet to show that. Our defense will put us in the position to win, as the O gets more stability and MT grows. We were in every game and had chances to win them all. I do not think everyone remembers our best defensive player and top WR are out and both will have an impact when back. The reason other WRs have taken as the highlight of the game is because the other teams paid so much attention to AROB. Once he is back, we are back to moving forward with the offense.

I always take a realistic view of my sports teams but I am forever an optimist. I think by an over view of people on here it is easy to the positive members and the negative ones. Your so right, I am happy with a blowout even when the offense does not look good. To be honest, if we won 3-2 I would be happy. 5-3, first place and a couple blowouts this year, Im all in.

I replayed all of L. Floyd plays and he actually played well. His problem is when blockers get to his body he has a hard time separating. I think all of that is related to his hand injury. You need your arms to fed off blockers and not being able to workout his are strength while he was in a cast. I think he will be just fine going forward as his gains his arm strength.
-
I think that depends on injury and if he ends up needing another surgery this off season. Truth is with Mack's big money kicking in next year they may choose to let him go depending on well Kush playing going forward. He will make 8.5 , if we cut him only a 3 mil hit.
-
Floyd is taking a lot of heat for a lack of sacks but he is playing well at everything else. I do not think we can forget his injury this year and going forward will be more productive in that area. As a first round draftee, his play is marginal but as a solid football player, he is all of that.

I think we go BPA at that point of the draft. RT will need to be addressed but I think Coward wins that job but will draft a OT to develop somewhere in the draft. I think as you do we need to address our S and also CB situation, someone to develop. I think if their is a S of value at our 3rd that could be our first pick. OLB will always be in the running but as BPA is the order of the day, we will draft accordingly. I think Sims will be gone, and possibly Amos, it will depend on his demand in FA as to whether we get a valued contract bringing him back. I think we basically have young players to develop at every spot. Next year I think Ben B will get more playing time and Brown will still be in the picture so I do not think we address that in the draft. Brown or Ben were undrafted free agents so we will continue to look there for bodies. Thinking BPA OT-OLB-S-CB will all be in play. I also think depending on how Long comes out of his injury woes, I think he may not be brought back. Hes going to be 30, injury history is not good. and also Bryan Witzmann can play RG or RT and I think he developes into a sneaky good addition to our team going forward. He will be making 8.5 million next year that will come into play. That will get you Amos and Callahan back for the same money. Also next year is when Macks big money kicks in, 22 mil. Also James Stone and Dejon Allen are on our practice squad and I think they develop into our next years backups.

Golden Tate is now in Philly, go he be gone for our upcoming games with Det

We cant take anybody lightly. They have many good players on D and being at home, their O can make some plays. Remember they beat the Viking on the road so not a rollover here.

Jets at Bears Official Game Thread (Sun, Oct 28 12:00 PM CDT/CBS/Bears -9)

We have a team that can get us to 10-6 but also is capable of 7-9. If we keep the mistakes at a minimum we will be in every game. MT needs to have more positive plays than negative and we will have a shot in every game. We are still not among the best teams in the NFC we can still get better every week and a shot at the playoffs. Positives: A. Hicks played very well MT played well in the second half Howard played up to the role he is destined for in this offense. Play well at the end of the game and consume the clock. The OL played well Negatives: Long got hurt A lack of pressure on the QB No TOs We won 24-10 so no matter how we do it ,whether 3-2 or 48-10, the only thing that counts is we won the game. -

I think this will solidify his starting status. We have a good shot at winning 3 of the next 4 games to put us back in a playoff picture. Bears win 37- 9 -

As much as their was a lot to see that looked bad, I would have to say when you give up to ST TDs, two interceptions and are one yard away from tying the game against NE, there is probably some good things to look at when the dust settles. At the end of the game, MT had a guy in face or he would have been able to step up and get the ball into the end zone, whether their would have been a catch is another story. I'm Mr. Brightside so I still good things to come. I started out thinking 10-6 would be our record and still think that is achievable until otherwise proven wrong. Their will be plenty to complain about later. -

The next two games are winnable, so that would be 5-3 at mid term, we still have the potential to be good, but we need Mack at full strength. -

Just because Gronk out does not hand this game to the Bears, they have to keep the play makers in check and not let Gordon go off. -
I think the problem is what NE does as a strength is one of our weaknesses, throwing underneath to TE and slot WR. We first have to stop the run and not let their WRs get YAC.
-
It doesn't matter what other QBs do its about progress MT makes game to game. Gould had a bad year when we let him go. The change of scenery caused him to work harder so now he plays better. Hicks played with NO and NE but they let him go and now he is all star type play. That is just the way it works sometimes.

Prince has been playing well, tolliver will get his day. -
When everything is going well you don't get rid of a good player. He will have some games like this but will but needed when the weather gets cold. Let's say we trade him and then Cohen gets hurt, sounds kinda of dumb to think that is a good idea.

I'm in Thailand for 5 more days and get to watch the game at midnight tonight. 12 hours difference in time. One sports bar plays all the games every week so I will be planted in front of a TV. I hope they blow them out so I can brag about my team. -

This looks like a blowout but it seems bad teams can rise to the occasion and maybe keep it close. I see the heat giving us some fatigue late in the game, 27-13 but I want a blowout.
