It will define itself, I would say to take him in the 4th , that Fangio had some input into this. Do they suspect to groom him to take over for Trevathan in one or two years. He can run and is athletic, but just dont have enough information.
-
Some of these seem as odd picks with known names on the board, but they due indepth research on them, so somebody liked them, they just didnt draw names out of a hat. I also heard that Kwait will be moving to the outside.

We need more information, maybe a SS ? Pass rusher only? Has the frame to put on 20 lbs?
-
the next two rounds is Paces playground, finding Howard,Cohen, Jackson,Kwiat, and Amos were all in the 4th or 5th.
-
I think we can dismiss anything Pace says about where he plays. We will get him in here, HH will evaluate him and they will play were ever they fit best. As he is still growing he will probably put on 20 lbs and play around 315 to 320. One year of NFL development and he will be the guy.

For everybody that complains about losing the draft capital over this pick. We lose a 2nd next year, BUT we get one this year. What you have to look at ,we get a guy that they wanted, is a perfect fit to this offense, adds the missing piece to make this offense go, we get to develop him for one year, and get to have his services this year. How does that compare to a 2nd next year? a future with no value this year. So what it amounts to is we gave a 4th and we had an extra 4th this year. He has been compared to Antonio Brown by several scouts. Short area quickness, chip on his shoulder attitude, YAC ability, and fight for the ball attitude. If he is 60% of A. Brown, we robbed this player. I think he ends up being MT go to guy in this offense, if not this year next. A move the chains kind of guy. 4.46 to 4.50 speed, good enough, AB was 4.56 coming out.

If we could get our hands on Tyrell Crosby in 4 and Mata'afa in the 5th that would be awesome.
-
Just like most prospects, he needs to get stronger, his mobility is what sticks out about him. Athletic. If there is a man beast in the middle, he will have help from one of the guards. He has a thick lower body so can strengthen his point of attack.
-
If we have a chance at Tyrell Crosby/OT, I would love that pick and then grab Mata'afa in the fifth.
-
Their are still some bodies out there, we need to find a diamond in the rough J. Sweat D. Ejiofor Ogbonnia Okoronkwo Ade Aruna Hercules Mata'afa Jeff Holland Dorance Armstrong Joe Ostman If we dont get Sweat or Ejiofor in the 4th, I would love to pick up Mata'afa in the fifth.

Daniels is a higher rated player than Sutton. When you criticize you should gain more information in your argument. You have to draft according to the value in front of you. You get in trouble when you reach for players. Here is a former scout rating on his big board. Scott Wright Draft countdown website R. Smith is rated 7th overall James Daniels is rated 17th overall Sutton is the 37th rated player Anthony Miller is ranked 67th. Miller is a perfect fit for the Nagy offense. Quick-good route runner- YAC and competitive on the catch. Many scouts compare his traits similar to Antonio Brown. Grasu is a failed draft pick. Pace has now had two good drafts but was not great in the beginning. If you watch Grasu on tape, he gets eaten up by big NTs, does not have the lower body strength to maintain blocks. He will be cut this year, so stop mentioning his name like he is in play for playing time. As far as the trade goes, the only thing it cost us was a 4th round pick. We get a 2nd rounder this year instead of one next year, that is an even trade considering we got a WR that Nagy identifies as a perfect fit for his offense right now instead of a player we may grab next year. Pace has been a C- drafter in his first two drafts, last year and this year will end up being very good drafts. He is learning on the run and after this year will be looked at more favorably . So far we have added three starters and two have all pro potential.
-
He has had his time to develop, didnt pass the test. Gone.
-
I think giving up a 4th to exchange our 2nd next year for a second this year, is a very good deal. You wait and see, he will be moving into the back of the 3rd round and grab a OLB. He is quite the poker player.
-
It would be nice if he was able to get everybody we thought he should like but the truth is , he is taking quality players. I hear people complaining about Pace, when he has now drafted 3 starters this year and 2 will have some all pro years ahead of him.
-
He will end up starting this year, 3 starters this year with quality picks.
-
They think he is the real deal, that is why they gave up draft capital for next year. I have been reading scouting reports about him and a couple have mentioned he is similar to Antonio Brown, 4.46 speed and quick, good route runner.
