He's going to take BPA, king is in that position. Look who we coached at senior bowl and you may find some clues. Do not be surprised if out next two picks are King and Jerome/s. He is a little small but a playmaker.
-
Initially it helps our running game and better red zone scoring. He has some comparisons to gronk, if just close this is,huge.

I think they offered a 3 and a 4 to move up and had to throw in next years pick to get him. . I read on twtter 4 teams called the 49ers. No one knows what happened and we,never will. I didn't like this at but understand why they did. Everybody is praising SF but at the end of draft they wont have qb for the future. We simply don't know how this turbs out for 2 to 3 years. 2 years ago Pace tried to trade up for mariota, he would have got slammed for what he would have had to give but now that would have looked like a great pick.
-
If they end up being both good qbs, how is that not a win? If he gets it right , you not liking it just won't matter. Getting a franchise qb is sinply the most important thing, period
-
They took two, shots at QB, its not always the same path to get there. Don't get me wrong, i don't like it, but we still have couple of days to see the rest of the draft.
-
How,many 5'9" safeties starting in the nfl?
-
It takes three years to value a draft. J. Clowney didnt shine until his third year.
-
If we look at how Seattle got built, they paid big for Flynn and drafted Wilson. They has a high pick in Thomas but the rest of their dbs were late draft picks. I think we still have a chance to get 2 starters in the next few rounds and end up having our franchise QB, will we lok back and complain about this draft?
-
He's got balls. Lets look at this scenario: We draft Quincy Wilson/CB. He starts by the 4th game. We draft Justin Evans and he starts day 1 at SS. D. Hall shifts to FS and is starting by the 8th game. White stays healthy and gets over 1000 yards receiving. Dan Brown takes over the move TE and between him and Sims have 75 receptions between them Floyd has 13 sacks and McPhee has 10. Howard stays a stud . Glennon has 28 tds over 3500 yeaeds with 10 ints. We finish 8 and 8. Is anybody stilk going to complain about Tribisky?
-
I think he moves back several times , he did last year. Lets say he moves back 10 spots and still grabs a Quincy Wilson/ cb or Kevin King. Lrts say ib the 3rd round we grab a S , justin Evans or Josh Jones. In the 4th a TE, Geoge Kittle. In the 5th a wr, Godiway, niu guy. In the 7th OT Cameron Lee. As i look back, i get happier.

I heard Gabriel say we were 25 points over draft value and someone on twtter say 170 points over. Im in vegas and the achcohol and lack of sleep puts me not in the position to check this out. If you look back at any qb trades, they never look good from this side of fence, but i do say this guy has balls. This is the guy he wanted and he got him, i will never like this but if it turns out, how many people on here are going to be angry 2 or 3 if this guy makes several pro bowls, im going to be saying how great this guy is. We simply can not judge this pick now. Lets say he sits for 2 years before he starts and we ascend to playoffs in 2 years and now have a qb of the future besides, how awesome will that be. Hopefully glennon is good and everything is win win situation at the the most important POSITION in sports . I dont lose my job if he gets this wrong but pace does.
-
Let me just say , i didn't like it but here is how i look at it. You can't judge this pick today.it will be two years from now. Trying to look at the positive side, someone else was bidding for that spot, we offered the 3 and 4, if it was Cleveland, i bet we had to throw in the 3 next year to get it done. It was a little over pay, but not outrageous. If he becomes a top 10 QB, say matt Ryan, will we be complaining 2 years from now? I see glennon being the bridge, trubisky will need some time, so lets say Glennon is,good , we have two top type qbs, we trade him. If he development is,quicker , we have a competent backup that someone woll maybe give us a #2for him. If they got this right we have a franchise qb for 8 to 10 years. If not everybody loses they job. If will be 2 years before we ca n judge this. Another thing, with the way the qbs are dropping , they probably would took a qb with the second pick, so if we get a defensive stud , they got the qb they wanted. I bet they trade back and get an extra 3rd so we're still have , so,we have a second, a third and a 4th. 3 more players to get a s,cb and te? We will find out.

That may be my most favorite draft. At 1 )tribusky At 2) Leonard fournette Bears. Myles Garrett More wishful thinking, we end up with Solomon Thomas Fox and Fangio has the new Vonn Miller
-
I would like that draft
-
Nobody knows anything, everybody's guessing. I think Garrett will not make it to three. If it is a QB it will be Watson early or Peterman/Dobbs late the choice will be between Thomas or Allen on the outside Adams. I would say Hooker would be in play but the injuries drag him down.

here is the lastest one I did at Firstpick, also the highest grade Ive gotten I got one c and one b, I would have had to take another WR to avoid the Jones pick Your score is: 14825 (GRADE: A+) Your Picks: Round 1 Pick 20 (DEN): Jamal Adams, SS, LSU (A+) Round 2 Pick 4: Evan Engram, TE/WR, Ole Miss (A-) Round 2 Pick 19 (DEN): Patrick Mahomes II, QB, Texas Tech (A+) Round 3 Pick 6 (NYJ): Cordrea Tankersley, CB, Clemson (A+) Round 3 Pick 18 (DEN): Cooper Kupp, WR, Eastern Washington (A+) Round 3 Pick 43 (NYJ): Julie'n Davenport, OT, Bucknell (A) Round 4 Pick 4: Adam Bisnowaty, OT/OG, Pittsburgh ( Round 4 Pick 10: Jarron Jones, DT, Notre Dame (C+) Round 5 Pick 3: D'Onta Foreman, RB, Texas (A-) Round 7 Pick 3: Zane Gonzalez, K, Arizona State (A+)

there going to save 3.5 mil and are up against the cap, plus they drafted Cris Jones last year and have the spot covered.
-
He was released today by KC. Last year we offered him a contract but ended up back in KC. KC gave him a 2 year 10 mil contract last year. He had some injuries issues and only started 4 games. 2 years ago, he had 5.5 sacks and 36 Ts , 11 TFL, and 2 forced fumbles. since we had interest last year and he is only 28, I can see us going after him. What do you guys think.

With the last pick i would prefer Xaiver Woods instead of Jones, but would be elated with the rest.

We have upgraded all of our needs, but think they take do BPA which means we will not be picking a QB at #3. If they value one worth the pick, I will be happy but, I have spent hours looking at information and most QB talk are based on need and truly do not have the value . I think we go with 1) Thomas, Allen, or Adams in two if one of the top QBs are left, not likely I would like us to grab Engram/TE. He will be a huge addition to our offense that will offset the potential lack of a true WR. This is Whites third year, and we forget he was views as a #1. Hopefully this is the year, he stays healthy. In the third I see us grabbing a CB like a Cordrea Tankersley/CB or a OT prospect like Garcia or R. Johnson. In the 4th we grab a QB prospect with worse odds at being successful but maybe we get lucky and find a Prescott. someone like Peterman or Dobbs. Also in the 4th this is a spot to add a CB or OT prospect that we didnt grab in the 3rd. Players like Raul Douglas or Howard Wilson at CB . OT prospects like Conor McDermott or Adam Bisnowaty In the 5th we could grab a WR prospect. K D Cannon and Kenny Golladay. In the 7th, I suspect a another saftey or CB prospect to play ST. Xaiver Woods comes to mind. so it looks this way 1) Adams/SS 2) Engram/TE 3) Cordrea Tankeersley/CB 4) Peterman/QB 4) Adam Bisnowaty/OT 5) Kenny Golladay/WR 7) Xaiver Woods/S Depending how the board falls this could be drastically off but we fill some needs with this draft. We did not add a DL but we still have releases after the draft of Veterans and maybe Bullard takes a step forward.( he was highly regarded coming out last year) some players just need more time and more strength. We will bring a couple kickers so most positions are filled.
-
Im thinking we do better than expected. probably 7 wins but could be 9.
-
the problem is you get to look back and see how the rest turned out, you do not have that luxury in the current group. I think this group is more comparable to 2013 or 14, not with the Winston and Mariota, or Wentz-Pescott group

Honestly you cant believe anything you hear right now, some of it may prove to be true, but how do you know what rumors are valid or not. There is no way Cleve passes up on a Juilius Peppers in a draft, that would be silly especially since they have the picks to move up and grab a QB if SF does not draft a QB. But then they do not have football people running the organisation right now, so may be a wild card for knowing what they will do.
-
They are doing the homework to find out who will be the best, but truth is, maybe they find out none of them will. They all have drawbacks. When a Andrew Luck comes out, it is very obvious, and his career has leveled off due to a lack of talent around him. You just never know who it may be , but I do not think #3 is the spot to take a chance just for sake of drafting a QB you do not believe will be special. If they do draft one, then they believe he can be, and i will trust them for it. If they are wrong, fired, if right, we make them heroes.

the two most important things for a true franchise QB is love of football and the desire to be the best he can be. It helps to have all of the rest, but without the first two, probably just good not great. The question is who has that desire? Time will tell
