I have heard several times now, that Hall and add Fuller will be tried at S. If that's the case then, I see us grabbing a SS (maybe Adams) or a later prospect. Fox stated yesterday on the best defense backfield is rushing the passer. So since CBs are deep, I see us waiting for one later, 3rd or 4th. So I seen one mock draft that had us grabbing Thomas/edge at 1 and Bolles/LT at 2 . That makes sense to me. I see a QB prospect, TE and CB in the following picks.
-
I have seen many people claim this is an excellent WR group, so much for PFF
-
He has been mentioned and we definitely need a shut down corner no matter who we have on our roster. I thought he had some injury issues. I think they are some better choices as a far as a turnover machine than Lattimore can provide.
-
I think they will value edge rusher more that most other positions and can see us grabbing one in the first 3 rounds. The value in this draft is CBs, Ss,TEs,and WRs. I see us taking one of each of these positions.
-
This is a thin class of premium OTs so if one of the top 3 drop to the second round, that is a strong possibility we take one. If Pace stands by the stance BPA, would someone else be rated ahead of that position? Yes. If Kizer or Robinson is there at 2, who would they take? I think they would value the QB higher.

I see this scenario happening and would very happy with that draft. Instead of Morton, I prefer Dawkins or Garcia in that range of the draft, more upside.
-
its minor in the context of what shit on gone on with NFL players, domestic abuse, actual murder, continuous problems. The incident itself is way past ok but nothing compared to what has happened with many NFL players.
-
we have a lot of bodies in the D backfield but we are not sure of true playmakers. So I suspect with most of our picks will be BPA. So in the first, that choice will be Allen, Thomas, or Adams. As far as others rated high, maybe Lattimore, or a sneaky unexpected pick would be Barrett/edge player. I think with that high a pick, rushing the passer or a QB they think is a franchise type will be considered.

They are making a huge push to find a QB, but I do not see Pace reaching very far. He will set his board, and depending on how the board falls, he will take Peterman somewhere.
-
He was out partying and got in a fight, with all the bad press on NFL players these days , this is minor. Dumb , immature, bad judgement, it wont affect his status.
-
I see there plan will be hoping one of the 4 drop until the second, if not then i think they go after peterman in the third. If thay fails , then kayaa in the 4th or possibly Scott or Joshou.

I totally agree with Whitehair having the possibility of moving to LT if need be. He played that spot in college and needing to play center with very little experience jumped in and excelled. I think the regime is in the mold to vastly improve this year and bought temporary starters hoping some of the group stand out. Everybody they bought in, they are not invested in after one year. So I think the way they structured their contracts so to get out of them quickly very well means they think some of these guys will take a step forward. History shows us that other than first round players that it usually takes 3 years to develop prospects.
-
To inject my opinion again first Adams , Allen or Thomas(prefer Thomas) 2nd) Kizer or Mahomes if they are there, otherwise, a Bubba Baker or Oli M. 3rd) Peterman if not one in second, he will not last to 4th round 4th) a OT if one of the better prospects slip, a CB, a TE, a WR clearly depends on the BPA at this stage 5th) BPA in above positions we have not filled yet 7th) BPA anywhere, more likely at RB or a good K

not to be confused with Free agents (what ifs) or draft( what ifs) There is no guarantee on anybody going forward , you just hope most turn out well, all of them wont.
-
We have free agents added and soon will add several draftees to the team, but I think one thing we have over looked the the potenial of 2nd year players taking giant steps forward. with the injuries to Goldman in his two first years , a healthy year will add a lot to he strength of the DL. Hicks was a stud on the DL last year and he probably takes a step back but Bullard did not contribute anything his first year. I think this year we see him add bulk ,strength and a lot more contribution to the team. No one has ever said he is not a hard worker and his love of football will put him in the position to take a large step forward. In the D backfield, Hall was injured much of the time and Bush gave us little of nothing. I can see both taking a step forward in their development, which adds much in our progress of a better defense. Fangio and Donatai are both good teachers and it will show this year. Floyd has flashed moments of why he was drafted so high. This year he will add bulk and functional strength that will add more stability in his play. With losing Jeffery we view our WR corp as a weakness but lets not forget we have a #1 already on the roster in White. Hoping he stays healthy, he could take a giant step forward. When mourning the lost of Jeffery, lets not forget, he was very average the last two years. I can see Meredith continuing to get better especially with the emergance of White, and we will not take long to move on from Jeffery. Miller is a player that should have limited snaps to keep him healthier and be able to contribute all year. I can see Brown turning into a legitimate NFL player with a step up in snaps and us bringing in a blocking TE for the other side. Whitehead will only get better and everyone sees that. We know what Massie is( a journyman OT) and tried to replace him this year but I can see Leno improving enough to take him out of the position of always trying to be replaced. We need to draft a OT prospect for the future but I see Leno improving as we go forward. Summary: we have the draft and FAgents but lets not forget our roster and the potential to improve from within.
-
Probably offered 1.5 mil with incentives, would have been nice, but just means we will be drafting a 5T somewhere.
-
We clearly needed a blocking TE to go with Miller, it also is a huge boast to the running game. You have two TE sets and deep speed on the outside and you could have an offense.
-
I think its clear Pace does not believe in over paying and over drafting, so that is why we will not draft a QB at 3 or probably in the second. No matter what happens this year Paces job is not in jeopardy , Fox is another story. Pace will draft BPA PERIOD.
-
I dont think it has anything to do with the draft. If they view any of top three as a Franchise QB there going to take him at 3, if not then a prospect in the third or fourth round
-
I like this much better, but we are not going to get all of our needs in this draft. Allen would make our front 3 killer that will help the back of the D. King is a great pick and Jackson is a sneaky good pick. He was awesome before his injury this year and will get back to that form. We did not address TE or WR but the draft is strong in those spots, so maybe in the last two rounds we can grab a Austin Carr/WR and a Roberts/TE
-
In free agency we have added depth at all positions of need. So if Pace truly takes BPA, I looked at 5 lists of top players and these names common in all: Garrett Thomas Allen Forunette Adams Garrett will be gone and with Howard, wer wont be taking Fournette. So our pick will be from these three: Thomas Allen Adams I would be happy with any of them, but think it will be Thomas. I think we grab a SS in the second or third round, the position of great depth. I think Allen having arthritis moves him back on our list.
-
I think if we sign Shanchez , it indicates they dont see any of the top 3 qbs as franchise players. I think we delegate one of the 4th rounders to pick a prospect. Three that could be there are Peterman, Kaaya, or Kelly. I think they view Sanchez as a vet presence to help the draft prospect and also Glennon to develop. Prescott has stated many times how much he helped him last year.
-
I seen where Ray RH has grown to 285 and had his number changed. Sounds like he is a 5T now
-
he's a stud but dont see us drafting to a strength when others are there
